The Avengers (May 4, 2012)
Mark Ruffalo as Hulk?
I'm not really a fan of comic books or comic book movies, but I'll see it just because. |
He's Bruce Banner and the Hulk (as motion capture, the first to play both parts).
Thor seems to be a hot commodity.
Wow, got all excited because I thought there'd actually be one or two shots from the movie, either way that was still mad epic and 'I just filled the cup'.
This movie is gonna be so fucking awesome! Seriously, as a life-long Marvel fanatic (18 years and counting) if I die the day after I see this movie, I will die a happy man. And awesome cast as well. Not a big fan of Mark Ruffalo, but I guess he's a big enough name to fill the role. :y: |
Gonna have a hard time picturing Chris Evans as Cap since he was the Human Torch in Fantastic 4.
He's a good Cap. Definitely has 'presence' now. I'd follow him to war.
Not Edward Norton as Hulk? What is he doing that is so important?
Never seen Fantastic 4, so if I ever do I will probably have the opposite problem. Like "Why is Captain America the Human Torch"?
I'm really interested to see what Hawkeye looks like.
The need Drew Struzan to do a classic poster for this too, instead of just slapping something together with all the characters like an internet photoshop. |

I actually don't remember all the details, but that's not the whole story. There was some difficulty from his end at some point
Joss Whedon = ratings!
Joss Whedon = character dying at the climax of the movie in a "shock" manner that if you blink you will miss!
- Captain America's suit is updated, Evans can move around easier this time (it was metioned that the suit in the upcoming movie is purpously cumbersome).
- Tom Hiddleson is very happy that Loki's plans are bigger, adding more fuel to the accepted idea that he is indeed the main villain... or at least one of the major players. - Scarlette Johansson will sport shorter hair than her IM2 look, but it's just has hot red as before. - Nick Fury will have an updated look as well. - Kevin Feige gave a not-so-subtle tidbit that Avengers will the be the start of a 'team-up franchise'. Perhaps like the comic, the members will be rotated and times feature entirely different teams. This is a very good idea on Marvel's part. |
I hope we get something at one of the Comic-Cons coming up.
Fuck yeah.
Why does he have so many zippers?
Does he have cocks everywhere? |
he hangs different directions based on his mood. Rather than upset his penis, he made zippers on either side as to accommodate his super soldier dong

Holy shit the new trailer is FUCKING AWESOME.
Is it online anywhere?
Oh, think I found it at last. Sorry for the shit quality:
<iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/hJ7o1yFnPFU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> However, by the time anyone clicks on this it'll probably have been taken down. |
Best quality so far, for an off-screen.

Other one's awesome, tho. |
Looks like the zipper thing is uniform. Except for Iron Man and Thor, I guess.
Quote:
Also, they'll find a way to give Iron Man and Thor zippers. |
I know this is being shot right now in Cleveland, trying to get up there and see some of the shoot.
Just noticed Hulk is naked in that pic at the top of the page.

Admit it KK, your interest in the movie just doubled didn't it.

hope Hulk's cock is like a Dr. Manhattan situation
Just noticed that all of these pictures can connect.
Oh yeah, that's pretty cool!
Someone do something to connect them all! I wanna see it! |
I think The Hulk piece is still missing. Near the middle. Nothing to connect Iron Man to Cap.
I love how Agent Coulson went from being a sort of throw away character in Iron Man to one of the bigger supporting characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Clark Gregg is awesome
And I think that's why. He was so great in a small role that they created an arc for him.

ASSEMBLE MEGA SIZE:
http://i51.tinypic.com/zt94r7.png Well, at least bigger size. Can't upload the MEGA SIZE version. |
Fucking epic! Seriously can't believe this is happening! After all these years we're finally gonna see The fucking AVENGERS in a movie!!!
Man, if I die before this comes out I'm gonna be so fucking pissed. |

Well it seems at least in Thor's case, he is indeed wearing his own movie's costume. Perhaps his Ultimates costume is either a SHIELD variant or his non-active garb.
Cap's new suit doesn't look so bad in action, and we can see how it allows Evans to move better than he did in First Avenger. Has a Power Rangers quality to it. Looks like they're dealing with a lot of invaders. |
Badass.

Whether that's Chris H or a stuntman, that must feel very powerful. |
Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

I now have a new desktop wallpaper.

That looks a lot like Edward Norton.
In fact it looks unofficial. Sorry.
So what happened to hugh jackmans wolverine being confirmed for the movie. Now I know he isn't an Avanger but I think he's "a new avanger"... I read he was confirmed for the movie, is this just going to be a comeo then or is it bullshit.
It would be fucked up connecting the X-men universe and Avengers one but I'm sure they have before. With the new spiderman franchise maybe he can have a lawyer and set up a new daredevil movie and have The amazing spiderman be in the same movieverse as the avengers and a new daredevil. |
Yeah, he won't be in it. As long as Fox still owns the movie rights to the X characters, you won't see Wolvie or any other mutants in a Disney/Marvel movie.
When was that 'confirmed'?
When Fox bought the rights to the X-Men franchise.
Though, it would be awesome if they somehow get the exact same Wolverine cameo from X-Men: First Class.
Would cum so much if Wolverine got a cameo in the Avengers but that seems so impossible so I am not getting my hopes up.

I googled it to see if it was an article from april first, and it indeed was...

Not official, just well done.

Have a feeling this cap costume is not going to look any better on screen. Don't get why they felt the need to go all sci-fi with it. Just doesn't seem like a good fit for the character.
Most likely a Stark upgrade, it would be scifi.
It does make sense to be honest. Why would you have him running around in a uniform from the 1940's when you have guys in hi-tech armour on your team.
The Cap movie one still looked better imo though. But I'll wait to see the final product on screen. |
I think it looks fine in that last pic. Course, he doesn't have the helmet on.
The EW picture looks a million times better than the production stills do. I know they'll color correct and light it to make sure the suit looks great on film. But like Lock Jaw said, I'm not sure those things are going to change the fact that the helmet looks a bit stupid.
They keep saying Cap's in a dark mood because he's marooned in a future time and all that. So they should have added some black to his suit similar to Bucky Cap to give him some visual edge.
Thor looks epic as always. He has a presence that, in my opinion, matches costumed Christopher Reeves in terms of nobility and power. |

You know, after watching Thor again, I really can't find much fault with it at all, at least in terms of my tastes. I've very sad that the director isn't staying for the sequel, because you can really tell he respects the source material. I was ecstatic when the first screens showed up, and revealed that they were going for the Medieval-alien looking aesthetic that was prevailant in so much of the book's history. I thought they would go straight medieval, since that's what the current book's look is. And then I saw the Destroyer pic, and nearly creamed myself. I'm not saying the movie was The Dark Knight, but it really didn't do anything wrong. Probably my biggest criticism is that I thought Volstagg should have been fatter. Too bad Orson Welles is no longer with us. He would have been a great Volstagg. |
At the robust age of 96.
I meant an Orson Welles in his prime.
Well not in his prime, but in the prime of his fatness.

I just ejaculated.
But seriously... from the moment Nick Fury appeared I had a huge smile on my face.
im almost more excited that they used that nine inch nails song lol
Doesn't let too much slip about the plot either, other than stuff we already know. Like exactly who the antagonists are, other than Loki.
Too bad Hulk is gonna take a green shit all over this movie
Love it.
The trailer looks awesome. The only thing I am upset about is I wish Edward Norton was still Hulk.
Yeah, I want that too. But really that's the only flaw I see with this. One piece of continuity unfulfilled.
