I'm in the minority because...

Basically complete the title of the sentence with something wrestling related.

E.g. I'm in the minority because I actually like Kane's new attire and masked character.

Corporate CockSnogger 07-05-2012 10:08 AM

...because I'm pretty sick of the whole "Yes!" thing.

legendkillerRKO 07-05-2012 10:32 AM

I could care less about Wade Barrett

Hanso Amore 07-05-2012 10:46 AM

Because there is only one of me and many other people.

Kapoutman 07-05-2012 11:02 AM

...because I despise Randy Orton.

Unless it has become a majority thing in the last few weeks.

Double D 07-05-2012 11:12 AM

...because I think Mickie James > AJ. She was the best crazy chick :D

St. Jimmy 07-05-2012 11:14 AM

I like actual wrestling

Curtis Anderson 07-05-2012 11:29 AM

I think Chris Masters should of been WWE champion by now and that he should come back to face The Undertaker at Wrestlemania. Unbroken Masterlock streak vs Undefeated Wrestlemania strak could be really epic.

dronepool 07-05-2012 11:46 AM

I don't care for Ryback.

Gertner 07-05-2012 11:55 AM

I value respect, honour, integrity and the fighting spirit over the PG Kiddie shit that Vince McMahon shoves down our throats

4 knuckles up 07-05-2012 11:58 AM

I liked the bubba ray stutter when they first debuted in the E, and didnt like that it was dropped.

Nark Order 07-05-2012 01:09 PM

The "Money in the Bank" match destroyed professional wrestling.

I cant stand watching diva's/knockouts/w.e wrestle, (only bc i find it UBERLY boring) AND I thought the E's hardcore title was worthless, and hated it the entire time it existed.

AND the current angle with CRAZY AJ does less than nothing for me.

I think the Undertaker and Kane are extremely overrated on these forums.

Nowhere Man 07-05-2012 01:26 PM

At the height of the Monday Night War, I vastly preferred WCW to WWF (though most of that had to do with the fact that I was 11 and had a strict 9PM bedtime, so I couldn't stay up to watch the main events, and WCW's midcard was way better than WWF's)

He just sounds to me like the kind of guy who started watching wrestling in 1998 and has just been fed whatever WWE says on TV ever since.

Not sure he's "fishy", but definitely naive. Or slow, if you want to be rude.

Mr. Nerfect 07-06-2012 10:42 AM

I'm also not sold on Ryback. I don't know what it is -- I just don't care about the dude. I preferred him as Skip Sheffield in the Nexus, when he was intense but was sort of like a real person and had a reason to be so angry and fighting against the world.

I never really got on board with Rob Van Dam or The Rock, either. I also didn't care much for Chris Jericho until around late 2004.

I'm also in the minority because I really think Heath Slater is brilliant. I'm not even exaggerating. He "gets it," and I don't know how to explain that to people who don't already know what I am talking about. The dude can sprint to the top rope and do moonsaults and that sort of shit; but he doesn't do it every match, because that would not make sense. He's got good ring psychology, I guess.

I also believe that Primo should be a future World Champion. The dude can wrestle and he's got personality there that just isn't tapped into. I'm not sure about Epico.

Mr. Nerfect 07-06-2012 10:53 AM

I'm also in the minority because I believe that a load of cash can be made off Sin Cara still, and that although I think Hunico is the most underrated dude working for the WWE (especially now that Tyson Kidd is getting something resembling a push), I absolutely cannot stand his pre-match promos and current gimmick.

JKWJRMON 07-06-2012 11:22 AM

I dont come on this site a few days before a PPV and Monday night Raw cos i do not want a rumour, possible storyline or surprise guest to be revealed. Esp in the lead up to the 1000th edition of Raw. Marked out like hell when DDP came out last week. I dunno if there was any whispers or rumours about his appearance but am glad i didnt know about it

Emperor Smeat 07-06-2012 05:24 PM

Yeah, I've got to confess to not being a major Randy Orton fan, either. If he never appeared for the WWE again I wouldn't really feel like anything was gone. And yes, I am aware that he is one of the best at what he does -- I just don't really give a shit. :-\

That being said, I'd probably mark out like a little bitch if he went to Impact Wrestling as a major heel.

i don't like spending hours writing out a storyline that didn't actually happen, or posting my opinions on "what's best for the business."

Keith 07-07-2012 12:08 AM

I'm in the minority because I feel RVD was nothing special. Just a big fish in a small pond (ECW), and was led by the hand by Paul Heyman (even Paul himself admitted in an OTR interview that since ECW was smaller than WWF or WCW, he could lead his wrestlers by the hand).

Kane Knight 07-07-2012 03:38 AM

I think CM Punk could be replaced by a pushbroom, and the only difference would be that the broom would smell better.

I am in the minority because I think pro wrestling is not as good as it used to be in (era when I started watching)

Mr. Nerfect 07-07-2012 11:12 PM

Show Off wasn't just talking about how he likes Josh Mathews and Matt Striker, but that he thinks they are the future. If you have been paying attention recently, both Josh Mathews and Matt Striker have had their roles on television decreased instead of increased. Striker went from being SmackDown's color analyst and calling PPV to calling one hour of recap show programming a week. Mathews is still on SmackDown, but with Michael Cole dialling back his act, Mathews has not been necessary on RAW or PPV, and seems to be still on SmackDown because Michael Cole and Booker T would make a shitty commentary team by themselves.

If I had to predict, I would say that Matt Striker will sadly get released before he gets the chance to replace either Jerry Lawler or Booker T as a major voice in the WWE, and I think William Regal would get the shot before him. Mathews has got a far better chance (the dude does like four hours of commentary a week, minimum), but seems to lack the dynamic that Michael Cole has, and I just could not see him at the main desk instead of Michael Cole.

Fox 07-08-2012 01:12 AM

- I think Jack Evans is one of the best workers in the indies today and that if WWE or TNA picked him up that he could be a massive star. I think that he's grown up from his true spot monkey days, has become a much more well-rounded wrestler, and that his high-flying, gravity breaking, death-defying moves would make him the most watched, marketable and talked about performers in the wrestling industry since Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero.

- I think that the Undertaker/Triple H HIAC match is extremely overrated.

- I think that the entirety of CM Punk's push has been orchestrated by Triple H and others in his clique in a very particular way to kill the momentum he had going for him last summer, and that they have succeeded in keeping him from becoming a major breakout star.

I disagree that CM Punk's push has been orchestrated to "kill his momentum." I think that the WWE would be as happy to make as much money off CM Punk as possible. When you look at it, CM Punk has had the incredible position of getting to be the "top guy" without having the pressure of needing to draw placed onto him. That's something that John Cena has continued doing despite not being champion.

That being said, I do think that CM Punk's push coming out of SummerSlam and beyond was a bit warped. The story between CM Punk and Triple H seemed so rushed, and somehow something that was about CM Punk ushering in change became about Triple H losing his job and feuding with Kevin Nash (who no one gave a fuck about sadly). I do believe that the WWE tried very briefly to get Punk's momentum behind John Cena and Triple H during this time, and that The Miz and R-Truth were given the "renegade" deal that seemed a natural fit for Punk at the time. But I wouldn't call it sabotage.
