You should put spoiler in the title.

Not because I give a fuck about the spoiling, I just want people to see the title and think that Ernest Miller returned on Raw.

Xero 01-09-2012 11:37 PM

lol

Lock Jaw 01-09-2012 11:41 PM

The original video embedded:

Brodus Clay is no Ernest "The Cat" Miller.

Lock Jaw 01-09-2012 11:46 PM

I would like it if every week Brodus Clay came out to a different ridiculous gimmick.

Xero 01-09-2012 11:49 PM

I was hoping that the gimmick was that he had lost so much weight waiting to debut that instead Gillberg comes out dressed in a singlet.

Evil Vito 01-09-2012 11:51 PM

I can't stop watching his segment. It's mesmerizing.

lol. A Brodus Clay-sized singlet hanging off his body as if he had never taken it off throughout the weight loss.

Droford 01-10-2012 12:19 AM

I want Ernest Miller to comeback and be his manager, otherwise fuck the WWE for recycling his music even though 99% of the fans won't even figure that out.

Wishbone 01-10-2012 12:21 AM

Not sure how this makes me feel... I was laughing when it happened, but a part of me wanted to also cry.

Disco Apocalypse 01-10-2012 12:45 AM

Brodus made me believe in Disco again...

crazeewhiteboi 01-10-2012 12:52 AM

This was horrible. Why put off his return for that? I just lost 5 minutes of my life I will never get back after watching that. smh...

weather vane 01-10-2012 12:52 AM

I liked all the sounds he made when he wrestled. He reminds me of Akeem and I loved Akeem haha.

Kapoutman 01-10-2012 12:53 AM

Well at least it's different. I liked it.

Juan 01-10-2012 12:55 AM

I'd much rather this than a "Unstoppable Monster #233" gimmick

#1-norm-fan 01-10-2012 12:56 AM

I like how Laurinaitis told Otunga last time he was on the phone with Brodus that the longer he waited to debut him, the angrier of a monster he would be when he does debut.

And then The Funkasaurus debuts. lol

Razzamajazz 01-10-2012 01:16 AM

somebody call my mamaaa.....somebody call my mamaaaa

Nark Order 01-10-2012 01:30 AM

Lol sweet holy mother of funk

Lock Jaw 01-10-2012 01:36 AM

I've got the song stuck in my head.

Actually, I've got Tazz singing the song stuck in my head.

Avenger 01-10-2012 04:13 AM

That was good.

WWE needs a decent comedy character.

Good gimmick - Clay will get it over.

Tazz Dan 01-10-2012 05:13 AM

That was my original thought on it. I loved the funkasaurus though.

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-10-2012 08:16 AM

When I first saw this I thought "oh shit" they are burying him for that tweet where he said he was going over Jomo as his last match.

The crowd seemed to go for it so I hope this sticks. Funkasaurus!

whiteyford 01-10-2012 08:35 AM

It makes him stand out if nothing else. Glad they didnt lumber him with "unstoppable monster #233" as a gimmick at least this has potential to get over and develop.

Y2Ant 01-10-2012 10:57 AM

is it just me or does he look a lot like Kris P Lettus?

Captain of Fun 01-10-2012 11:05 AM

This was fantastic. The WWE needs more characters.

SUPLEX BABY! SUPLEX!

#1-norm-fan 01-10-2012 11:20 AM

The girls with him were Naomi and Ariane Andrews from FCW.

You may remember Ariane as the first contestant eliminated from Tough Enough. Her new favorite match of all time is surely Funkasaurus vs Curt Hawkins.

Great Point!

FourFifty 01-10-2012 12:47 PM

Are they serious? They have this monster from NXT who could have gone from a loser on NXT to the FCW for a cup of coffee and back to the main roster... so they take him out, hype him up as a monster, to have Fat Funk come out?

Avenger 01-10-2012 01:03 PM

It might be cool if it turned out that Laurinaitis forced the gimmick on him and he eventually gets really pissed and turns into that monster.

FourFifty 01-10-2012 01:06 PM

Quoteth the book of Russo.

CSL 01-10-2012 01:10 PM

bollocks

#1-norm-fan 01-10-2012 01:32 PM

Goddamn people, can a big man have a gimmick that isn't stereotypical for once!? Jesus Christ!

Xero 01-10-2012 01:34 PM

Is Brodus Clay black? I can't tell.

FourFifty 01-10-2012 01:38 PM

I bet they were getting shitfaced and watching old Rikishi tapes when they came up with this gimmick for Fat Funk.

Lock Jaw 01-10-2012 01:39 PM

OHHHHHHH BRODUS YOU ARE SOOOOOOOOOO FUNKY.

Razzamajazz 01-10-2012 01:49 PM

brodus is the modern day mabel, with an amish beard

Corporate CockSnogger 01-10-2012 01:54 PM

They definitely need The Cat to make a guest appearance at the rumble. Dance offffff.

The Jayman 01-10-2012 01:55 PM

Curt Hawkins got funked up

FourFifty 01-10-2012 01:58 PM

Speaking of Hawkins (as his name is mentioned a little less around here than Barry Horowitz) what's up with his cane?

What Would Kevin Do? 01-10-2012 02:03 PM

He's still a monster. He's just a monster that likes to dance.

Nothing about his funky gimmick says "hey, this guy is a joke" or "hey, this guy couldn't serious fuck you up."

Supreme Olajuwon 01-10-2012 02:06 PM

It's true. Rikishi got a main event push wearing a thong for crying out loud. It can be done.

#1-norm-fan 01-10-2012 02:08 PM

Yeah. It's actually a completely realistic gimmick. Not really far-fetched or anything. The guys just got a personality.

Corporate CockSnogger 01-10-2012 02:28 PM

Yeah and the gimmick gives him room down the line to SNAP AND TURN HEEL

Ermaximus 01-10-2012 02:29 PM

Anyone know what happened to Lamont? He'd be solid as Brodus Clay's cohort.

He used it to help walk around when he claimed to be "injured" but now just has it as part of his gimmick where he either uses it as a weapon or when threatening people.

VSG 01-10-2012 03:08 PM

That was so glorious

djoutcry 01-10-2012 10:07 PM

Really really really like this gimmick.

Quite possibly the only entertaining gimmick in the WWE(...out of the two?).

Sorry folks, Ryder doesn't do it for me at all. WWWYKI

Supreme Olajuwon 01-10-2012 10:20 PM

I count at least 11 gimmicks right now.

Brodus Clay
Ryder (?)
Goldust

Sin Cara (?)
Santino (?)
R-Truth [FACE] (?)
Hornswoggle

...shrugs

Brodus trumps them all

and I still find Brodus' gimmick much more intriguing. But we shall see next week.

Hell, I can go ahead and say this, Brodus' gimmick > The Undertaker's gimmick

I never liked the deadman Undertaker gimmick. Not sure why.

Maybe his debut spooked me when I was a kid and forever shunned him.

meh

Anybody Thrilla 01-10-2012 11:07 PM

Brodus was on television with that gimmick for...what, five minutes?

Anybody Thrilla 01-10-2012 11:08 PM

Actually, about three minutes and fifty seconds.

Anybody Thrilla 01-10-2012 11:08 PM

That's definitely enough of a body of work to compare it to the twenty plus year career of The Undertaker, I would say.

Lock Jaw 01-10-2012 11:12 PM

I guess his debut was delayed so he could learn the two dance moves that he did.

Vastardikai 01-10-2012 11:21 PM

I want that hat.

Anybody Thrilla 01-10-2012 11:22 PM

It was probably really difficult to find a tearaway track suit his size.

I think it may be something to do with the HD cameras in the last few years. I remember it was the reason for Mark Henry's gear change a few years ago.

Hey, I'm in to Truth's psychotic escaped slave gimmick, even if it's less interesting now that he's a face.
