Truth goes off on Morrison post match, apparently turning heel. He throws in a running knee to Morrison’s head, driving it into the railing. Then he kind of hugs Morrison and says it’s all right before throwing him down on the floor. He steals Jerry’s water and blasts Morrison in the head with it. Truth says John did this and hits What’s Up on the floor. He gets a cigarette from a fan and actually lights up. Never thought I’d see that on WWE programming. He blows smoke on Morrison and throws the lit cigarette at him before leaving. Long segment here but not too bad.

Does this guy post here, that'd be great if you spoke up.

In fairness, It is a parents responsibility to decide what their children do and don't watch. If the WWE wishes to have somebody portray a character who is a smoker then so be it. If some parents don't like it then they shouldn't let their kids watch.

Smoking isn't a taboo like 'felching' or 'space docking', kids are already aware that smoking exists. infact if the WWE has Morrison go over Truth in the long run in some sort of 'iron man' match or shows Truth suffering an illness and having docs backstage having him perform 'peak flows' or something before his matches and declaring him unfit to fight, it will actually be turned on it's head and prove to be a valuable lesson for these kids.

These are the same parents that don't mind their kids watching a show based around the notion of violence. and who in their day probably watched WWE programming during the attitude era. They have no reason to be all pissy and moany in my view.

I found the whole angle to be really surreal on RAW, actually. It wasn't bad, and I am interested in R-Truth now, but it was just weird. At least we know the answer to "What's up?!?" now - "Wat-er!"

At the beginning of the promo it came across as Morrison turning heel. That would be the direction he needs. That cockiness, kinda smugness he had suits him. Being a dick to get the match he wanted, but trying to come across as 'friendly' about it.
