So, what do you think? I always thought Dustin Runnels to Goldust was a remarkable transformation. |

I think it's Ringmaster to Stone Cold

The one that I'm surprised didn't get mentioned there was Chris Jericho's transformation from "Y2J" to "The Best in the World At What He Does" Jericho. That was a huge gamble, as Jericho sacrificed so many things about his character in order to evolve, and I feel that it was the year that "made" him, if it were.
That being said, obviously greater transformations were the ones that led to the most cash being made. Hulk Hogan turning heel and going "Hollywood," The Ringmaster going Stone Cold, Hunter Hearst Helmsey abbreviating and Rocky Maivia talking in the third person all come to mind. |

I loved David Flair to crazy David Flair after watching his dad get brutalized then coming out and decking anyone within 400 meters with a crowbar.

Regardless, the best recent transformation was Bradshaw to JBL. Not just a gimmick change, but a complete transformation from a mid-card tag-teamer with apparently no potential or charisma, to a solid main eventer in months. |
Probably Davey Richards from "very intense guy with respect" to "very intense guy with no respect, but with honor", to "very intense guy with no respect or honor, but the fighting spirit."

Kerwin White's titantron remains possibly my favourite of all-time.

Imagine if Chavo Guerrero ever swallowed his pride and showed up back in the WWE as "Kerwin White" and refused to acknowledge that he was ever Chavo Guerrero. Vickie could go up and try to talk to him and Kerwin could act like he just met her.
