THE DESTRUCTION PRINCE DEBUTS!!!
Today marked the pro wrestling debut of Daichi Hashimoto. He is the son of the late, great Shinya Hashimoto.
What? Shut up.
I bet he can't make a 3 egg omelette in under 3 minutes.
2nd consecutive disappointing thread in the wrestling forum. I clearly expected a good sock account, especially with OCW having set the standard for this week.

No. His jacket was baggy.

Well TPWW is at that stage where sock accounts make/break it as far as entertainment goes. A shame OCW was shut down so early.

Really? You, who can see within seconds that I am not a sock, are trying to stir things up here? Don't waste your time, "bro".
Let him get those awesome pants the other guy is wearing, and a fanny pack to go with it, and I will be a fan.
Chono is quite possibly the most awesome person ever.

That other guy, Chono, was also a member of the nWo and a former NWA heavyweight champ. Screw the kid, this thread should be about that Chono guy.
Look, Chono is like an uncle to this kid. Give Daichi some time, and he'll be as good as his father was.
Now where did his dad come from? Did he also have awesome pants/hot german wife?
No. If you looked at the photos I posted carefully, Shinya left behind a wife and two daughters alongside Daichi.

Needs more Destrucity to be called a Prince.
And what was so great about the late Shinya guy?
Quote:
He was the longest-reigning IWGP Heavyweight Champion in history (his longest reign lasted from April 29, 1996 to August 31, 1997). He was a former NWA World Champion. He, Keiji Mutoh (The Great Muta), and Masahiro Chono formed The Three Musketeers in July 1988, as they were also in the Class of 1984 of the NJPW Dojo. The three would become the driving force of New Japan Pro Wrestling in the 1990s, surpassing Antonio Inoki, Tatsumi Fujinami, and Riki Choshu, who dominated the 1980s. |
Hey I recognized a few names from Jericho and Foley's books :D

Fucking lame jap shit. Get a fucking life.
Also, are Chono's pants inflatable or something?
In all seriousness, Im not a huge Japanese fan, but I know enough, and never heard of this guy. How is he that great? I know all the great Japanese Wrestlers.
Stan Hansen. Vader. Hulk Hogan. Scott Norton. No SHinya. |

lol what, his first match was against Chono and featured Muta? Alright for some.
Still, fuck the Japs though.
It's not all dangerous head droping nonsense and barbed wire nonsense you know, CSL.
New Japan has consistently maintained their own style, focused more on psychology and mat wrestling. It's really only 90's all japan and noah which focuses on trying to kill one another by crushing each other's spines. |
Kid needs to hit the gym. Looks soft as shit.
Also, judging by that boot print on his face, I'd say Japan is still pretty stiff. |

I can certainly understand why CSL, a wrestler himself, would look down on AJ and NOAH. Instead of making things look like they hurt, they just fucking hurt eachother.
But I am not a wrestler. And it's not me getting hurt, so hey it's still entertaining to me. |
this kid reminds me of a young Erik Watts.
If he added some aerial arsenal he could be the next Greg Gagne!

I like Scott Norton. He's just not that big a deal.
He is like the 2nd Greatest Japanese Wrestler ever.
Right behind Rellik.
Who?
lol (more like who cares hehehe( |
This thread sums up the Wrestling Forum perfectly.
It's just missing a random picture meme from you though.
All Japs look the same anyway.

Really interested to hear his opinions or whatever he's trying to put across here.
Scott Norton kept Japanese wrestling afloat. Without him they would have had to sold out to outside influences.
FOR REAL. Had he not taken the title, they would have had to sold to a dutch owner that made his money in cosmetics.
