Yeah the stuff about Pope and his status seems a bit odd considering there are way more powerful gangs and cartels that would easily dwarf his own power, money, and men.
It makes it seem like he's the mafia boss of the city when he's just a rich gang leader. |

Opie dying was certainly tragic, but you could also see it coming when he and Jax were sitting in that cell. The only REAL problem I have with the death is that Op never found out that Tig killed Donna, and that he should have been the one to skin the guy alive. |
Miotch - Not sure how you missed it but Opie knew for years. Tig flat out confessed and Opie accepted that it was Stahl who forced it. Then when he killed Stahl he said "this is how Donna felt"

I was having a conversation about all of this with someone today, and especially how much I want to see Tig get his. They made a comment about how he is such a great character because he plays the bad guy so well, and I agree. As much as I hate him there's a need for that element in shows like this. You need to have characters you truly hate.

I thought he eventually got punished for killing Opie's girl and starting the war with the Niners by loosing his #2 or Sergent-at-Arms rank in the club once Jax took over.
Tig probably will get a very nasty ending considering the line Jax says that Tig now has to do everything he demands and then once done, he'll just toss him in the bin like his daughter was. |

Tig lost Master At Arms because he was Clays guy and Jax wanted to start over.
Jax is coming to find how hard being the leader is. He thought he was going to change things and start a new day with his VP as opie. Best buds running the club. Well that didnt happen... Jax is losing allies quick. Piney is dead, Opie is dead. He has Bobby and Chibs. Now he controls tig but he isnt loyal. Tig's loyalty resides, or at least did reside with Clay until clay lied and started this all. But Juice seems to be Clays lapdog and Im thinking the new members are loyal to Clay as well. |
