I know we've done "best theme music" theads before but im curious to how u guys feel about which wrestler had(or has) the perfect theme music for their gimmick

I thought Victoria 's Tatu song is perfect for her and as annoying as it was the theme for the Right to Censor was perfect, as it was suppose to annoy us

Randy Savage's WWF theme.

i liked Sting's music when he was The Crow. i didnt think it was befiting when they changed it to "Seek and Destroy". i think it sucks, in general, when a wrestlers theme music is an actual song.

NAH...i didnt like it. it sounded like a high school graduation ceremony.

i liked the Rock's music when he had just made his heel turn. but as his popularity grew amongst the humanoids the wwe made it more commercial sounding and more candy-coated. just like they do with everything else. IT SUCKS!

When Edge and Christian broke up, I loved Christian's theme music. "CHRISTIAN! CHRISTIAN! AT LAST YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN..." It was perfect because Christian was always looked at as the "lesser" of the tag team, but with the Intercontinental Title around his waist, the gold showers pouring down, and those opening words, he was a brand new man.

think im gonna have to go with Zach Gowens theme. Out of my way-Seether. Basically the lyrics to the song went perfect with his gimmick that he had. When I first heard that song I thought that it was a great fit for him.

I can't believe nobody's mentioned MR. PERFECT's WWF theme. There's never been a theme that fit a wrestler's persona better!

Regal's old music was awesome, and then he'd wave to the crowd, that brilliant!!!!
then they changed it to that dark music :( that sucked (altho i think i am in the minority here)
Lesner's music was awesome, as was GOldberg's in WCW.
Hogan's Real American was brilliant, and when he came back and was using purple haze or whatever it was, that sucked completely.
Taker and Kane both have great music too.
Hardy's, E&C and Dudleys were all really good too

Epic music for epic wrestlers (Flair, Savage, Hennig) always worked for me. And D-X's was a thing of beauty. The key to a really good theme though is that the moment the fans hear it, they know who's about to enter - Austins glass smashing, Rock doing his catchphrase, even the opening riff to the H's theme. Right now, a lot of the women and cruiserweights and what have you have horribly generic themes that sound like the next one. WCW had that problem too, bar about half a dozen exceptions.

hardys, e&c, & dudleys, back when they were all tag teams, their themes all sucked.

Well, The Ultimate Warrior's theme fit him perfectly, as he was (and still is) extremely intense.

BTW, has HHH ever been asked a question directly by anyone at a WWF-E press conference about the Ultimate Warrior? I just wonder what his reaction to that would be.

We're talking wrestling terms though, "real american" is probably the best known theme in wrestling for obvious reasons.

I think I've got a unique pick here, I always thought that Dino Bravo had a really good theme. He was supposed to be "Canada's Strongest Man", & the song definately has something to do with Canada (National Anthem?).. They barely ever played it on tv though, since it was pretty much Dino's duty to job out to the faces & be comic relief. When it was time for one of his matches, they would cut directly to Dino in the ring. I can actually only think of one instance where they played it, at Wrestlemania IV before his match with Don Muraco. For anybody who's never heard Dino's entrance, I uploaded it here . Check it out ppls, it's a cool theme.

P.S. I tooke the bandwith WAY down on it, so it's only about 350 kb. I don't think that really affected the song that much.

Stone Cold Steve Austin's slowed down "heel" theme (that was scrapped eventually)... it made an appearance in Smackdown: Just Bring It on the PS2, but never again after that.

The original Chris Benoit theme, "Shooter". I used to think that kicked ass when that came on...and Edge and Christian's rendition of the theme was golden.

any of the X-Factor themes...because they all were several degrees of suck, just like the stable.
