Damn this album is "crazy good". Ridiculously dense, reminds me of an early Eminem.

Does get a little overly dark and tired at times tho (too many songs over 5:00). Also not feeling the instrumental track at all.

Tyler the Creator seems really stupid. Saw some interviews with him and he is just embarrassing. And his Twitter and stuff... just like... seems so annoying. I haven't really heard that many songs though so can't really judge that well on that. Will listen to the album.

Was shocked and somewhat disappointed to find out he's straight edge.

He comes off as an idiot but I just think he's inarticulate, if that makes sense. Haven't looked at his twitter but I assume it's just a part of his "persona".

It seems like he has good points to make in interviews but he just can't quite get them out right.

Jet Age of Tomorrow is pretty good. Kind of just bugged out beats from outer space for the most part.

Loving this album.. I don't think Tyler tries too hard.. I mean a song that says "kill people, burn shit, fuck school" is a stretch but he says it's fiction on like every song.. I'd guess the same thing could be said about his twitter account..

I think his style and originallity more than make up for any flaws he may have..

This album is the best I've bought since Grandmasters..

Favorite tracks are 1, 2, 5, 7, 9 and 15..

Sandwiches is the best track on the album..

I think the big part of what annoys me about him throughout the album is how assured he is of his own importance. Still like the album a lot, tho.

I dunno, the kid is only 20 years old.. Give him some time "in the spotlight" and he'll be better, methinks..

Like he keeps referencing all the outrage surrounding him and all the parents blaming him for their kids' behavior, but I don't really see what he is talking about. Nobody is really caring about him that much, and it's not like any of his material is new or cutting edge or even "outrageous"...Eminem literally did all of this pretty much "to the T" 10+ years ago

His "theropist" says somethinglike "I don't think people know who you are enough to care"..

I think that's part of the hype Tyler is trying to build..

I think it'd be funny to see them go after someone new every few months, bring the battle aspect back into hip-hop. This new era MAD REMINDS me of the time in 2001 when all you'd hear was Ja Rule and Ashanti and then one day 50 Cent came along and killed his career.
