New Title Belt
 

New Belt..... I'm leaning towards nay.....not sure yet.

Undecided. I hated it when I saw pictures months ago, but it grew on me a bit when Rock was holding it. I'll need to wait and see how it looks with someone wearing around their waist before I cast final judgement.

Also, spoiler.

Right now, I think it's a horrible design, but not necessarily worse than the old one. I'll wait to see if it grows on me

It's better because it's something new. As long as the bulls are customizable, it's not bad.

Not really on the subject, but I was a big supporter of the Rated R WWE Championship.

I think it's an improvement over the spinner.

I like the idea of the side plates being interchangeable.

Is it perfect, no. But it sure isn't as bad as the tag belts.

I think WWE gave Aaron Rodgers a WWE Championship he didn't buy it.

I personally dislike the lack of a nameplate, but the flipside is that eliminates the cries of picky bitches who whine about the name not being changed IMMEDIATELY whenever X wins the title then gets pictures taken.

it does look like a Superbowl/Championship Ring. I think that's why I like it. Dont like the idea of static side plates after the Rock's reign.

The US Title, the IC title and the WHC Belts are all decent right now. This makes the WWE Title decent. Only if we could fix the damned tag team titles and that Divas shit

Yeah, it seems they wanted to make it look like a championship ring kind of but it still doesn't look like something people will look back on in 20 years and go "Wow, that looks awesome." The Winged Eagle, Attitude Era, and Undisputed designs are timeless. I really don't like that center plate shape though. The US Championship has that same style, and it just looks weird. Rounded corners looks better.

Poor Rock had to sell the shit out of that belt. I imagine they might change it since it got shat on and probably will going forward.

On a more serious note, I never liked the undisputed belt that much.

Considering he was the first guy to hold it, it angers me that that is the only good picture I could find of HHH with the Undisputed design.

Whatever the Undisputed title is awesome. It's the belt that Eddie Guerrero won and JBL was awesome with for a year.

All this hate over the tag team belts (which I don't believe look as bad as everyone says) would be negated if somone like TPWW girl-of-the-moment Katlyn did this to them:


Also, if they make a legit division and keep them relevant instead of spamming teams to do jack shit then disbanding all of them in a never ending cycle would help out as well.

I can see how the stark COPPER look is a bit offputting, but I think the spartan helmet design looks cool.

It's fitting that the tag team titles are bronze since it's a 3rd place prize for not being over enough to be on your own to have a World or secondary title.

Yay because anything is better than the awful spinner belt.

Nay because it's still a bit too full of gaudy bling all over the place...and the exposed leather behind the logo bugs me.

That said, I do like the angular 'shield' shaped motif for the central plate, but overall this belt doesn't have an aura of prestige like some of the previous titles did.

Its like a red wine stain or a pizza sauce stain, yeah they are different but I wouldn't want to wear either of them.

It's better than the spinner. Though personally I don't like that there's no name-plate...surely they could have had one rather than just slapping "CHAMPION" on it in giant letters, as if people wouldn't fucking know that.

Every time this comes up it becomes apparent that the only way to really make the titles mean anything is to unify them. Blah blah, yeah I know.

Yay over it's immediate predecessor, but it still very much resembles a toy rather than the WWF/WWE titles of the past.

The Eagle belt is the best design they have had for a while (custom belts notwithstanding). Attitude Era was decent too, but Eagles still beat that out I think.

The black void behind the logo and the general size of the logo ruin it for me. As suggested, if they made the logo smaller and maybe did the eagle/world gimmick behind it it'd look better. But I honestly prefer the spinner's design (when locked) to this. More compact. Honestly the title looks like more of a toy than the locked spinner to me. Like something a child would create out of cardboard for backyard wrestling, only real.

Too much black but other than that I like it.

Unless the Rock has the stickiest shoulders ever, there's no way that heavy ass belt could hang by just a little bit of the strap.

I like it and seems like the Big Gold belt somewhat influenced the design.

Had Punk not complained a few times about the belt, it would have debuted during his reign.

I like the black behind the logo, looks much better than the gold background in the photo that leaked last year.

Then again, it could have just been a template. But still, I thing the final design looks better.

It'll be interesting how they customize that for different people

I'm thinking that once The Rock loses the title, the side plates will change to the generic stuff that's on the replica belt. If the side plates were going to be customizable, then WWE would totally be selling the custom side plates along with the replica belt. There's no way they'd miss an opportunity to get more money like that.

I would bet if they start making them, the new champion would still have the old logos from the past champion for a while. If they make them too early or in batches, it would give away who becomes the next champion(s) since its very likely those would be leaked online.

Did pictures ever leak of the Nameplates for new champs before they won? I assume it'd be the same deal with the panels.

The main plate could have been more traditional it kinda looks more like a brass ring design but i'll gladly take it over that crap spinner belt any day.

On WWE Shop.com you can see what the belt will look like when The Rock loses it. The two side plates look pretty generic.

I've already forgot what the belt looks like. How many hours of TV does WWE have a week? Even a satellite promo from The Rock shoved into Raw and SmackDown (and maybe even Main Event) wouldn't be a terrible idea.

He's too busy to even bring it via satellite
