TPWW Survivor Season 6

<font color=goldenrod>Skippord took advantage of the four selections he had for Season 5, with Alberto Del Rio and Brodus Clay surviving until the end before the contest was ruled a draw. He's back to 2 selections this go-around.

Simple rules:
-Everybody selects somebody from the list, no duplicates allowed.
-Your wrestler is eliminated if they are pinned or submit during a match on Raw, SmackDown, NXT, Superstars, or PPV. Disqualifications and count outs do not cause elimination. In tag team matches, only the person who is pinned or submits is out.
-Your wrestler will also be eliminated if they go three weeks without having a televised match for any reason whatsoever (injury, future endeavors, etc.). There is a constant countdown going on from your wrestler's last match, so even if bad luck happens to them - you can still potentially win as long as everyone else loses in that span.

The game (and start of the countdown) will begin on Monday, June 11th.

Winning wrestlers must sit out 3 seasons before returning. Wade Barrett and John Cena are both unselectable for having won seasons 3 and 4, respectively. Additionally, Alberto Del Rio and Brodus Clay are both out for having been declared co-winners of Season 5.

For winning Season 5, Skippord has selected <b>Ryback</b> and <b>Damien Sandow</b>. Will WWE's repetitive, perpetual squash booking propel Skippord to a third straight Survivor win? That remains to be seen.

Sign ups are on a first come, first serve basis. Please read the thread before picking so there are no duplicates.

Skippord is just gonna win this one again with Ryback.

Evil Vito 06-09-2012 11:57 PM

<font color=goldenrod>If Skippord wins for the third time in a row, I'll probably just have to enshrine him in the TPWW Survivor Hall of Fame and pass the baton on to somebody else.</font> :o

Cool King 06-10-2012 12:04 AM

Though how did Skippord manage to choose Ryback & Sandow?

Iginfest was the first guy to reply to the thread with Sin Cara, but even then, it was already down as Skippord selecting Ryback & Sandow.

If it's a case of "Winner get's first pick(s)" then that kind of makes no sense that the winner get's the better chance of winning the next season as they get to choose first, so in a case like now, with Ryback & Sandow, it's quite obvious their streaks are going to last for a long time, mostly Ryback's.

So when/if Skippord wins again, he'll get another first pick at the roster and choose someone with an obvious upcoming winning streak such as Ryback, Sandow or even Cena or Punk, and then it just keeps going in circles, with Skippord constantly winning. :-\

#1-norm-fan 06-10-2012 12:08 AM

Yeah, the Ryback factor was not thought of when this game was created I'm guessing. Even with Punk, he's far from an obvious choice since he loses a lot (He's lost to Kane and Daniel Bryan in the last few weeks alone). Ryback is pretty much a lock though.

Lock Jaw 06-10-2012 12:19 AM

Unless he gets injured or the whole angle is to establish some random jobber who will come outta nowhere and beat him.

RP 06-10-2012 12:38 AM

I don't know who this is, but I'll take Camacho

<font color=goldenrod>To be fair, there were no mammoth winning streaks going on during the first four seasons. There were guys who were kept strong longer than others, but nobody who was a mortal lock to win every week. Then midway through season 4 you had Brodus (who had already been 3 week rule'd) and soon enough Tensai, Ryback, and others burst onto the scene.

Forcing guys to sit out 3 seasons was my way to try and safeguard against long winning streaks. Unfortunately with WWE's recent obsession with constant squashes there isn't much that can be done. The longer Season 6 goes, the better the chance Ryback ends up losing his first match because you just never know when Vince will tire of something.</font>

Or perhaps one pick in advance and a second by posting.
