I'm actually looking forward to Show/Henry. I liked their MITB match. I'm going into it expecting to see two giants beat the shit out of each other, so it's not like I'm setting my expectations to the resurrection of Shawn Michaels' career or anything.

I think the last Mark Henry match I ever managed to watch all the way through was tagging with D'Lo. Big Show has his moments, but I just despise "big man" matches. Too slow and dull for me.

Henry's storyline has been the best in the WWE for a while now. I am very interested in the match.

Ryder will win the US Title tonight, opening the door for Swagger and Ziggler to help "re-invent" the tag division.

Punk will, or atleast he better, turn on HHH. Them tagging together, to me anyway, makes no sense.

Cena will not lose clean.

Punk's taking the pinfall and bumping 80% of match and will break away from Hunter for Survivor Series.

I think Punk wins, but Miz and Truth totally destroy HHH and take him out.

That said, the endings of the last few PPV's haven't exactly been predictable. Something crazy might happen again.

Road Warrior Animal returns and beats the shit out of his brother, while Road Dogg makes his return and joins forces with Miz and Truth.

Now that's unexpected.

Also Rhodes vs. Orton

I maintain that the only logical way for Alberto to win this match is to physically restrain Cena to the ground somehow. Probably with outside help. Outside help on its own will not be enough, they will literally have to strap him to the ground.

Throw him in Del Rio's car's trunk.

Kind of hoping Del Rio now runs Cena over and Cena picks up the car at a 9 count.

DVRing IN HD for the morning. Hooray for it being part of my sports package and not on PPV.

I'm assuming that if WWE Network gets off the ground, these B shows will be aired on there and the PPVs for those will go out the window. Which would be a wise move, honestly. Though the commercials would suck.

Maybe show it on there a week after or something, but if they can get their 150-200k buys for the b-shows, they'll take it. That number is probably mad up of the hardcore who will buy the network AND the PPV's.

I'd agree, but they're definitely considering the move, since it's been in surveys lately. It's very risky, but it also, at least in their mind, ensures the growth and acceptance of the network. Vince has gone on record that they're willing to go into debt for the network, and they recently took out a $200 million dollar credit line or something ridiculous like that.

Just saying that they're looking at the Network as what WWE is going to be when it launches, not some side project, and the prospect of these PPVs on it, again in their eyes, could be seen as a bargaining tool to cable and satellite providers.

SO apparently Orton vs Rhodes is for the IC title. Not sure why I thought it wasn't, but I'm happy about this. Guessing this is part of the supposed quest to inject prestige into it; first they brought back the classic design, now it has a PPV match featuring one of the young guys they're highest on versus a very recent World Champion. Very much looking forward to this.

Wow, really? It's been assumed that it wasn't for the IC title by a lot, myself included. That does change things a bit.

Yeah, they should do a PPV based around that concept, then have the main event not be a title match.

It will be interesting to see how Ryder does when given quite a lengthy bit of time to put on a match. Of course he's in there with Ziggler so I'm guessing it'll be at least a very decent match.

Yeah, and thinking about it, he has a pretty decent chance of winning in some type of fluke. Whether he messes something up in the tag match to cause he and Swagger to lose and Swagger screws him or he's just "tired" and has an excuse to why he lost, Ryder COULD win.

Of course, the more logical way to do it would be for Dolph to actually dominate to give him a bit of a push, but I can easily see Ryder winning and the Dolph/Swagger rift start to take off (even though it's way too soon).

There's a lot of different ways that they could handle Ziggler tonight and it's one of the main things I'm looking forward to. He's essentially currently feuding with Ryder, Bourne, Kingston, Mason Ryan and there's the slight friction with Swagger, albeit much less than a few weeks ago.

Yeah. Haven't really thought about it, but they're giving Ziggler a lot of depth lately, relative to other guys. Ziggler is the goods. :y:
