Why do people brag about cursing out or taunting little kids when John Cena loses or whatever?
|
2. Both early 90s WWF shows, one in Glasgow, one in Edinburgh. One was maybe 1992, the other 1993.
My memory's pretty hazy of the whole thing, the only actual match I can remember is Kamala vs. Kim Chee, which is a bit unfortunate. The only other wrestlers I can remember for definite as appearing at either show are Tito Santana, Paga Shango, Bret Hart, Yokozuna and possibly Hogan. I was 9 or 10, I should be able to remember stuff like that better. :( |
I've been to 13 of them.
|
I've been to a Raw, a Nitro, and I think 2 WWF house shows.
The only thing I remember about the Raw was Diesel destroying Taker's casket backstage and being barely able to see what was going on because it was before the Titan Tron. The only thing I remember about Nitro was checking the catwalks constantly but never seeing Sting :(. |

Rebellion 1999, where Bulldog threw a bin at Stephanie McMahon lol.
|
I remember that. That was rubbish.
|
Quote:
Granted half of them are probably lying. But it still raises the same question |
It's literally a typical internet dickhead acting like a typical internet dickhead, some pathetic attempt to prove that a child is wrong for liking Cena and the ridiculous misguided sense that having a keyboard or reading 'news' somehow equals having a clue/knowing everything and therefore having a right to do it. The absolute saddest and most horrendous kind of wrestling fanboy.
|
Quote:
CSL, am I the dickhead you speak of? People can like whoever they want, I don't like the john cena CHARACTER, but am cool with the man playing it....I don't like having it shoved down my throat, but other people like it.....I say to each their own. As long as someone enjoys a character one way or the other I say keep on rooting....it's what keeps wrestling fun and real is that connection. |
Nah, people can cheer for whoever they want when it comes to seeing WWE live. I was referring to the typical fat idiots that sit and get some kind of kick out of trying to ruin the show for a kid because they think they have a clue.
|
Ah ok cool. Wasn't trying to get into it already with someone here haha.
HBK's my dude, he's my childhood Cena http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot..._5034968_n.jpg |

I don't remember the exact number, but it's gotta be somewhere between 20 and 30. I've been to maybe 4 or 5 Raws, proably 6 or 7 Smackdowns, 3 or 4 Nitros, the InVasion PPV, Backlash 2006, and too many WWE and WCW house shows to name. I was thinking about going to Wrestlemania this year with some people from work, but I decided against it. |
14 House Shows

Wasn't really paying attention to TNA when Hall and Waltman were involved last year, Hall looks in great shape in that picture though I'm guessing it's just a good angle/pic of him.
|
He actually was in pretty good shape that night.....then he fell off the wagon AGAIN

I work for Max Pro Wrestling/Border City Wrestling. We're based out of Windsor, Ontario, but run shows in Michigan sometimes as well. |
Been to two WWF house shows in the mid-late 90s. Saw Bret-Austin was the main event of the second one, so that kicked all of the ass. Also a Thunder taping in 2000 or something, which was disappointing, to say the least.

3 WWE House shows.
First one I saw a squash between Yoko and Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Second one was the first time I saw my first hero wrestler, Bret Hart, live, beating Diesel in a cage match. Third was memorable for two reasons; it's the only time I've ever seen my second wrestling hero, the Rock, live and it was in a cage match against Kane. This was the Corporate Champ. Second reason for being memorable was I got great seats because my dad had rebuilt Ken Shamrock's '69 Camaro so we got free tickets. Went to SmackDown! that saw a great Eddie/Edge No Holds Barred match, and Mysterio/Angle/Benoit main event. It was Rey's first show in San Diego since signing with WWE, and my first tv taping. Went to SmackDown! again in 2008, saw Ric Flair team with Punk on ECW. Made it on TV a few times as well. Last show was the Raw in San Diego two weeks out from Mania last year where Austin hosted. Got to see HBK, Orton, HHH, Jericho, Austin and Vince live for the first time. Got spoiled this night since it was WrestleMania rewind matches, Austin hosted, Bret revealed his broken leg was a ruse, HBK's last match in SD, and the fact that it was basically the go home show to Mania despite still having another weekl of build left. I was aiming to go to SmackDown's 600th episode, but didn't have the cash in enough time. |

Hey we all gotta help out somehow....that's the stuff I started out doing too, but I've graduated to being able to lend my "talents" to doing play by play on our dvd's we put out now(I actually have a background, didn't just luck into it so you know lol) |
1 Smackdown house show back in 2001 in Ocean City, Maryland. Don't remember much about it except it was during the Los Guerreros/Rhyno & Benoit feud and that John Cena came out and I yelled "You suck Cena!" and he pointed at me and glared. Was pretty cool at the time and something I'm sure he's gotten used to by this point.
1 RAW house show in Orlando, FL at the old Amway Arena. Again, don't remember too much about it and it wasn't really that awesome to be perfectly honest. And then I was at WrestleMania 24 which was fucking amazing. I thought I was part of history getting to watch Ric Flair wrestle his last match ever live in the arena... and I was wrong. The lights going out during the WWE title match was pretty lame as well, and people were flipping out when Undertaker's pyro burned some people. I pissed a lot of people off in my row when I yelled "PUNK WINS! PUNK WINS!" after he won MITB. A lot of people left during the main event, too. |
That's pretty funny bout Cena Fox.
It's weird Orlando built the Amway Center already since the O'rena isn't even 20 years old imo. |

3.
House show when I was a kid. Saw Taker from a few feet back and it blew my damn mind. Backlash when Rock took belt off HHH/Mean Street Posse/Shane McMahon/Probably 5 other people because Austin showed up and destroyed everyone when they interfered. Then the raw following that. |
