I'm going to see Bad Religion and Polar Bear Club at the beginning of April. Pretty stoked 'cause I haven't seen Bad Religion live yet. Against Me! was supposed to be on the bill too (was like 75% of the reason I wanted to go) but they backed out 'cause their drummer quit. DAMMIT. I haven't seen them since Tom Gabel went all Lara Emily, and they always put on an amazing show.
Otherwise, I'm going to some festival or another, Metallica is headlining or something and RHCP and Deftones and Rise Against and Dropkick Murphys are playing, plus the usual assortment of a bunch of bands I never heard of. IDK should be pretty hot. Usually not big on "festivals" but whatevs. crossrine |

Red Fang Fozzy Anthrax Slayer A Perfect Circle Linkin Park Blink 182 Metallica I don't like Linkin Park, but they put on a hell of a show, Blink 182 acted like they didn't want to be there - actually they acted like a pair of 14 years olds, but I guess that's their shtick. |

saw Hatebreed, Sylosis, Killswitch and some skinny jean wearing band from California over the last few weeks. Hatebreed were ok for what they are, Killswitch were fun, ehh to the rest. The Defiled tomorrow, who will be more ehh. Probs gonna go to Bloodstock (I know) in August, headliners are Lamb of God (:heart:) Slayer (lol) and King Diamond (know like one song) want to see DevilDriver also, Fozzy, Anthrax and Gojira are the only others band I have any mild interest in. LoG and various intoxicants in a tent for 3 days being the main reasons for going, hope to survive past the 1st night since "metallll" folk can make you feel a bit suicidal

didn't wind up going :( it started yesterday through Sunday, was gonna be part of a stag do but wasn't really feasible for some people and only one other guy was willing to still go and do separate stag do so we shitcanned it. But luckily the only date Lamb of God are playing in Britain this year outside of that festival is 5 minutes down the road from me on Tuesday night

I'm seeing Rasputina on Friday. I've wanted to see them live for 10 years or so, but they never over here in the UK. So it is a very rare opportunity. Sadly, they are only the support act for the Smoke Faries, who do nothing for me. So I'll probably only stay for Rasputina.
