TPWW Wrestling Forum Top 75
 

Yeah Ok this is a cheap imitation of the thread Triple A did in the Casual Forum but some of the great posters never go in there, So Me and my esteemed Tag Teag Partner Tucsonspeed6 are going to be judging the wrestling forum and producing a top 75.

This is the official sign up thread feel free to put yourself across in the best manner you can, remember all bribes will be considered at all times. Our list will be as accurate as possible not taking into account amounts of posts and rep but pure good posting whether it be comedic, tactful, well written or even just consistently putting across good points.

Neither of us have been here a great deal of time so we will be looking back over the threads from as far back as we can to try and track down everyone's best work.

People who don't sign up will still be considered but be aware that this is your chance to 'Big up Yourself'.

I was afraid people might be angry about this list. For those of you who are used to the wrestling forum, you should also be aware that this is not the worst thread in history. It's just a retalliation against the casual forum. THis is nothing more than an opinion, and we all know that there have been worse opinion threads started. Relax. It's all in fun.

Well, not really "hating" you, just disliking you. Because you gave me a bunch of crap back when Eugene first showed up. I think it was because I was a newbie.

If somebody would like to help us, that's fine. I'm all for a little advise on this. If there's a lot of protest to it, I'd be fine with canceling it too. Most of the people who have posted don't really care, so we're just going to go ahead with it.

Basically my process of elimination is by taking the most recent 500 posts from each person who posts in this thread, looking at the ones in just the wrestling forum and the wrestling Q&A forum, and counting the ones that actually make a good point or are funny. For instance, a noob's "Golbrg R awsum!" would not get any points, but Rock Bottom's "name a wrestler and I'll defend them like a mark would" thread would give him quite a bit of leverage towards being a top poster.

And the Caption Crew also has a good bit of leverage too, though I won't base the entire thing on those who are funny.

1. you can't have 13 people in a top 10 (I did say top 10 in my original post).

2. Your names popped into my mind first. Not taking anything away from them, but that's just how it happened. :-\

So what happens if say I post 3 times in one thread and CyNick posts once and his one post is better than all three of mine put together. What if some posts are viewed crap by some and great by others?

No system is foolproof. The rep system isn't that perfect either. What if a newbie came in with a spectacular post, but nobody noticed it other than other newbies. They can't really rep one another because their reps are just about worthless. It takes someone like Funky Fly or Kane Knight to see the post and rep them before their reputation really goes anywhere. I'm not trying to say that the Rep system is flawed. I'm just trying to say that this is only for fun. We'll try to add a little bit of humor, but it's not like we're going to make headlines that go "Breaking News: Heyman better poster than loopydate" or anything. Think of it as ass kissing if nothing else. We're not trying to put anyone down, but rather to bring people up. The list in the casual forum was so cliquey that great posters like PureHatred were considered nobodies.

I should spend more time on the wrestling forum. It can be boring sometimes, but when there's some good topics going on, it can be very hottt

I'm in... not that my chance of getting in is as good as Hardcore Holly getting another chance at the WWE title. But I have belief that nothing is impossible. That was why Holly got a title shot in the first place.
