A Revolution is coming to WWE?

<iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/87d3igrgv2c" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

So anyone wanna take a wager as to what the video is all about? Rumors include...

-A debuting/returning superstar
-Hype for the WWE network
-The end of the PG era???

Droford 05-09-2012 09:36 PM

a lot of it was used in the nWo's titan tronm

loopydate 05-09-2012 09:36 PM

I'm guessing either Ambrose or possibly Rollins.

Pintint 05-09-2012 09:39 PM

Tyler Reks' redebut, as "The one man revolution".

Droford 05-09-2012 09:39 PM

might have something to do with "People Power"

Droford 05-09-2012 09:40 PM

Revolution X / rX

oh wait..

Innovator 05-09-2012 09:41 PM

I'm going with Ambrose.

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-09-2012 09:41 PM

Heyman managing some guys like Ambrose or Rollins?

MoFo 05-09-2012 09:43 PM

New PPV name.

Droford 05-09-2012 09:43 PM

How many manager led stables does WWE Need, considering you have Vicki's Jackdolph and A.W. with Primpicon

Evil Vito 05-09-2012 09:46 PM

<font color=goldenrod>Really hoping for Ambrose.</font>

Supreme Olajuwon 05-09-2012 09:47 PM

I would say Ambrose, although they're usually not this vague unless it's somebody fans already know.

CSL 05-09-2012 09:51 PM

<iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/I0OK0gMGiK4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

duhhhhh. Benoit will be replaced by the ghost of Chris Kanyon.

CSL 05-09-2012 09:52 PM

and that video in the original post seems like it would be the opening of a late 90's early Saturday morning WWE TV show

St. Jimmy 05-09-2012 09:55 PM

WWE Network. It's pretty obvious.

Supreme Olajuwon 05-09-2012 09:55 PM

http://www.onlineworldofwrestling.co...douglas/03.jpg

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

maybe johnny's getting a tag partner

What Would Kevin Do? 05-09-2012 09:57 PM

That just screams Seth Rollins to me.

Although honestly, they could probably bring in Ambrose and Rollins together, letting Ambrose be the mouth piece, to help Rollins get over too.

CSL 05-09-2012 09:59 PM

just because I like to mention it at every single opportunity so that in however many years I can be like "quote", Rollins is going to get over like Jeff Hardy while working on TV for Vince

Supreme Olajuwon 05-09-2012 10:01 PM

Seth Rollins will never get over in the WWE. I'm gonna laugh at all you fat idiots who doubt me.

Supreme Olajuwon 05-09-2012 10:01 PM

Seth Rollins will get over huge in the WWE. I'm gonna laugh at all you fat idiots who doubt me.

Supreme Olajuwon 05-09-2012 10:01 PM

There. Got that covered.

What Would Kevin Do? 05-09-2012 10:04 PM

Seth Rollins will have a moderately successful career in the WWE as a midcarder.

I went with option C.

Supreme Olajuwon 05-09-2012 10:04 PM

DAMMIT

CSL 05-09-2012 10:05 PM

D/4.

Seth Rollins was found dead today. Rumours are he suffered fatal injuries in a mysterious marshmallow-related incident.

AND WHAT

What Would Kevin Do? 05-09-2012 10:06 PM

I am really curious to see what moves he will and won't be able to do.

I'm doubting we'll see the firebird splash, but who knows. Avada Kadava makes sense as a finisher, especially since no one has really used a superkick since HBK. Plus it works against everyone. God's Last Gift may be a bit too head droppy for them. Then there's his headstomp, which he beat Hero with. Not really a good finisher though.

So, all that considered, he'll probably use the old Overdrive move everyone gets stuck with.

Droford 05-09-2012 10:15 PM

Vince is bringing back the XFL

DLVH84 05-09-2012 10:42 PM

I'd say C.

Lock Jaw 05-09-2012 10:45 PM

The logo on the WWE Title will spin again. Or "Revolve", if you will. Creating a "Revolution".

Droford 05-09-2012 10:46 PM

WWE Revolution: all matches contested in a spinning ring

VSG 05-09-2012 11:00 PM

Or a round ring?

Lock Jaw 05-09-2012 11:02 PM

OUR RING HAS NO SIDES

Asmo 05-09-2012 11:20 PM

I can't see the video.

Whatever it is, be prepared to be disappointed since we're all now going to make up what we would like it to be, with no real reason. And when it turns out it's not what we hoped, disappointment will kick in.

#1-norm-fan 05-09-2012 11:47 PM

It's Jericho.

He's going to leave so he can return again.

Curd 05-10-2012 12:07 AM

Mickie James is returning to form a "tough chicks" stable with Natalya, Kharma, and Beth Phoenix. This will be the "Feminist Era" of WWE.

Lock Jaw 05-10-2012 12:08 AM

It's Sting.

Keith 05-10-2012 12:09 AM

Sting's coming to WWE again?

#1-norm-fan 05-10-2012 02:30 AM

Revolution is an anagram for "U R Violent"

It's the return of ECW.

Wishbone 05-10-2012 02:41 AM

You're all dumb it's obviously the re-debut of the Shock Master

#BROKEN Hasney 05-10-2012 03:24 AM

#BROKEN Hasney 05-10-2012 03:25 AM

MoFo 05-10-2012 04:13 AM

WWE Network hype.....

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-10-2012 08:20 AM

I don't want the WWE Network hyped until they have some sort of a tentative deal in place.

More. I want another stable war, like in the attitude era.

Nowhere Man 05-10-2012 10:33 AM

It's probably just a hype package for a new or revamped superstar. However, part of me is kind of hoping 'Revolution X' might be WWE giving another shot at a third, 'extreme' brand, trying ECW again but with their own brand name instead. Unlikely, but still......

Sepholio 05-10-2012 10:40 AM

Ending the brand split.

PrettyCool 05-10-2012 10:44 AM

watch it end up being something stupid like "Darren Grabson" the one man revolution
(repackaged Kurt Hawkins)

Big Vic 05-10-2012 10:57 AM

I would be cool if it was a stable of released stars coming back to get revenge on Laurinitus.

For instance the stable is led by John Morrison along with, Shelton, Haas, and possibly someone else.

Shadrick 05-10-2012 03:15 PM

They're going to do away with the ring completely. All wrestling from now on will be held in a pool.

RVD is gonna return and the "Five Star Frog Splash" is gonna set the WWE ablaze with overness.

Xero 05-10-2012 03:30 PM

This reminds me of a TNA logo for some reason.

Volare 05-10-2012 03:35 PM

Looks like TV footage of war...

OMG RAW IS WARZZZ!!!1!1

Xero 05-10-2012 03:36 PM

"The show has always been Monday Night RAW."

kareru 05-10-2012 03:38 PM

im going to give the same answer i did for 'zomg endz of da wurld 2012'

vince returning with an nWo or nWo-like stable

kareru 05-10-2012 03:39 PM

im bound to be right one of these days

Xero 05-10-2012 03:41 PM

Could be that Cruiserweight gimmick they have lined up.

BizarroKing 05-10-2012 03:42 PM

I'd like to add the possibility about the return of Braden Walker...why not?

TSI 05-10-2012 03:48 PM

Could it have something to do with Linda's political career? I read somewhere where they were going to be more agressive against the "liberal media".

Emperor Smeat 05-10-2012 04:39 PM

Leaning towards a new show or the WWE Network itself.

Could have been interesting if it was used for the debut of the Kings of Wrestling tag team as a way to rehype the tag division but the WWE broke them up.

Xero 05-10-2012 04:46 PM

WWE is actually extending the RAW tapings from 30-45 minutes before airing to 90 minutes before airing. Might be a new show.

addy2hotty 05-10-2012 05:25 PM

The revolution is actually Vince McMahon.

IT WAS ME AUSTIN, IT WAS ME ALL ALONG.

YOU ALL BOUGHT IT. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU BOUGHT IT.

Heisenberg 05-10-2012 05:29 PM

Whatever it is, it can't be as good as WWE scrambling to get Holograms of dead wrestlers to perform at a later PPV.

XL 05-10-2012 05:59 PM

So, where/when did this air? Can't see any reference to WWE in the video.

Blakeamus 05-10-2012 06:10 PM

Disappointed if it's infact for the WWE Network
Surprised if it's infact Ambrose or Rollins
Pretty sure it will be a new show...

So honestly, who is this Dean Ambrose? I've read the wiki about him and seen some of his stuff on youtube, but what makes him soo "Revolutionary"?

Lock Jaw 05-10-2012 11:28 PM

Dunno, but I maintain he is a waste of space until he gets an actual Dean gimmick.

Mr. Nerfect 05-11-2012 04:44 AM

It could be a new show. I would mark out if it was Dean Ambrose and possibly Seth Rollins.

NXT Revolution

Vince's campaign ad for Romney?

nolanve 05-12-2012 07:58 PM

Return of the cruiser weights perhaps? Just a thought.

Shisen Kopf 05-12-2012 08:02 PM

It's also an anagram of "evil on tour". Kane's gonna debut with a welding mask. Oh wait.

Mr. Nerfect 05-12-2012 08:28 PM

I still think the idea of bringing back cruiserweights is a terrible one. Right now, you have two cruiserweights feuding over the WWE Title.

Aerosmith will not thank WWE for the incidental rise in retro gamers emulating the ROM copy of the "Revolution X' video game.

I mean, they had the "Stand Up for WWE" campaign, which was all about helping Linda back in 2010. So, who knows if they come up with something else?

Or if they start airing Linda campaign ads in their programming? Could they do that? Would it be legal?

Legal or not, I aint standing up for their political campaigns, they can take that shit to the backroom. Isn't being stupid-wealthy enough for those fucking Mcmahons?

Probably has nothing to do with this "Revolution" thing, but:

Damndirty 05-19-2012 10:15 AM

That would be cool if it is. If anybody could lead one, it's Paul E Dangerously.

ace3025 05-19-2012 10:36 AM

This Sunday Punk saves Laurinaitius from Cena. He is "fired" for a week or 2 and during that time heyman wins his "lawsuit". Heyman gains legal control of Raw as part of his settlement and reinstates punk and brings lesnar back as a hired gun to protect him.

The revolution beings with a heyman supported punk, with laurinaitis now behind him as well, maybe break Dolph away from Vicki, all with lesnar as backup

VSG 05-21-2012 03:46 PM

Apparently will be revealed next Monday, May 28
