I'm kind of meh on this card. Weidman versus Silva is legit and I think Swanson versus Siver can be fireworks. Other than those two, I don't really care about the rest.

I'll still tune in of course and wouldn't be surprised if this was one of those UFC cards filled with KOs, subs and slobberknockers. It's just on paper, none of those other fights stick out to me.

Simple fact is, Silva hasnt legitimately lost since Dec of 2004.. He has been fighting the top middleweights in the world, and dominating them for the better part of a decade.. He has toyed with his opponents numerous times during that time.. Against Okami (ufc), Maia, Cote, and even against LHWs like Irvine, Bonnar, etc.. This time he got caught.. Fucksake even in the 2004 loss, he was toying with Chonnan before getting caught in a flying knee bar, that people have said was a fix forever..

If it wasn't for the fact Silva has shown repeatedly that he has no class and no respect for the sport, the question of him throwing the fight wouldn't even come up. I do find it interesting it took this long for somebody to finally catch him while pulling his bullshit, but for the "punch heard around the world" to knockout Silva...its underwhelming. If people are paying money to see a dragon get slayed (or eat another human alive), than the dragon had better not die from indigestion instead of a flaming dagger through his skull.
