He wresles like once a year now and it is awful when he do.

I think Taker is extremely overrated on these forums. He has one great match a year at Wrestlemania with the right opponent, but most of his other matches are pretty bad.

I value the Undertaker for what he's done in terms of longevity, and what he's still capable of in the ring at his age. While his quality of match has dropped somewhat in recent years (hence his once a year return), it is still much greater than some of even the current roster as well as other legends around his age. I think he deserves his streak, and I believe he is not even close to being the worst wrestler in the business. That belongs to the stiff-legged Great Khali....I truly believe he doesn't have knee joints, and that his legs are just two gigantic bones, hence his inability to bend them.

I wonder if people thought Andre was the worst wrestler ever back in the 70s when you'd only see him once or twice a year in your territory.

Apparently Dodger hasn't seen a Big Show or Jesse Sorrenson match.

I know Taker tends to put his all into these matches, but with the exception of his matches with HBK, who could pull a good match out of a quadriplegic, his "all" has been significantly less these last few years.

I didn't..I felt it really lacked...of course I am biased comparing it to HBK's bouts with Taker..but hey how can you not when the storyline was based off that. HBK can make anybody look good..something Triple H couldn't do..and as stupid as it sounds, I can relate to what Triple H is saying in his promos..the way Undertaker looked last year was..borderline depressing! LOL..speaking of that, does anybody know if that was legitimate? How Taker looked beat up and hurt? Or was he just selling?

I wasn't excited at all during the build-up for that match, but the match itself was pretty fucking awesome. It wasn't as good as the WM25 match, but I think it rivals the WM26 match.

Yup. The "trolls" aren't the problem. It's people reacting to them and ONLY them, choosing not to discuss things other than how much of a "troll" the person is. It's pretty fucking pathetic, really. As long as the thread is wrestling-related in any way, it has a place here. If it's a topic that someone thinks is stupid, they should just not fucking post in it. Pretty simple stuff that not a lot of people seem to grasp.

Honestly bro, I couldn't tell. And Undertaker only wrestling once a year, like the trolly thread starter states, made it harder to determine it. To me, it looked like Undertaker was legitimately beat up and tired. lol

i didnt like the match last year either, mostly because we already knew the outcome. taker said he wanted to pass the torch to someone younger, so it killed the excitement. the only good part about the match was HHH's entrance

and i do agree that taker is overrated now. sure he was great a few years ago, but hes old and beat up now, and should retire. i dont care when he returns anymore and i dont look forward to anything he does or has to say now

but it sho is fun!

The question I have for this guy is his thoughts on Rock's first match after 7 years? And if there are some comparisons to Rock and Taker's workrate...

The fact that you never know which side Hanso will spazz for makes him one of the most entertaining posters on the board.

I did not like the Taker/HHH match last year. No way was I expecting anything remotely resembling his previous two matches with HBK, but I thought the match just lagged between spots. The spots themselves, like the AA spinebuster through the Cole-mine, chairshot, and HHH's Tombstone were awesome. It was just all the huffing and puffing going on in between them that bored me.

I get they where they were trying to go, but it was a little too slow for my tastes. The finish was superb, though.

And in no way is Taker the worst wrestler in the world. You have to have some semblance of talent and know how to be able to put on an even decent match. I don't care who you're in the ring with. Taker had good matches with HBK because he's good at what he does and he got a chance to work with arguably the best of all time. Same with Flair. He had something left in the tank, albeit not a lot, and HBK ran with what was there. It doesn't make Flair any less talented. It's a two man dance.

Also, just to clarify how bad Taker isn't, remember his Mania match with Batista, aka one of Batista's best matches ever? You can't be nearly the worst wrestler if you pulled a great match out of Batista whilst well past your prime.

I loved the HHH match last year.

I thought last years match was pretty good. Although, with that being dadi, I am not looking forward to it again. Why waste undertaker's return on HHH? He has nothing to gain from it, its the 3rd time they're doing it, the promos leading up to it will be the same as last year, and my biggest complaint is the feel this wrestlemania has. We have rock v Cena and jericho v punk. It's a old v new feel and HHH v taker III doesn't add to the card, but I think takes away from it.

After the HBK matches, there was no way they could compete. HBK instantly made the "streak matches" peak. So instead of trying to top it, they tried doing something different. I didn't hate it. I wasn't blown away like most were though.
