Probably not, they were fairly clear on why they avoided them. And the best possible reason (Shockwave) was killed off in the last movie. They'd have to come up with something to add them, and Bay himself won't be the guy to do it. Maybe in T5 with a new director. Spielberg will be down regardless, I imagine.

They god damn well better add the dinobots in one of these movies.

What about Predacons? They're getting a big push in the brand this year. Animal forms seem to be a thing for Hasbro going forward so who knows.

In a franchise that lives on product placement, that would be easy.

If they do to Predaking to what they did to Devastator no thanks although his face in the G1 series could have been so much cooler.

Actually I've read that may bite the bullet and upgrade Megatron to Galvatron already. The theme seems to be new forms, plus it alludes to the only big bad yet to appear.

So frustrated with all the Bayformer movies. Can't tell one 'bot from the next when they're in robot mode unless they speak. Next to no plot. And while this is announced as MB's final film in the series as director, he is staying on as producer for the 2nd and 3rd in this new trilogy, which means his footprint is still gonna be all over them.

I can totally tell one bot from the next in their humanoid forms. Don't be dramatic. And the plot's about as good as the cartoons and recent games, ie some series of events to sell toys and entertain.

Actually I would say the Cybertron games have been much better.

I'm not being dramatic, I honestly can't tell one grey mass of cables from the next.

Perhaps the kibs of their vehicle forms should clue you in. They tend to be fairly colorful. But whatever.

Gotta admit I struggle as well.

Well, most likely Motor Master. The presence of Combaticons is heavily rumored since there's an unusual amount of Decepticon automobiles spotted on set. The original Combaticon concept, aside from bringing more combiners onto toy shelves, was having Decepticons with traditionally Autobot vehicle modes. (Similarly the Aerialbots, another combiner group that launched the same time, were Autobots with traditionally Decepticon vehicle modes)

There is a most interesting rumor that the truck is actually reborn Megatron as Galvatron, but Galvatron was rumored for the last two movies and he never shows.

One last reveal! We seen Bee returning to a vintage Camaro in an earlier reveal, but it seems he'll once again have an upgrade like the first movie. Behold!

I hope that's just for the new movie and not a redesign for the Camaro.

I'd have to get over wanting Micheal Bay to die in order to see this.

You gotta admit though when they fight it looks like a goddamn cgi etch a sketch.

I've got dibs on the black semi being Nemesis Prime.

Could be Ultra Magnus for all I know he did look similar to Optimus under the armor only white.

That truck was seen chasing Optimus in a shoot. It's a villain for sure.

Met Gary Chalk, the voice of Beast Wars' Optimus Primal at the con yesterday. I had no idea he'd be there so I was fairly hype at the time. I told him I was one of the kids who had to 'get over' hearing him instead of Peter Cullen but his Optimus grew on me as Beast Wars went on. He did Primal's phrase, "That's just Prime," and I went on my way!

Can see this ending up like GI Joe for me where I wait until the Blu ray release before I show any interest, get less enthused every time there's new info.

Military made all Transformers enemies of the state since the battle at Chicago, any surviving Autobots went into hiding. Humans are producing their own Transformers, including Galvatron. All the while a badass Decepticon(?) named Lockdown has come to Earth to presumably do very bad things.

And Mark Wahlberg must save us all.
