Who would you like to see go in the HOF next year?
I guess my list would be
Mic Foley JBL Andy Kauffman Demolition Sable The Brooklyn Brawler Larry Zybsko |
Isn't Zybsko in the dog house right now? Don't remember why.
Love to see Vader go in, Bigelow as well. |
Sid Vicious, and have him give a crazy ass speech.

Andy Kaufman is always the first to come to mind.
|
Bushwhackers
|
Oh, and why Bob Backlund isn't in it already, I have no idea. He's obviously on good terms with the company. Makes no sense.
|
The Honky Tonk Man
The Ultimate Warrior The Macho Man The British Bulldog Owen Hart Andy Kaufman |
Billy Gunn
Jeff Jarrett Test Buff Bagwell Kronik |
Macho
Warrior Vader Bastian Fuckin Booger! Barry Horowitz! <-- Winner right there |

Barry Horowitz. Let's get the campaign started.

Pretty sure Kaufman will be the celebrity as King almost died..... not to sound mean, but it's true..... other than that.... the usual suspects..... Randy Savage, "Ravishing" Rick Rude, British Bulldog, Mick Foley, Vader, Sammartino.....

Ultimate Warrior
Rick Rude Harlem Heat Chyna Mr T |
I know he's a bit mental but i've never really heard anyone say anything bad about him, figured maybe he'd knocked it back. Wasn't there some else saying they'd refuse because of Drew Carey getting in before them? Mr T maybe?

Don't they have some rule whereby only one deceased person per year goes in?
If I had to pick, I'd go for... Mick Foley as the star attraction (because honestly, is there anyone else who could *realistically* go in as the main 'draw' for the event ala Austin, Edge, Hogan etc in years past?) Slick (Jimmy Hart and Bobby Heenan are in...the Slickster was incredibly entertaining back in the day when every heel wrestler had a manager..he deserves to be in, surely:) Bob Backlund (cos he's Bob Friggin Backlund) Sid (I'd put Sid in before Vader simply because he accomplished more in his WWF/E career and this is a WWE event) Demolition (no explination needed) I *would* have said put Sable in there..Sunny is in after all and with Brock back in the company you'd have to imagine things could be worked out between his wife and WWE..*But* most of Sable's most memorable moments involved getting her tits out..how would they explain that in the ulta-pg modern WWE? |

think Screech just won the whole internet tbh lads
|
something about using the words lad/lads around Americans/online that is quite satisfying as opposed to using or hearing it in real life, where it makes me want to bludgeon the perpetrator
|
ya hearing lad out loud is no good

scousers are exempt tbf, haven't you lot been saying lad forever? Like it's almost Liverpool folklore. The influx over the last few years of seemingly every non-scouse male under 30 going out of their way to uncomfortably fit it into sentences tho, ruck time
|
Yeahh I think the average LPS (Lad Per Sentence, which is the official measurement of "Lads" according to Ye Olde Oxford English Dictionary) in Liverpool is like a solid 8.7 or so.

Thank you for posting that exact DLVH84 quote, CSL. I was hoping he could elaborate more on the little known WWF run Mr. Jaggers had. Despite my official title as the WWF's #1 fan, I will need a hand in the proper info to make my bullet points for the Bobby Jaggers HOF petition to send to Vince McMahon himself.

Warrior. He went to Africa, layed down and was trampled by raging elephants. What else can there be?

I say the same thing every year and I'm shocked he hasn't been mentioned already in this thread: Jake Roberts

Foley is my headliner this year
Any of these guys would be good this year or the next couple of years: Vader Kevin Nash Doink (Matt Osborne obviously) Billy Gunn Bob Backlund Ken Shamrock I feel like there are an excessive number of unfortunately deceased wrestlers who could go in, in any given year, many who have died fairly recently, mostly prematurely. Savage Owen Test Bam Bam Bigelow Big Boss Man Andy Kaufman |

The Honky Tonk Man has been asked for years now to go into WWE Hall of Fame, but he does what he does for money, and the money offered by WWE isn't good enough for him, and there is also a no complete clause for like 90 days in the contract after being inducted in the Hall of Fame and that would screw up Honky's independent bookings. Honky also feels he's too active in wrestling to be in the Hall of Fame.
Too active....ha. Is barely moving in a wrestling ring and doing half-ass wrestling moves that a teenager could do better really being "active in wrestling"? |
Celebrity - Andy Kaufmann inducted by Jerry Lawler and Jim Carey
Mick Foley - Inducted by Terry Funk Diamond Dallas Page - Inducted by Goldberg Bob Backlund - Inducted by Bret Hart The Steiner Brothers - Inducted by Jim Ross |
No Jim Carrey. Just Lawler. He was the one who made him famous.

I agree though - HTM is a no-talent hack and is like a whore - He only does what he does for money and he does a very half-ass job in the ring. I'd still like to see him in the WWE Hall of Fame just cause it amuses how when he is on good terms with Vince he is an even bigger whore then usual, but when he is not on good terms, he bad mouths them like a crack whore. |
yeah, Honky is full of shit. He'd go into the HOF tomorrow if they asked him, putting "WWE Hall of Famer" on posters for shows that he's on means he can ask for more cash money
