Londrick and it's not even close.
not a huge fan of Kingston..... not even close for me.....
Easy winner. I hate little jimmy.
I quite liked both London and Kendrick. I like R-Truth but not really into Kingston and haven't seen much of their run as a team so went with London and Kendrick.
London and Kendrick. They had a great run back in 2006 (I think that's when it was), but they also looked like a tag team, which R-Truth and Kingston, who I like, still reek of two singles guys thrown together.
The Hooligans all the way ...
Is this Juanctioned?
not even close
Never liked the combo of R-Truth & Kofi so Londrick it is.
I miss Air Boom.
Yeah, I definitely think Paul London and Brian Kendrick were the better team. They had a great reign as WWE Tag Team Champions and they were a great high flying tandem. I also think the feud with MNM was one of the better tag team feuds. I think a match with Kofi Kingston and R-Truth would be a good match though.
This one's getting close.
I thought you were just gonna pick up where I left off?
London and Kendrick
London and Kendrick easily. Kofi and truth have overstayed their welcome as a team.
Londrick Kendon gets my vote.

Also a little surprise at the landslide victory, guess I underestimated Londrick's popularity.
Seriously thought Kingston and Truth would make it a little more competitive. They're becoming more of a "legit" tag team. I actually had to think about this for a second.
You aren't a legit tag team until you wear matching outfits.
Killer Bees, now THAT would give London/Kendrick some problems....B Brian Blair bitches...

Please instruct me to said loophole. The fact that R-Truth and Kofi aren't considered a legit tag team is evidence enough that matching tights are required. Also, see Black Cena and Titus, a legit looking African American tag team, the Prime Time Playas.
R-truth and Kofi are certainly a legit tag team.
Jumpin' Jimmys
False. They will go their separate ways as soon as they drop the tag belts to Daniel Bryan and Kane. Hell they don't even have a TEAM name. They are as legit as Kane and Rob Van Dam were.

Dun dun DUNNNNNN |
but they had MATCHING GEAR! You must have, one, the other, or BOTH! Color of skin is not considered the same gear, otherwise, all teams are legit.

I'm unable to view that photo due to format I suppose. At work. What's it of so I may make up another reason as to why the two singles wrestlers aren't a team.

Matching t-shirts. Also had a name...the New Age Outlaws...one, the other, or both.

For example, I can consider Air Boom for reasons stated above.

So would you consider Jeri-Show more of a tag team than Miz and Morrison?
http://images4.fanpop.com/image/phot...93-330-339.jpgAlso....I counter your image, with an image.
I see complete darkness. I agree. Tag team.
It was an image of Miz and Morrsion in matching gear.
Did they wear matching gear at some point? But you just said you don't consider them a tag team...
You know who else wore matching gear at some point...

I don't. They only did it once. Was just fucking around because it was the only one I could find at the moment.
But seriously. Would you consider Jeri-Show to be more of a tag team than Miz and Morrison and Truth and Kofi?

But Jeri-Show had a team name...
They even matched a lot. Covering both of your requirements for a legit tag team.
Are yo....ere? #1-w....can y...hear....m...
Connection bad.......I'll ca....ou..later..... *Dialtone* |
In all seriousness, if you go by my rules of tag teams you WOULD have to consider JeriShow a tag team.
Same for the 2-man power trip, or whatever Austin and Trips were calling themselves, though again, that was more angle than long term tag teaming.
Two Dudes with Attitudes
kinda groooooovyyy...(sorry california dreams popped in my head when I read that)
I am of the belief you need a team name/matching attire, one or the other to be a certified legit tag team and not two singles guys tossed together for little reason.
Point is, it's a subjective "feel" thing as opposed to something you throw two rules on. You either feel like Kofi and Truth have established themselves as a legit team or you don't. I don't buy the idea that they can randomly come up with a name as a team and suddenly everything changes because of how they're announced.

Their names go together perfectly. Charlie was even named with the intention of teaming with Cactus. No team name though, no matching attire and they weren't exactly thrown together for no reason.

I think we grew up watching the same era. And tag teams didn't always have at least one of those 2 rules. There may have been more tag teams that did but there were also still a lot who didn't.
Remember Owen Hart and Yokozuna? So fucking random. lol
lol, they were random, and I fucking hated that. That was around the time they began getting away from the "team" concept. You had Smoking Gunns, New Rockers, New Blackjacks, etc and then fucking Yoko and Owen.
Quote:
They even made Greg Valentine dye his hair black and dress like a fucktard to team with HTM. |
Yoko and Owen were random, but they were 2 time tag champs and defended their titles against multiple teams. Even though they were random do you consider them a tag team ?
Even before that though, you also had former tag team champions Sparky Plugg and The 1-2-3 Kid.
Same era, mid 90's. 95/96. I zoned out during that era because it was atrocious lol. I was referring more to the 80's WWF.
How do you feel it effects the "legit tag team" label if the two guys have a common manager?

I'm enjoying this dialogue by the way.

So would you consider The Colossal Connection ( Haku and Andre) a team then ?
Yes, see: official Tag Team name.
To elaborate: They were originally just members of the Heenan family, however, they formed a team and had a team name, hence, they became a tag team. Eventually Heenan would abandon Andre and Andre turned, ending the team. |
Quote:
No. They did not have a team name. They were just Yoko and Owen who were teaming because Cornette managed them both.
The missing element? Team name.
They could have gone with Camp Cornette which was the stable name, but that would have to involve there not being a stable and Vader and Bulldog having to "kick rocks".
