Brock Lesnar should've come out and F-5d Daniel Bryan into the announce table.
|
YES!

WWE will have no choice but to turn him if this carries on for more than 2 weeks......

YES!

YES!
|
in retrospect, it's great that he got squashed. He wouldn't have had this outpouring of love from the fans if the booking team didn't turn heel on him.
|
I'm sure when they go to an actual "WWE universe" crowd, things will be back to normal though. faces will be cheered, and heels will be ignored.

Fucking awesome.
|
Still not really a fan of him.
|
If I ever get to wwe I want Jerry lawler to design my t-shirts.
|
LOL. I was wondering how long it'd be til we saw a "YES" tee.
|
Also, LOL @ the pop for telling AJ to "Shut up!".

|
lol Cody tags in and the crowd dogs on him so bad he tags Danielson back in
Also  @ the 'No' chants for Sheamus |
YES!
|
People should start chanting this:
We want wrestling! We want wrestling! YES! YES! YES! YES! We want wrestling! We want wrestling! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! |
Also, for the people who think WWE is trying to bury Daniel Bryan:
Quote:
|
YES YES YES
NO NO NO YES YES YES <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/ZarESCzF7u8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
I love the YES! catchphrase and hope it will finally replace that fucking WHAT? chant.
|
Three of the most over catchphrases in WWE history:
What Woo Yes |
I'm shocked that Bryan hasn't become a major heel. Seriously, I thought we would have arenas filled with people chanting "Eat Some Bacon! *clap-clap clap-clap-clap* Eat Some Bacon! *clap-clap clap-clap-clap* Eat Some Bacon! *clap-clap clap-clap-clap*" I was even waiting for the night were everyone would throw slim jims at him.
But hey, mad respect for Bryan. He's a legit underdog in a company run by a guy with a big man fetish. |
"YES" is the new "We Want Ryder"
|
Yes?
How about they try, NO |

I'm glad danielson is finally fucking over in a way no one can argue with.

It's getting harder to fool the people, Mr. Newstead. What was once an iron curtain we couldn't look behind is now a glass house. |

LOL if the YES! Shirt is like the Ron Simmons DAMN shirt
|
Quote:
DAMN |
One night does not make "Yes" one of the most over phrases in WWE history.
|
I think the "yes" thing is boring, nowhere near as awesome as "WHAT?" Yes u cant really do IRL but "WHAT?" is mad fun to do to people in real life...as long as they dont kick your ass!

 the crowd was great yesterday.

I was merely pointing out how it's funny that just the simplest things can become huge sensations. But since we're being dicks about stuff, I think you look fat in those pants. |

A bunch of lard ass fat virgin smarks cheering mean shit all. He'll be back to getting no reaction by next week.
|
uh oh, someone needs attention again!
|
and it's not Daniel Bryan, cause he's getting plenty
|
It's 100% true. Wrestlemania crowds are horribly smarky. Nobody will give a shit in a week. They had to put AJ with him just so they could get people to remotely care.
|
Well I guess we'll just have to wait and see!
|
Nope, I've already decided that I'm correct and therefore the matter is closed. Good day sir.
|
See ya!
|
his theme should have Yes's put into it..
Yes yes yes..yes yes yes..yes yes yes.. |
Just did that as a test out loud and it could work.

Gertner has to be a closet Bryan fan. HAS to be.
Bryan is playing the same asshole character that Gertner has been playing on TPWW. |
Gertner's a closet something...
|
Dunno though.
I do think we should all wait til they're out of miami before we get too excited. Pretty awesome that there were "YES!" chants at the last miami heat game though. |
would be pretty sweet if Gertner was actually Daniel Bryan
|
D-Bri is making me more interested in WWE than Lesnar is, just to see "YES" chants.

Bryan was doing such an awesome job as a dickweed heel, and I think the smart move would have been to have him retain after screwing Sheamus over pretty badly. Sheamus continues to get built up and then takes the title when it's more of an emotional pay-off for that character. Bryan was just too good as World Champion. Fortunately for Bryan, though -- losing the World Title has turned him into about as big a sensation as anything in the WWE right now. And we're at a point where The Rock and Brock Lesnar appearances are overlapping. It sucks that heel Bryan got his heat taken away by such a silly thing, but it's gotten him white-hot reactions as a potentially marketable underdog babyface for the company (like he was last year, until they losing streak'd him). Truth be told, Bryan is in the same spot as he was last year when he won Money in the Bank, but only this time with a quirky personality. That's if the WWE allows it, of course, and doesn't Christian 2005 the guy (which I don't think they will, as they seem to like Bryan). The WWE should really jump on this "YES!" thing and put out merchandise. |
Also, since they seem to be held bi-annually now, I think Daniel Bryan is the single best candidate for a 2012 King of the Ring crown. I think you can imagine how his victory speech would go.

Sigh, him and Santino?:yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes: :nono: |
Finals could be him and tensai, tensai geting his first loss to Daniel Bryan.

Oh, damn. Are you going to take that from him, Gertie?
|
So, just out of curiousity, how long would the 'yes' thing have to be over for the doubters to acknowledge that it's over? If by the next Raw (which I'm guessing isn't in Miami) the 'yes's' continue, is it safe to say it's over?
|
For the record, I loved the 'yes' thing on Raw. Really helps you appreciate how much better a show can be with the right audience.

Doesn't even need Bryan to be on the show to stay active like how the "We Want Ryder" chants lasted for weeks during the time Ryder was barely on tv. |
DB v. Cena... people will cheer the heel and boo the face... they should run the match and STILL have DB play the heel role...
Book it... |
I was in this crowd truly amazing to be there for this and mania

SmackDown! did lull for a bit recently, but the entire format of the show changes heading into WrestleMania -- things become a bit more of a hype machine. There were times where SmackDown! was beating the 2011 average -- a year when Christian's reign, Randy Orton's reign and Mark Henry's reign all saw slight drops in television ratings. And I'm not bashing those men -- I've enjoyed them all in the past year. Your bashing of Daniel Bryan and his relationship to ratings is completely irrelevant, though. Oh, and did I mention that although CM Punk's segments often drop-off with women and children ratings-wise, his matches with Daniel Bryan would often see spikes in the ratings about equal to that Cena and Rock's segments would get (Note: Not equal viewers; equal spikes). Daniel Bryan proved to guys much smarter than you, Gertner, that he could handle being the World Heavyweight Champion and do a successful enough job at it. Not only critically, but commercially as well. That's why they didn't pull the plug on his World Heavyweight Title reign heading into WrestleMania. Oh, and let's not start the "over" discussion: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/vinR0n0xqsk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> If you are Daniel Bryan -- kudos to you, sir. You're doing a great job. |
lol ratings have not risen, what the hell are you talking about. He's been a terrible failure.

In all seriousness Gertie, I like you, and even though you're a big troll, sometimes you're pretty funny and some of your insults are pretty hilarious. But Daniel Bryan is a former World Champion. What have you done recently?

I just booked my planner at work all the way to Tuesday.

Also, Punk vs. Bryan actually earned RAW hundreds of thousands of viewers. http://www.prowrestling.net/artman/p...10023714.shtml I know the February edition of RAW in which you are talking about. The Rock's promo at the end of 27 Febuary earned a lot of viewers in the week you are talking about, but that was an overrun that actually lost more viewers than the Punk vs. Bryan match did when Cena came out. Is Cena also a terrible failure? The shows in general have had decreasing ratings in general with rare spikes, and this is with Daniel Bryan as World Champion. So to say that he is responsible when Randy Orton and John Cena can't even guarantee viewers is absolutely ridiculous. The Rock didn't even pop the Survivor Series buyrate by much. |
