Somebody (I forget whom) suggested we do this, so I am setting it up. If it works out we will do a Worst theme song tournament in a similar style.

Nominate one song in the thread in these categories:

The top nominated songs in each category will then compete in a tournament in random order.

If there is a tie in the nomination process there will be a brief tiebreaker voting round.

If there is a tie in the tournament they are both eliminated and the other theme will get a bye into the next round.

No, it wasn't for the Horseman theme song. They got that in like 1993-1994.

By the 2000s, I mean 2000-2009. So, James Storm would be current theme and Angles would be the other one.

Wow. My memory of the end of WCW/beginning of the invasion is melting together. I really was thinking that song originated in WCW and WWE just took it.

James Storm used that theme in 2007-2008 at least, so it counts as 2000s. Don't care for his newer one.

Legion of Doom was the 90's in the WWF. Not the 80s.

Since the Horseman didnt have a theme song every horseman vote is being counted to Ric Flair.

The horsemen did have a theme....they had numerous themes.

Numerous is not a theme. They didn't get the theme everybody associates with the Horseman until 1994.

There is no definitive Horseman theme from the 1980s. So, Horseman votes are Flair votes.

I am fine with a Flair vote.

There was obviously a 2nd theme somewhere in there. To count all Horsemen votes as a Flair vote is horseshit and makes this entire thing a sham. A better way to fix the situation would be to throw out "Horsemen" votes in the 1980's section if you don't feel they had a theme to be considered.

I'm gonna have to look and research this. I know they did at the Feb. 1990 Clash of the Champions when they kicked Sting's ass out for wanting a title shot against Flair, but I'm gonna have to find something definitive. I'll be back with SOMETHING.
