New Beavis and Butthead tonight
 

Man, this show was such a big part of my teenage years growing up. I had all the VHS tapes, and was probably the biggest fan ever. I'm super pumped for the new episodes tonight. Discuss all things Beavis and Butthead in this thread.

I'm going to watching with open eyes. It's been fifteen years since their last season though, so hopefully they won't be too rusty.

Kinda looking forward to their commentary on things like Jersey Shore and Lady Gaga..

Was a good return, but Beavis' voice kinda bugged me. Just wasn't right. And Butt-Head's "uh" was more of an "eh" :-\

McVicker died in the very last episode before the new season. "Beavis and Butt-Head Are Dead" is the name of the episode.

I guess this was super easy to do since they recycled the animation for the couch scenes where they talk about the videos/reality shows. Im surprised they didnt do this 10 years ago

Maybe they can bring him back, was one of the greatest characters.

I'm happy with the new episode. I was worried about them bringing the series back, but they did an outstanding job keeping the original spirit of the show alive...

You can tell the quality of the animation sucks in the couch shots vs the new stuff.

Also, Mike Judge forgot how to do Beavis' voice so thats why it sounds off.

Yeah, was actually quite weird/awesome to see him actually standing up to someone who was trying to "bully" them.

I really love this. I has caught a interview with Mike and he said the hardest and most imporant thing to him was making the show relevant to today with out over updating it. I believe he accomplished his goal.

The rat part of tonight was hilarious

Not sure if anyone has kept watching but the season finale was tonight.

I like the ending part involving them getting stuck in the elevator the most.

Im dissapointed that in the new episode where they have all the teachers helping B&B, they didn't have Mrs Dickie (used to teach science in the old eps) and Buzzcut.

Buzzcut was in an episode already, though.
