WWE title

If you had a chance to bring back a version of the WWE title what would it be.

Kane Knight 12-02-2011 12:06 PM

The spinner belt that actually spun. that was dope yo.

jskinnyg 12-02-2011 12:10 PM

The unified title belt was f'ing sweet!

TheManCalledTruth 12-02-2011 12:20 PM

It seems to be a favourite.

MVP 12-02-2011 12:24 PM

Either the Winged Eagle Belt or the Attitude Era Belt.

Anybody Thrilla 12-02-2011 12:27 PM

Smoking Skull

Anybody Thrilla 12-02-2011 12:27 PM

Make the skull spin, though.

wwe2222 12-02-2011 12:43 PM

Really anything pre-spinner

Winged Eagle or Attitude would be great...id settle for the undisputed belt, but not a huge fan of it

Cuse8 12-02-2011 12:43 PM

old school belt worn by hogan/warrior/hart/hbk etc

Xero 12-02-2011 12:43 PM

I don't see enough love for the Undisputed title. More and more it's becoming my favorite WWE Championship design.

My absolute favorite, of course, is the big gold WCW World Championship.

Nicky Fives 12-02-2011 12:44 PM

Attitude Era Belt..... only a little modified......

Undisputed Championship.

XCaliber 12-02-2011 01:09 PM

Didn't realize there were Eagles that had no wings lol but they should just bring back the previous incarnation that being the post Undisputed WWE Championsip same design but with the WHC coming back was disputable again.

RiX1024 12-02-2011 01:16 PM

Either the Winged Eagle or the Attitude Era one, the spinner is becoming a joke imo.

Emperor Smeat 12-02-2011 01:34 PM

Probably because it was never used on tv for one.

Attitude

Wolfpack423 12-02-2011 04:27 PM

I think the Attitude Era Winged Eagle belt (the black background kind of a modified version of the one before it) and the JBL version of the WWE title belt were always the best.

Xero 12-02-2011 05:08 PM

While on the subject of changing belts, especially with the classic IC returning, I feel the US title needs a redesign. It was always a weird design to me. It doesn't look like a belt as much as it looks like a huge, gaudy belt buckle.

Also, I think it goes without saying the tag belts need to go. Probably the only non-indy belts worse than the spinner.

Attitude era belt. If I ever get crazy enough to get a replica belt, that's the one I am getting.

ace3025 12-02-2011 08:47 PM

I think they should play off of the whole, "CM Punk does really portray a champion" angle and have him storyline buy a straight edge belt. Like two of the fist with the lightining rods making an X would be sweet. That way he can "stick it to them" with a new belt and continuing to claim that hot potato title regins are over.

either that or the winged eagle...... whatever

In the past I used to say this:

or this:

http://wrestlingbelts.org/wp-content...ling-belt2.jpg

but since I've seen this pic I start to fancy it more:

http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/189...ndysavager.jpg

I'd rather not have these titles back though. They each have their own history and memories attached to them so in my opinion they should just make a new one that also looks good.

Yeah, I think I'd prefer an all new belt over reverting back to an old design. But if I had to, I'd roll with the Attitude Era design.

That would be the greatest time for him to get pulled over for DUI.

fuck belts. the championship should be a hat. or maybe a nice scarf.

Fox 12-03-2011 12:49 PM

I support the idea of a new title design. The classics are great and everything, but I think the WWE should be moving forward in their idea of designs - not backwards. I think that if they really worked at it and put the task to talented designers who have a strong knowledge base of great championship belts from history (wrestling, boxing, ultimate fighting, etc), they could come up with something truly great that could represent the new era of the WWE.

But the spinner belt HAS to go. Even Cena has publicly degraded it.

I was thinking more along the lines of particular shoelaces.

Last time they tried that... they got rid of the Women's title and came up with the butterfly Diva's championship.

Might be best to revert.

Or their new WWE Tag Team title belt :|

Rammsteinmad 12-03-2011 03:01 PM

What's wrong with giant bronze belts that look like 2p coins?

Theo Dious 12-03-2011 08:31 PM

Go with the Undisputed design, since it was actually a counter-point to the Big Gold Belt at one point.

with Spartan style men on the front, implying solidarity and sodomy?

Triple Naitch 12-03-2011 09:40 PM

If and when WWE switches their logo to the new WWE Network logo, they'll probably get a new belt. Fingers crossed.

Xero 12-03-2011 09:46 PM

I didn't even think of that. If the network logo really is the new company logo (which it probably is) they pretty much have to get a new belt.

Or just switch out the logos. :-\

I agree the US title is nothing but the WWF light heavyweight title with red, white, and blue on it.

And them ugly tag team titles got to go. Bring the tag team titles WWE use for the Raw brand

Surprised no one said: "This one, but make teh belly spin!"

Mr. Nerfect 12-07-2011 05:17 AM

I would rather a new WWE Championship belt than an older design. If they go with a new logo for the WWE Network, that seems like a great time to debut a new title design. Perhaps at WrestleMania XXVIII?
