Just read this. I didn't even realize he was still in the hospital from his heart attack back in July. Very sad day. RIP MCD.

Damn. Been meaning to watch The Green Mile again some time too, will probably put it on tonight now. RIP :(

They were all big years ago. None of them are relevant today.

Griffith had his own show, "The Andy Griffith Show" in the '60s, and later went on to star as lawyer Ben Matlock on "Matlock".

Clark hosted the $25,000 and $100,000 (as well as other varying amounts) Pyramid shows of the '70s and '80s.

Dawson was the originator of Family Feud and hosted it from '76-'85 and came back for an ill-fated 1-hour version that ran from '94-'95.

So there ya go. :)

MCD was once Tupac's bodyguard and was set to be with him the night of his murder but switched with another bodyguard and guarded Babyface that night instead.

Dawson also did comedy and acted on Hogan's Heroes long before ever appearing on Match Game or hosting FF, Clark did American Bandstand and the annual New Year's Rockin' Eve, so maybe Clark isn't what you'd call an actor per se, but he did more than just host game shows.

He also hosted dance show and hosted New Years Eve shows..
