Having not heard from Hero I've set up a league. If he wants to be commish then I can transfer control to him.

I'm not joining since I can't make the draft.

Same situation as with the football draft, starts at 5pm and I won't be home till 730.

Won't join a league where I know I won't make the draft.

Myself and one of my good friends will be in tonight. Never done fantasy hockey before, so I hope we dont get stomped.

Well the problem is that if I move it back 2 hours then there is the likelihood that it might not finish for me until 1 or 2 am.

As long as it's after 830 Indiana time, I'm okay.

I have to work 7am-7pm that day, the draft starts at 5pm for me and there is no use in joining an auction league where Ill end up around 8th-10th in because the autodraft was made by a retard if the NFL one was an indication.

As you wish, seems a pretty weak reason to opt out of a league. Besides, the fun is in playing not necessarily winning. Afterall, you were complaining about people rolling their team in the final week.

Moonax, with all honesty even if I WAS knowledgable about football, do you think the team I had autopicked could even MAKE the playoffs? Its goddamn horrible.

I might as well stay in as you guys will be without an active manager but im not very happy about having to miss the draft.

The draft is an auction and it's on the 25th Sept.

Auction is fun, however I feel it creates a disparity between those who make the draft and those who dont.

With standard, you usually end up with a decent team. Auction is the pluggers people wouldn't bid $2 on.

The fact you got Price for 23$ makes me distrust this. Again, its a mock draft which could skew the results abit. A fair few should be worth more.

I was in the mock draft with four humans and seven computers if that counts for anything.

Lucic is good for 50pt, 15ppp, 80pim and is a plus player.

Would be about $20 imo.

I got him for so cheap because all the human players exhausted their money early on bigger names. The autobid got me some good deals near the end.

What is the auction budget this year? I still had around $30 at the end of the auction last year. So it seemed to be a decent amount we had to play with.

I'm pretty pleased with my team.

I am mostly happy. I got a few questionable autodrafts.

Though I still want to punch the fuck in the balls who made me pay $67 for Getzlaf.

Yeah, some of my autodrafts aren't great, but the non scoring and assisting categories keep me not so angry.

Pretty psyched to have Shea Weber. I think Jagr might be kinda great this season, too. I'm cautiously optimistic.

The popup on Niemi says he expects to play the opener. MacArthur is suspended for 2 games for a hit in the postseason, not cut. I wish yahoo would use an S instead of NA for suspension notices. The other two, Havlat may or may not play the opener and Connolly is pretty much ruling himself out.

I can transfer ownership of teams to players who will be active during the season.

I'll run that trade by him. Not sure how interested he'll be in Anderson, but he is a big Datsyuk fan.

As far as Christa goes, I can check with her to see if she'd like to continue or if transferring will be necessary. I've been on her about checking her team.

No go on the trade. He was intrigued, but thinks Datsyuk is falling off offensively and that Vanek is invigorated by the new blood around him in Buffalo.

Droford don't get rid of him. Look at his slow start last year and his massive finish... I made the mistake of getting rid of him because he was terrible at the beginning of the season. It fucked me in the end.
