He has to be suspended immediately, right? I mean... it's not technically a wellness violation but how could the company reason not suspending him?

RVD lost two titles over the same thing.

Know I've been hankering for a triple threat for the WWE Championship but I would pull CM Punk since he was gonna be in a title match anyway plus it could stil potentially be a great match.

Even if they do suspend him, he'd be back with almost 2 weeks to go before WrestleMania. 30 days is it for a 1st offense, right? Just let Zeb do all the talking for awhile after ADR fucks up Swagger's arm with the cross armbreaker on Monday.

Fandango is already pencilled in to beat Cena and Punk next week and go on to face The Rock.

Hopin either Henry or Dolph. Henry they can build up even more as a monster, destroy Khali, Swagger, Zeb and take the spot.

I was actually thinking last Monday, as I watched RAW, how great it would be if Daniel Bryan and Zeb Colter were paired up.

Now's the chance. Daniel has a lot more charisma than Jack Swagger, is better on the mic, and is already over with the crowd.

He just "fits" in with Zeb's "We the people". Daniel Bryan would be awesome.

Daniel Bryan can bring out his American Dragon persona as well.

Personally, I think they should just be open and honest about this. Have Triple H come out and call out Swagger and Zeb Colter to the ring. "Jack, we know you messed up bad last week. As such, we have chosen to terminate your contract effective immediately. Mr. Colter, I hate illegal immigrants too, so you will be in my corner when I face Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXIX!"

Put Ol Dirty Dutch in the ring himself. Have some trickery and he wins the world title. Then Dolph beats him cashing in MITB.

We've always compared Del Rio to JBL, so there you go. JBL can work a match, he's got about a month and a half to train.

Would be cool to see Cody and his mustache get a shot and team with Zeb after he dumps Swagger. It wouldn't be completely random since he's the son of the "American Dream." Would be a sick match with Del Rio.

They should have Zeb trying to find a replacement, and he asks Slater. Slater's all "yeahhh let's do it babehhhhh" Then 3MB are in the ring, Slater brings out Zeb, and then he just stares at Mahal awkwardly.

Slater starts berating Mahal and then turns to Drew and is all "Come on Drew, let's get this foreigner and kick him out our... oh... wait." Then Drew and Mahal beat up Slater. Slater then assembles a team of rednecks to take over the WWE.

We're dreaming, guys.

They'll probably pair Zeb with Big Show, we'll have him wrestle ADR again, and the whole thing will go to shit.

Perfect reason to bring Murdoch and Cade back to the WWE!

Think he's keeping his spot although if there were any long term plans or scenarios involving him taking the belt off of Del Rio (or Ziggler if he cashed in), those are probably gone as a punishment.

Zeb should call his nephew Eli... I thought he was the more accomplished of the Blu Brothers

I'd have Big Show smash Swagger and steal Dutch's love, and Dutch would be with Big Show now, and do some more Big Show vs Del Rio at Mania.

Daniel Bryan would be perfect. He's clean. Something Bruno likes. Good publicity. They can go with the whole 'vegan' and probably drug free healthy style, the ideal wrestler- unlike that law breaking maverick. Two great wrestlers, Del Rio and Bryan. Who taps out?

Why are so many people assuming that Zeb Coulter keeps the spot that we're assuming Swagger is going to lose?

Christian could do it. I know he's Canadian, but he can play up that he moved to Florida to get away from Canada because he loves America. Then Zeb Colter plays up that Christian is an immigrant, but he is an American immigrant because he came into this country "the right way".

I can just see Christian in army fatigues, looking like something out of a neo-nazi trailer park.

Again with the Zeb. What gives?

They should bring in Big Poppa Pump to face Alberto Del Rio

Dear God NO! This gives me horrible visions of that HHH/Steiner title match at Royal Rumble 03.

I wouldn't mind watching Chris Jericho face Alberto Del Rio

So yeah, either Jericho or Big Poppa Pump. Or a 3-way between Del Rio and the other 2.

I wonder if it's something to do with pressure, either assumed with the position or from the guys in the back. I mean, look at who was in the Elimination Chamber. Swagger was the youngest and least experienced worker in there.

The WWE have had three ways to handle the situation:

1. They could have acknowledged the situation, had Booker T (or another of the eight million authority figures in WWE) suspend Swagger and strip him of his title shot. This would lead to either an emergency contender being named, or Ziggler cashing in on Del Rio and the rematch taking place at WrestleMania.

OPTIONAL: Zeb Colter remains on television doing his heel spiel, perhaps having a verbal feud with a babyface like Booker T or even Jim Ross who claim that Colter has corrupted Swagger and is ruining the kid's life. Booker T vs. Jack Swagger could have been added as a last minute WrestleMania undercard match from this (since a suspension would not keep Swagger out of the WWE past WrestleMania). Then the WWE could have taken the time to actually build Swagger.

2. The WWE sees this as "entertainment," and while they could strip the shot off Swagger, remember that they are pushing guys that have had one or two strikes against their name all the time, and that sometimes "entertainers" misbehave. It's unlikely the WWE would put the title on Swagger taking this approach, but his spot remains his and the WWE just rolls with the blows. When Swagger is dispatched by Del Rio he'd then take some quiet time off.

3. The WWE treat it like a kayfabe sport, where the condundrum is that Swagger broke some rules, but he also earned his shot darn it. I guess it comes down to whether the WWE values the conduct of Superstars more than wins and losses, and given that on-air suspensions are rarely given for being an all-round asshole, it'd make sense to keep the infringement quiet and have Swagger continue to chase Del Rio.

It seems like Swagger is keeping his shot, which I don't disagree with, to be honest. Everyone makes mistakes, and Swagger has proven to put on a good show when he needs to. Plus, this storyline is making a stir and that is good for the WWE (I guess). Del Rio will probably get a strong decisive victory over Swagger at Mania and then when Swagger returns from some time off, I can perhaps see him feuding with Kofi Kingston, who talks about the opportunities America allows and plays the impassioned immigrant against Swagger.
