<font color=goldenrod>I know it's cliché to say, but I really am feeling a Cena win tonight. It's been a long time since there was a multiple time winner, and of the guys that have won it multiple times (Hogan, HBK, Austin), Cena seems to be the only guy that they'd want to be in the same company as them when promoting future Rumbles.

I don't think Cena NEEDS to win, because he's one of the few guys on the roster who can simply be plugged into the WWE Title match at WrestleMania regardless because he's John Cena. But they really haven't hyped anybody else up as a favorite.</font>

After Cena's boring ass promo from last Monday all their plans for him winning should have been shelved.

<font color=goldenrod>If somebody else does win the Rumble by some chance, Orton or Ziggler or somebody, the winner will surely be going for the World Heavyweight Title at WM again. Cena going for the WWE Title is a foregone conclusion, it's just a matter of how they choose to get to that point.</font>

Boring wasn't the word I would have used, but it is much more "family friendly" than the word I would have used.

Still want them to just have a random wtf winner, just something they can cast up when they go on about how how anyone can win it. Bo Dallas for example.

Or Kofi/Wade/someone realistic.

One of the Uso's or Darren Young or someone should win it, make it a random member of a tag team.

This is exactly how I feel too, unfortunately. I can't really see a surprise winner tonight. Unless it's maybe The Rock after losing to Punk.

I want something weird Alberto Del Rio enters the Rumble, but somehow gets knocked out cold. Ziggler runs his ass down with another ref during the rumble and we have a new World Champion during the actual Royal Rumble.

I'd be down with Punk vs Kofi or Barrett vs Del Rio but neither of those matches would be considered much of a draw at least not this year.

This is a weird Rumble.

1. Everyone seems to think Punk is going to drop the title to the Rock...but if its going to be Punk/Rock at mania, it would be heel chasing the face? Maybe Cena wins the rumble and its Cena/Rock, but where does Punk go after that? Surely they wouldn't waste the Rumble win on a heel opponent for a limpdick match with Del Rio.

2. If Cena doesn't win the Rumble, who else makes sense? Ziggler has the briefcase, so no. Barrett, IC Champ, no. Ryback maybe, but I don't think he's ready to headline Mania. Won't be the Miz. Won't be Sheamus. Strangely it seems like Kane or Daniel Bryan could make sense, but that would mean probably dropping the titles earlier in the night. Or Team Hell No break up for a match at the next PPV.

Hate to say it, but all signs seem to point to a Cena win. You could argue Orton, but why...it just doesn't make much sense. I know they have time to get shit sorted, but it seems like a fucking mess.

Edit - Maybe this is the year Taker wins it as a surprise entrant and we get Streak vs. Title as the main event. That's a Mania caliber main event. I also forgot about Brock Lesnar...big possibility.

They don't really need to be, you've got Lesnar/Rock/Maybe 'Taker in three headline matches to draw interest, plus 2/3 months to really push the winner before 'Mania.

Yeah I don't think the Rumble winner is as prestigious as it once was. The last two winners opened Wrestlemania. To be honest when it comes to the World title then the Rumble winner could easily be an average mid carder. They seem to throw that belt on anybody with a bit of momentum these days.

Favorite Match of the Year. Period. Freakin love the Rumble. It and Mania will be the two PPVs I guarantee buy every year. Just are. I'm hoping for a Punk win because means a few things including Cena probably won't win Rumble and the Long Reign of Punk continues.

That being said the logic side of me says... Rock wins, Cena wins, Rematch at Mania and I throw up in my mouth.

Hope they put Dolph over strong. Kane should reassert a Rumble dominance tonight as well although I'm sure most eliminations will be done by Ryback.

There will probably be a "Ryback eliminates two/three people at once" spot.

My favorite thing about the Royal Rumble was playing old wrestling video games. Some of the AI in those games were stupid as fuck and winning the RR was mad easy.

Not gonna be disappointed if none of these things happen though, I'm probably gonna enjoy whatever they throw at me.

Would be real cool if the last 4 in the Rumble were Cena, Taker, Lesnar, and Dolph Ziggler. Dolph looks like a fucking champ in there with those 3.

Currently watching the 2010 Rumble to get myself in the mood. Still debating whether to watch via stream and chat live or wait until tomorrow and get a high quality rip. I feel guilty not buying but I couldn't get anyone to go in with me :(

Trying to keep my huge eROCKtion under control for long enough to say that I think Punk should retain. As huge of Rock mark that I am, the longer he retains, the further it builds his persona and people will tune in week after week to see him lose it. He should hold it for another year.

However, I might cry if The Rock wins. Tears of joy, mind you. And...semen.

I actually do. I think Maddox gets involved and we get Punk/Rock/Cena at Mania.
