*Official 2011 WWE Money in the Bank Discussion Thread*
Since tonight's PPV is a pretty "big deal" I thought I'd get this out of the way early.

Still contemplating between ordering it and just finding a stream.
I wanna watch it but I think I'll just watch a stream.
On my quest to find I stream I did find this though:
watch WWE Money in the Bank Live stream free online hd video coverage tv 17 july 2011 he considers that number one since Alberto won to agree with a contender 1 in RAW, Money in the Bank Live stream and does that the party saying that Of the River it is his unique opportunity before the title leaves the company. Finally, we have a new Champion of the WWE in Alberto Of the River. Cm Punk leaves like babyface enormous, but it will return in months with a revenge! Randy Orton versus Christian by the world-wide championship of complete weight of WWE with the resigned rule of DQ - Welcome to the Christians against Orton to show again.Money in the Bank Live stream Cristiana and Orton will face by fourth time, third in payment by vision with a wrinkle adds Money in the Bank. Maybe I'll just order it, that sold me on it now. |
Glad to see DAMN iNATOR is alive and well

NOW THAT I PROCLAIMED IT, IT MUST BE CANON |
I'd say that if they go the route of having the Raw MitB winner cash in at the end of Cena v Punk then that will most likely be the first match of the night.
I'd like ThePCGameInspector to review this PPV tomorrow.
SO apparently CM Punk is advertised for Raw tomorrow. Should we read into that?
Not really. Taker was advertised for Smackdown on Mar 8 in Houston, and he did come in and cut a promo exchange with HHH. But he was not shown on TV.

I'm not a Killswitch fan really, but god damn does that song fucking rule. IF CENA WINS WE RIOT!
Double me in if anyone finds a stream. Rep. if anyone still cares about it lol
Someone find me a stream too
Calling it now:
Finger Poke of Doom II!! The match starts, Punk rushes Cena, Cena pokes him in the chest, Punk flops, Cena pins him, Punk jumps up, hugs Cena, they point at the crowd and laugh. |
Got the night off to watch this live!! HELLS YEAH!
Will totally mark out for Punk tonight, but I would actually mark more if they pulled out the "who raised the briefcase?" spot on R-Truth.

1.) I'm a Chicagoan, so I feel like there's some vested interest I have in this PPV. 2.) Punk has put on some of his best work in the last few weeks, not just personally, but in WWE history. I respect both that and his honesty throughout this whole process. Buying this PPV may be one of the few ways to show the WWE how right Punk is about their needing to change. |
I'm a Chicagoan till Chicago ends
Till we blow like Chicago wind |
I've been thinking somehow, McMahon is going to screw Cena, and when Punk says take the WWE title, he means get rid of the retarded spinner belt.

Big show vs Mark Henry?
Should be epic. |
Yeah I don't have to work in the morning either.....fucking sweet.

You know what? I'm not even going to bother finishing that sentence because there's no chance in hell of that happening. Tonight Punk will redefine the word epic! |
I don't remember the last time I looked forward to a PPV this much.
Also, looking at the tipster's thread, some people's opinions on who will win the MITB matches are crazy sounding. I see a few Daniel Bryan picks, a Sin Cara or two... odd. |
Tipsters is also really split on the two title matches.
CM Punk - 17 John Cena - 17 Christian - 21 Randy Orton - 13 |
these forums are going to be a nightmare tonight, they've already been lagging a bit at times
Looking forward to this!

The load is already too high. You guys wont be discussing anything tonight :(
For those who have used channelsurfing.net and know that it was "seized by the US bunchofdicks" the site is back as channelsurfing.ws, MITB is under the Other tab
Oh yeah Christian's got a title match tonight too :o
The Punk stuff has been so awesome that I've pretty much forgotten Smackdown existed. |

1) On SD, Kane told Teddy he's feeling less like a monster, then proceeded to lose to Orton. To be fair, who doesn't, but Kane looked really weak the way he lost. Unlike everyone else going into MITB, Kane has no momentum whatsoever. The guy's not even a dark horse at this point. There is NO WAY he'll win, and the people on Tipsters get that. 2.) Second and perhaps most importantly, Kane already won the SD MITB last year. He then proceeded to cash in the same night on Mysterio to win the title for only the second time in his loooooong WWE career. It took over 10 years for the guy to win the WHC, twice. Why on earth are they gonna push him again, NOW, when there are so many other stories they have that could be told with all seven other guys. Let's be real. Kane's not getting a two-peat and that's all there is to it. Fan love or not, nobody's that stupid. |
I dunno, Jack Swagger won it after spending weeks jobbing to Santino. Anybody could win it really, even Heath Slater :-\
I see so many people, including myself, getting their hopes up about this being all a work even though we know it's not. Before this all happens tonight, I just want you all to know that I love you and we will get through this together.
I'm praying, even though we know it's not a work, that the WWE will at least bring Punk back by Mania. Either to interject him into the Cena v. Rock match or to give him his own match against Austin. Talk about a dream Mania:
Cena v. Rock AND Punk v. Austin. That would be one hell of a crowd to hear! |

I wouldn't say "we know it's not a work". Only time the Punk contract stuff was "acknowledged" was at the start of this angle, the rest was internet talk and if it was a swerve, this is the way it would go. He's probably finishing up tonight for a period of time but nobody outside of the people involved/WWE know for sure.
Shouldn't the fact that they hinted something about him kinda starting to snap and turn back into a monster lean more towards them about to push him than not? I'm not saying he's gonna win because I'm not sure what they would do with a monster with a MITB case but I think that at least makes the possibility intriguing.
I haven't actually sat and thought about who I think will win the MITB matches so... here goes. I think Heath Slater is the least likely MITB winner in the matches history. Gabriel isn't too far behind but if WWE did wanna go with the "WTF?!" shock win, it would be him. Cara and Bryan would be interesting to see with the case and are both good dark horses but I wouldn't bet on it. Kane, like I said, seems to be going somewhere character-wise that isn't revolving around the title yet while Sheamus is too obvious and could get by just being the angry guy who has been screwed over. That leaves Cody and Wade Barrett. Cody Rhodes isn't a main eventer yet in my mind. WWE could wanna do the mentor teasing the teacher thing with Cody taunting Orton with the MITB case but I think Wade Barrett has just been groomed for this moment since going to SD. It's just too fitting. So much so that I can't even go with "It fits so perfectly, it CAN'T happen" theory that WWE likes to fuck with. Smackdown MITB prediction: Wade Barrett The Raw one is MUCH tougher to decide. Del Rio doesn't need it. He's got his #1 contender win to lay claim to and he's likely already got his "non spur of the moment MITB" match at SummerSlam. Unless they wanna have him come out to win the title after Punk and Cena's match (Which is very possible actually), I can't see him winning. Truth could be the "way too anxious to win it and thus, loses and goes even more crazy" choice so that's possible. Miz seems like he's on more of a path to the upper-midcard than another MITB. It's too soon for Riley. Swagger could be a good surprise pick just because the other guys mentioned will have something to do without it. Bourne just can't see with the MITB case unless they wanna just go for the huge shocker and then have him lose it to someone tomorrow night on Raw or something. So I guess my pick here would be Rey Mysterio. With Del Rio already having his #1 contender gripe, I can see him being angry as his long time rival Mysterio has a MITB case and both of them fighting for the SummerSlam match as Mysterio wants to cash in fairly at the next PPV. Raw MITB prediction: Rey Mysterio |
Okay, this is a HUGE HUGE HUGE stretch. With that said, if what I'm thinking is true, it could be a huge spoiler.
Chris Hero has been posting on twitter a lot today about the show he's doing in Austin Texas. About 20 minutes ago, he posted on Twitter "Apparently I'm not so good at 4 Square..." 4 Square, besides a random playground game, is also the program for phones that let's you check in and show people where you are... There's no other hints regarding what he's talking about. It could be a huge stretch, but I'm thinking Chris Hero may be in Chicago... |

Try this out:Kane opens up the briefcase and instead of a contract, inside is the Attitude era mask. He puts it on and then destroys the champ beating him with the tombstone. He IS the only one around to use that move right now. Taker is taking er easy...as a bald fella. |

If Punk manages to win the WWE title, he will make history by becoming the second <strike> wrestler </strike> superstar to have won the WWE Championship, the World Heavyweight Championship and the ECW Championship. The first being "The Big Red Machine" Kane.

Not saying it's going to happen, the thought just came to my mind when I saw the 4 square comment... I mean, if WWE was going to bring in KOW soon, it'd seem silly not to do it surrounding this Punk angle. But, alas, that's why I'm not writing for WWE, I think too much. |
FUCK THIS, I think I might just stay up for it. Get in work early and come back and sleep.

Anybody have any streams?

It's free on Sky over here (http://www.tvguide.co.uk/detail.asp?id=98034360), so there will be loads I'm sure with Sky Sports HD1 in the corner.

Would be pretty sweet if we got it free. Enjoy it bro.

I think this particular ppv will be well-worth the money (no pun intended). |
Anyone hit me up with a stream in a PM, I would be very grateful

Not a stream, but NEEDS to be seen. |

and we're a go
Here we go.
Unless something huge happens or changes, :( no more Punk after this ppv for a while.
I'm leaning towards either Del Rio or Kofi winning the MitB case for RAW and Sheamus for Smackdown. I see Barrett as the surprise pick for Smackdown considering Sheamus doesn't really need the case but everyone else except Kane would need a good amount of time to develop a quality push to be seen as a real threat. |
Quote:
if WWE wants to stay in the news, they'll do the smart thing and let punk leave with that title.
Okay, too laggy to PM a bunch of people. Click my name and read the top message if you need a stream.
Looks like we're starting this off with a not diva match. Nice.
sin botcha
One of these days Sin Cara is going to piledrive himself with his own intro.
 Sin Cara's sportin' a new look.
So, 450 off a ladder?
Interesting decision to put the Smackdown MITB on first. Would have opened with the Raw match myself. I am giving this match to Sheamus.
have a feeling Justin Gabriel and Sin Cara are going to be sore tomorrow
Pops for Sheamus... Hah, why not, he'd make a good face too.
Though I do hope it's Cody Rhodes!
I prefer the ex-Corre theme to these weird themes Gabriel and Slater have.
Daniel Bryan- The only man with NO CHANCE of winning this match.
OK, who's going through the Spanish announce table?
I would go for Barrett but if Rhodes wins I'd be pretty happy. Anyone else and I will bleed.
Bryan's got a really intense look on his face. Looks like we're getting crazy DB tonight!
So freakin stoked about this.. Think it'll be Sheamus but I'm not gonna complain if it's Cody Rhodes.
What the fuck is Heath Slater doing contending for a shot at the title
Way too many cruiserweights in the Smackdown MITB match.
I am rooting for Sheamus.
Looking at this mix- Sheamus, Wade Barret, Justin Gabriel... the idea of the Un-American stable can make a good come back today.
