CM Punk's Issues with WWE
 

One of the reasons that Brock Lesnar is being used so soon after WrestleMania and that the Undertaker is working a match on RAW next week is because CM Punk won’t be returning anytime soon and WWE feels that they need star power on TV.

The original plan for CM Punk was for him to address the crowd on the RAW after Wrestlemania 29. He would whine about his loss and then “walk out” on the company. WWE held Punk off of that show because officials felt that Punk would get a big reaction from the post-WrestleMania RAW crowd.

But there is more to the story. Punk was not happy with the verbiage that WWE wanted him to use, and didn’t want to come off as a whiner. A few weeks ago, Punk had a big blow up with the WWE creative team, and it got to the point that he wanted to give his notice to the company. Punk eventually worked out his issues with WWE management, but it was decided then that he wouldn’t work live events, instead just TV and WrestleMania 29.

With the knee injury and issues with creative, the decision was made to write Punk off of TV. While there is no set plan for Punk’s return, word is that he won’t be back until at least SummerSlam time.

Jinder needs to break the streak

I'd actually love to see Jinder vs. Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX. Imagine the Islamic community coming over to America to support their hero and Messiah, Jinder Mahal.

Jinder was shit when he debuted. He only really had good presence. Now he's gotten a lot better. When the band eventually breaks up he might actually do something interesting. I think he works best as a heel sidekick though.

Oh, CM Punk? Right. I think he'll be back sooner than we think (like Payback soon -- the PPV is in Chicago after all). I actually wouldn't mind it if they did give him a lot of time off, though, and maybe did bring him back as the surprise winner of the 2014 Royal Rumble. It would be long enough that even the most casual of fans would mark out for his return, and it'd set-up a pretty huge WWE Title match for WrestleMania XXX. The Undertaker winning the WWE Title before the PPV would set up quite the headlining match. John Cena vs. CM Punk is also something that would be quite good for Mania.

Idea everyone will hate:

The Undertaker vs. CM Punk vs. John Cena in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania XXX in a match where Taker doesn't need to be pinned for the streak to come to an end. Or make it an elimination match where he must out-last both Punk and Cena to win the match. Taker eliminates Cena and then loses to Punk who breaks the streak and wins the WWE Championship. It's WrestleMania "XXX" and the idea of "3" is subtly used in promoting the match.

Punk returning as a face that doesn't play to the crowd and that sort of thing could be pretty cool. Time away will no doubt pop the crowd when he comes back. With Payback being in Chicago, a surprise return there could be something. Maybe they can have Brock Lesnar go after John Cena and the WWE Championship and Punk can go after Dolph Ziggler and the World Heavyweight Championship?
