Who wins the chamber?

If I was a betting man I really couldn't bet on this. I think its going to be either Orton, Mark, or Jericho but could see situations where either of them win. Who would you put money on to win?

Schlomey 02-14-2013 10:57 AM

I see Del Rio beating Big Show this Sunday so it's gotta be a heel because Del Rio isn't established enough as a face to pull off a face vs face Mania match.

So I'm going with Swagger or Henry. Preferably Swagger because it would be a more "pure" wrestling match.

If by some chance The Big Show wins the title I see Chris Jericho winning the Chamber.

However, dirt sheets reported Jericho coming back in hopes of putting a young talent over at Mania. If that report is true I could see Randy Orton winning instead and giving Jericho a singles match against Swagger at Mania. Or something to that effect.

Big Vic 02-14-2013 11:01 AM

I see Henry winning and facing ADR at mania and possibly winning or destroying him enough so ziggler picks up the win.

I can't see swagger winning this at all, although i guess his chances are better than T.H.N.

Joesgonnakillyou 02-14-2013 11:07 AM

This match is why I haven't done my tipsters picks yet. It's really difficult to predict. It could easily be Y2J (vs Ziggler) Orton (vs Anyone) or Henry (vs Del Rio).

Swagger's looking really likely as well, his new gimmick is virtually set up to feud with a latino.

SlickyTrickyDamon 02-14-2013 11:07 AM

It's too soon for Swagger to be in the main event of WrestleMania after just coming back from an extended hiatus

UNLESS....

They want to play up Swagger as a Real American and taking the title away from the Mexican. So, Dutch can go "DEY TOOK OUR TITLE!"

I vote Swagger this opportunity is too big for them to pass up.

Corporate CockSnogger 02-14-2013 11:13 AM

Jericho

Schlomey 02-14-2013 11:15 AM

Luckily they gave Swagger a new mouthpiece and you are right, his new gimmick is perfect for a feud with Del Rio.

but I'm also a fan of Ziggler going into Mania as champ after he cashes in on Del Rio leading to Ziggler/Jericho for the WHC (that would give Jericho the chance to rub a younger guy).

Schlomey 02-14-2013 11:15 AM

....the chance to rub a younger guy. :nono:

That is a very good point, however I don't see it being Mania worthy

DAMN iNATOR 02-14-2013 11:44 AM

Wouldn’t mind seeing Jericho going over, could be awesome.

Rammsteinmad 02-14-2013 11:58 AM

I like Swagger, but I'm not prepared to see him in the world title match at Wrestlemania just yet, unless it's in a triple threat/fatal-four-way.

Ziggler pins Del Rio after Big Show knocks him out after a fluke win. Jericho wins the Chamber setting up Jericho vs Ziggler

I agree, but then with a stacked card already they might wanna take a punt? I can imagine the feud between them being really heated.

The point is I don't really have a clue, there's 3 people with a strong chance of winning, 1 outside but possible shot (swagger) and 2 real outside bets.

Del Rio winning the title and then suddenly becoming quite a good face has really fucked my predictions for the WHC at WM

Cuse8 02-14-2013 12:30 PM

anything other than jericho winning chamber.. and ziggles cashing in someone settling up those 2 at WM and im disappointed

and im prepared to be disappointed

Nicky Fives 02-14-2013 01:02 PM

Henry should win...... Ziggler should cash in right before the match and make it a Triple Threat, steals the pin from Henry following a WSS and gets the belt

The World title match at WrestleMania last year opened the show and lasted 18 seconds.

They could easily build Swagger up as JBL 2.0 with Zeb as his mouthpiece in 6 weeks with ADR and his Eddie. Could be a stellar build up and the match has loads of potential.

I feel like they're more likely to go with ADR vs Henry though. And Jericho vs Ziggler is still a possibility too.

If I had to put money on one right now, I'd probably go with Henry.

Though I can see the match ending up as a triple threat with Del Rio and Ziggler both involved after a Ziggler cash in which could open up the match for anyone, face or heel.

#1-norm-fan 02-14-2013 01:11 PM

The more I think about a Swagger w/ Zeb vs ADR w/ Ricardo feud heading into WrestleMania, the more I fucking love it though. Damn...

The Condor 02-14-2013 01:45 PM

Picked Henry, would like Swagger. Henry, when healthy the last year in a half, has been damn entertaining.

Emperor Smeat 02-14-2013 03:49 PM

Leaning on Orton winning it with Henry or Jericho as being the last one eliminated.

Seems too early for Swagger-Del Rio feud right now while Kane and Bryan probably going to cause each other to be eliminated.

Team Sheep 02-14-2013 03:54 PM

I would like to see something like Show beats Del Rio, then Ziggler cashes in and then Orton wins the chamber. Del Rio and Show both claim that they have rematch clauses which sets up a fatal 4 way.

Heisenberg 02-14-2013 05:54 PM

Swagger should destroy everybody, but I agree with him just now coming back, it probably won't fuckin' happen.

XCaliber 02-14-2013 07:15 PM

Ziggler vs Bryan for WM could be a be a great match just saying.

mike adamle 02-14-2013 07:28 PM

Really looking forward to this match. Chamber matches always deliver (even the ECW one in my opinion.) I'm expection Bryan to start with Jericho which should be awesome as well. Would be cool to see Daniel Bryan develop some sort of undefeated streak inside the Chamber.

Classy and Gassy 02-14-2013 11:00 PM

Kane- somebody has to pick him

Corndad 02-15-2013 02:53 AM

I just love it's not so predictable. Usually its pretty easy to see who will win these right before Mania. This Chamber could honestly see everyone but Kane (sorry Gassy) win this for some reason or another. I picked Henry for Tipsters but would Jericho cause probably sets up a Ziggler/Jericho match at Mania which is f'n amazing.

Rock Bottom 02-15-2013 03:11 AM

Randy Orton just texted me, and he is winning the match

Rock Bottom 02-15-2013 03:14 AM

just confirmed with mcmahon on skype

Joesgonnakillyou 02-15-2013 08:55 AM

Jericho said in an interview he was only in the chamber to replace Mysterio, which sent me on a train of thought that, after taking everything into account, concluded that it meant nothing.

Damn, this match is difficult to predict

#1-norm-fan 02-15-2013 06:10 PM

Jericho saying publicly that he's only in the match as a replacement actually leads me more to believe that he's in line to win it.

Keith 02-15-2013 07:04 PM

Orton needs something good to happen in his career, so I'm going w/him.

The Condor 02-15-2013 07:35 PM

Orton has had enough good things, he doesn't need this match. Mark Henry, Jackie Swagger, and DBry deserve or need it more.

What did Swagger or Henry do in the 3 weeks they've been back to "deserve" it? Shut the fuck up.

The Condor 02-15-2013 09:12 PM

*deserve or need

The Condor 02-15-2013 09:14 PM

Point being that if Swagger or Bryan don't get some kind of push soon they will never be credible in the eyes of fans as main eventers in title hunts. That's my point. Orton is established and doesn't need it as much as them.

This, but with Orton.

Fox 02-16-2013 01:05 AM

Really hard to call this Chamber match. It's funny with the Chamber - even though there's 6 guys and it's supposed to be unpredictable, you can usually make a pretty guess on who's going to walk out the winner - I guess having a major title on the line makes things easier to predict. But with only a #1 contendership status on the line, things could go a lot of different ways.

My head says it'll be Jericho, who will win the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania and then promptly lose it to Ziggler, who is the first to cash in MITB at Mania.

I would love if it were Randy Orton, who got the final fall after bringing back the Punt Kick against a face (maybe Jericho or Bryan), teasing his heel turn. Orton plays tweener heading into Mania against Del Rio, doing heelish things like not saving Del Rio from a heel beatdown and walking out on him during tag team matches. At Mania, Orton wins with the RKO. After the match, he gives Del Rio another RKO and then the Punt Kick. Heel Orton is ready to roll heading into the "new season" of the WWE.

Droford 02-16-2013 01:15 AM

Big show wins, ziggler cashes in, Jericho wins the chamber..fatal four way Ziegler/show/del Rio/jericho

#1-norm-fan 02-16-2013 01:29 AM

I feel like it's gotta be a multi-man title match at WrestleMania just to get all these guys on the card. It's gonna be stacked.

Droford 02-16-2013 01:46 AM

Swagger vs cessaro
Henry vs ryback
Kane/Bryan in a tag match
No idea what to do with orton though..prob vs Barrett for the IC title with sheamus and a heel

#1-norm-fan 02-16-2013 02:34 AM

Orton vs. Sheamus at WrestleMania with a proper build would have a pretty awesome "big match" feel to it for a non title match featuring two full-time guys. That's not something we've seen very often recently at WrestleMania.

One of the would have to turn face. And it makes zero sense to turn either of them face right now.

i'd like for jericho to win and dolph to legit cash in at WM.

Think there was a chart posted in the 100k wrestling thread of him having the most losses out of everyone last year.

Might have been in the 40s-50s for losses.

#1-norm-fan 02-16-2013 05:13 PM

WWE loves having guys go on massive losing streaks before they randomly push them to the title. Credibility is clearly a foreign term to the writers. Hell, there was a span last year where I'm pretty sure Punk was losing as many matches as he was winning on free TV... while he was already champion...

That's why I never got into Swagger's title win. It was so ridiculous how he went on a massive losing streak losing to Santino Marella and the like and then the next month is beating Randy Orton clean on PPV just because he happens to have cashed in MITB and is champion now.

I think Reys 1st WHC run was the worst, he was losing before and after he won the title.

Ah yeah I remember when as champion he lost to Mark Henry, Kane and The Great Khali clean in back to back weeks, and then beat JBL at the PPV. I remember quite enjoying the story but it really made the title look a bit shit.
