The forgotten wrestlers List
I'll start the list by adding 3.
1. Jimmy Wang Yang - He was pretty unforgettable like most of the midcard guys from Smackdown in around 06-09. He will also go down as one of the worst gimmicks in WWE history. 2. Muhammad Hassan - This guy was pretty unforgettable in my books and the only thing some of you might remember him from would be if you played Day of Reckoning 2 and he was the first to come out about stealing the wwe title. 3. Joey Mercury - He will only be remembered as that one guy who was tag team partners with John Morrison. Jimmy Wang Yang https://encrypted-tbn1.google.com/im...VY1VlDT_xzNq_V Muhammad Hassan https://encrypted-tbn2.google.com/im...6Rmxvawb3-Xutg Joey Mercury https://encrypted-tbn2.google.com/im...QfHo6_pe_Js_bg http://cdn.bleacherreport.net/images...jpg?1310185123 http://prorasslin.files.wordpress.co...erry-flynn.jpg kenny kaos http://www.puroresucentral.com/Images2/kaos.jpg Post pictures and i'll add to the list. |

People still talk about Hassan here quite often. Wouldn't say he's 'forgotten'.

I can't remember any

1. ALLALALALALLAALAEYYYYAIA!!!!!!!!!!!!
2. Joey Mercury is also remembered for having his face destroyed in a ladder match in a match with the Hardyz. Not even the biggest disaster he was involved in with Jeff Hardy... 3. On topic, I'll post a picture... http://cdn.bleacherreport.net/images...jpg?1270508523 |

Stone Cold Steve Austin I'll bet nobody remembers that old hack. :shifty:
|
On a serious note though... um... Gunner Scott?
|
Just Joe
|
Nobody is forgotten because there is one of these threads every so often in which the same guys are always mentioned.

Seth cheating to win
|
Nobody Seth posted is "forgetten", they're just irrelevant to the landscape of wrestling as a whole. I could pull names of the posters for local events here in the UK and herald them as "forgotten" when really they are no-marks who leave no legacy behind them.

Congrats...but ALOT of them probably are. I'd venture a guess that most posting here probably don't have the slightest as to who they were which means they can't be forgotten.
|
Quote:
sadly most today don't care for what came before they started watching and they'll all be forgotten once we historians die off |

Just don't want you to think I dislike your enjoyment of old ass wrestlers. I just hate their large ass pictures you post. |

Dutch Mantell was the human ape before anyone had heard of Albert.

I remember Tokyo Magnum came down the ramp and tore his clothes off like Party Boy. It was funny!
|
Oh, speaking of parties, gotta throw this guy in the mix!

I remember back in '97 or whenever it was that a lot of these guys were on WCW TV, and since I was only nine or ten years-old, they all seemed like huge legendary wrestlers to me.
If I saw Mike Enos on WCW TV just one time in 1997, I probably spent the next few months thinking he was a super famous megastar, and wondering what happened to him. Good times. :( |

If you didn't, you probably never knew them in the first place. Translation: They are forgotten. :shifty: |

Maybe you should start a thread entitled "Wrestlers You've Never Heard Of Because They Are Irrelevant To The Bigger Picture Of Professional Wrestling History", instead of trying to shoehorn in your "history lesson" here? |
Anyone else see that ghost walk though post #43 just now?
|
Lol anyone remember this guy.

Do the former alter egos of today's wrestlers count as forgotten wrestlers?

Add 95% of the WWE roster from 2008-2012 in there - and you're good to go.

Are some of you guys actually wrestling fans?

Lenny Lane (photo above) looks like a poor man's Chris Jericho.
Also I would like to add to the list Chuck Palumbo. |
Quote:
I remember when he came out in the motorcycle with michelle mccool and before that chuck and billy with billy gunn. |
This is the worst thread ever. It would be alright on a darts forum or something and people were like "Lol try and name some obscure wrestlers for a laugh" and people would be like "ha remember The Godfather? rofllllllllll" But on a wrestling forum, which you would assume mostly contains people who have a pretty big interest in wrestling, there aren't really many "forgotten" people. The likes of Chuck Palumbo and Billy Kidman are getting mentioned For FakeLaser's Sake.

I'm actually having fun looking at pix and remembering people I totally forgot existed. :wavesad::wavesad: |
Seriously makes be wonder how many people here actually played WCW/nWO Revenge before proclaiming it the best wrestling gang evar!
If you played that game you know who Sick Boy is. And Kidman. And even Reese. What exactly is the criteria to be listed as a "forgetten wrestler" anyway? |
I take it as people who were obviously on TV and could even have been famous for a short time but who have slipped into obscurity and lost from most peoples recent memory.

I remember when WCW had those hardly noticeable shows on where it was nothing but jobbers fighting... the only thing is that most of those jobbers turned out to be WWE midcarders and main eventers later in life.

Prince Iaukea AKA The Artist Formerly Known as Prince Iaukea AKA The Artist. And who else forgot the Paisley his valet was Sharmell, Booker T's wife. I liked this character and the gimmick. Plus his second rope jumping ddt finisher was pretty innovative at that time in WCW's demise |
