Who is your favorite indie wrestler's who u would like to see in the WWE?

Only guys in the indy's count even if they were in the WWE before. So guys like Shelton Benajamin or Charlie Has would count too not only new guys. My top three guys for this would be,

1. Colt Cabana - He is a funny man who can wrestle and is no joke. He can do a good feud with CM Punk or Triiple H if they use him right and not as a joke when he was Scotty Goldman.

2. Chris Hero - Thid huy is just plain amazing and under rated. He can do it all imo. A chris Hero HHH or Cena feud would be gold.

No-one from fucking OCW though, because it is the single worst organization I have ever seen in my life. You know like STD's get that itching feeling sometimes? I know it all too well due to my constant battles with crabs, but watching OCW is actually more annoying. I would command you to avoid it at all costs and I know what I'm talking about, because I just brought up 2 of the most popular indie wrestlers ever. Everyone in OCW has Hep B and the girls hate us which is why we bought a wrestling ring and steroids. Furthermore, fuck them all.

There's this dude named Erik Slade who is really good. Probably the best wrestler in the world because he said so.

Indie guys I'd want to be in WWE? Anyone over 6 foot, in great physical condition, and willing to wrestle slower and shorter matches. That's the kind of guy that gets a comfortable job in WWE.

Gotta give him creativity points this time.

Joey Ryan would be great in WWE too. Him and Rhett Titus as a team would be amazing, and would bring some serious sleaze into the WWE.

Also, for the sake of arguing, Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards would never make it in the WWE. Edwards is a poor man's Daniel Bryan, and if Bryan can't get over, Edwards never will. Davey is also pretty small and generic looking himself. He'd have a better chance than Edwards, but he'd have to revamp half his moveset.

Out of curiosity, Gertner - and this is a legitimate question - where do you think guys come from before WWE signs them?

bodybuilding shows, tryouts, amateur wrestlers, swimsuit competitions(women) and a few Indy guys who have size and personality(which is like 3% of them).

Honestly, he's pretty much right. If you look at the bigger indy feds, ROH, PWG, Chikara, etc, the ones that focus on good in ring competition, fewer of those guys end up in WWE than the guys from some random tiny indy place. And it's because it's easier to get into WWE based on looks than it is talent.

Eric Bischoff said back in the day that it'd be easier to train actors to wrestle, and he's not far off. A guy like Randy Orton would have never made it in ROH. A guy like Eddie Edwards will never make it in WWE. ROH cares about ability, WWE cares about marketability. Occasionally you get guys like Punk, who have "it" and make it from a quality indy fed to the big time. Those guys are few and far between. I mean, think about it, look at the guys you see on NXT? Where did half of them come from? They didn't come from indy feds that focus on "work rate."

It's not a shot at ROH either, they're just two different beasts. Very few guys in ROH right now could cut it in WWE. There are some, but not many.

For some advice from somebody who has no actual business giving it, let me just say that such a flashy finisher for a heel works against the ingrained dynamic of wrestling. Heels are supposed to attract "BOOOOOO", not "OOOOOOOOOH!". It's great that you can do something so athletic, but I feel a more dastardly, mat-based finisher would be better for you. Cheers bro.

How about the "Artistic Combat" for your finisher? A series of Liturgical dances followed by a school boy?
