itsmeJD 09-03-2012 07:04 PM

Just read this. I didn't even realize he was still in the hospital from his heart attack back in July. Very sad day. RIP MCD.

Awful. :( R.I.P

Keith 09-03-2012 10:29 PM

He was a guy who, when you saw him in interviews (especially late night shows), he came across as such a great person, a guy who'd be a genuine delight to talk to, no matter his fame and all the money he earned.

Fuck. Still can't believe this.

Crazy Nick 09-03-2012 10:50 PM

Unreal... R.I.P

Raven Reaper 09-03-2012 11:03 PM

He was like Ving Rhames' dead ringer.

DLVH84 09-03-2012 11:37 PM

Another great actor gone. He was great in "The Green Mile", and the "Planet of the Apes" reboot.

They were all big years ago. None of them are relevant today.

Griffith had his own show, "The Andy Griffith Show" in the '60s, and later went on to star as lawyer Ben Matlock on "Matlock".

Clark hosted the $25,000 and $100,000 (as well as other varying amounts) Pyramid shows of the '70s and '80s.

Dawson was the originator of Family Feud and hosted it from '76-'85 and came back for an ill-fated 1-hour version that ran from '94-'95.

So there ya go. :)

I fail to see how that makes them "actors".

Wehttam 09-04-2012 01:32 PM

CSL 09-04-2012 02:21 PM

MCD was once Tupac's bodyguard and was set to be with him the night of his murder but switched with another bodyguard and guarded Babyface that night instead.

True story.

RIP

Dawson also did comedy and acted on Hogan's Heroes long before ever appearing on Match Game or hosting FF, Clark did American Bandstand and the annual New Year's Rockin' Eve, so maybe Clark isn't what you'd call an actor per se, but he did more than just host game shows.

Kris P Lettus 09-04-2012 03:08 PM

He also hosted dance show and hosted New Years Eve shows..

Gertner 09-04-2012 03:26 PM

Krispy's wife is fat
