Lucky 7 - Seven co-workers at a gas station co-win the lottery.

Back In The Game - After failing at life a woman decides to coach a child's softball team

Super Fun Night - Rebel Wilson stars as the head of a trio of friends who dedicate every Friday to fun, but find love along the way

Once Upon A Time in Wonderland - A spin-off of ABC's Once Upon A Time with Alice in Wonderland as a backdrop

We Are Men - A group of divorced guys all share an apartment building.

Mom - Anna Faris stars as a newly sober mom trying to survive waitressing in Wine Country.

Hostages - A world class surgeon who is scheduled to operate on the President finds out her family has been taken hostage by a rogue FBI agent, who will only set them free if she kills the President during surgery.

The Millers - Will Arnett stars as a reporter whose mother moves in with him after being dumped by his father.

The Crazy Ones - Robin Williams returns to TV alongside tv-daughter Sarah Michelle Gellar as the unconventional head of an advertising firm.

CBS had that show already and it flopped

I like Once Upon a Time, but definitely think that this spinoff will negatively affect/dilute "the brand".

Rebel Wilson is gold. Anything she does will be good.

This new Michael J Fox Show sounds a bit shaky.

Yeah but it had Rob Schneider so it wasn't a fair test of the concept.

Not excited about any new shows except for SHIELD.

Every channel is now required to have a 1+ shows about a parent moving back in with their child.

Will watch the shit out of anything with Sarah Michelle Gellar. Robin Williams is just a huge bonus though.

How's the second series of Once Upon A Time been? I stuck with the first all the way through but it had so many faults, mostly being that like 4 of the main 5 characters were all awful.

I think the second "season" was much better.

Since the TV season ended last night, I guess I'll put in my picks on what I'll try watching for next season.

Definately will check out the The Blacklist. Spader can hold down a show rather well. However, I'm waiting for Ubisoft to hit NBC with a lawsuit since they got Splinter Cell: Blacklist coming out. :lol:

Fox has been a dead network to me since House went off the air. But I'll give Sleepy Hollow a shot. Ain't nothing cooler than a gun totin', axe wielding Headless Horseman.

And like all the other comic book nerds, I'll give Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D a few episodes of my time. Kinda wish it had a little extra star power to go along with Ming-Na Wen, but I'll take what I can get.

I haven't actually looked at much of the new stuff, but o the things I know about...

I'll def be watching Agents of SHIELD because even regardless of it being part of the marvel universe, I'd watch anything with Joss Whedon's name on.

Gonna check out The Crazy Ones solely for Sarah Michelle Gellar. After seeing the trailer it just looks like a "hey look at Robin Williams acting silly" thing and not much else but whatever, I'll see what it's like at least.

Also Intelligence looks pretty fun and has Josh Holloway so yeah that was always gonna have my attention.

Yeah I'd heard nothing about it either until the trailer for it was suggested after the trailer for The Crazy Ones. I think I'd like it more if it was more sci-fi and a bit less secret service agent guy. There's like a million of those.

Mariska Hargitay signed a new deal to come back to Law & Order: SVU for a 15th season.

There needs to be a serious cut back on characters I think.

So, in terrible news:

Danny Glover will only be appearing in five of the thirteen Community episodes in the next season. So we have Dan Harmon back, but Troy will be pretty much gone.

I would totally watch Danny Glover on Community

They should have Danny fill in for Donald in the episodes he's gonna miss and just act like nothing's changed. It would be brilliant.

That is what is happening. Danny Glover is appearing in 5/13 episodes where Donald is not available.

Nerds rejoice. Summer Glau is on board for a recurring role for season 2 of Arrow.

Today I will be watching Blacklist with the fabulous James Spader and tonight...SHIELD!!!

We got our first casualty this tv season.

ABC cancels Lucky 7 after 2 episodes.

Just watched the pilot of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. Pretty bad. Really hurting the brand.

And CBS announced the cancellation of We Are Men.

NBC cancels Ironside and Welcome to the Family.

CBS gives full season orders to The Crazy Ones, Mom, and The Millers.

New season of Community starts January 2nd

I'd heard good things about Ironside, ah well.

Netflix revives The Killing and is giving it the treatment CW is Nikita. 6 episodes to wrap it all up.

She's not in the main cast of Arrow and secondly that show has a lot of potential and has a lot of momentum.

Ray Donovan is an interesting show but I don't know if it'll last long. I implore you guys to check out Banshee. The Tomorrow People seems to not be advertised much but it's a decent show so far.

Bitten, Enlisted, Helix, Black Sails are shows I will be trying out. I watched the first 15 mins of Vikings and it seemed pretty good so I'll give that a go but there's so many TV shows right now.

It took a while to get going for me, ended up really liking it in the end.

does anyone watch Hannibal? Michael Pitt is gonna be on Hannibal and I would like to discuss how delightful that will be

Loving Black Sails right now. Even if the reviews aren't that good.

Enjoyed Ray Donovan, watched the first Season of Banshee and enjoyed that too, mostly for Lili Simmons, gonna wait and binge on the second season when its done. Pretty much getting hold of everything Jura mentioned for when I have more time.

Anyone watch the show "Revolution"? Did it get any better/more interesting? I watched the first half of the first season. Was "alright", but couldn't stand the main female lead.

I heard it got way better, but I don't want to commit to watching it and find out

I can't tell as I have pretty much forgotten the first season. I'd say the first season was more exciting and interesting, probably because it could have ended there. The main story takes a different twist but it's pretty much the band doing what they usually do.

I'd suggest you watch the first season to completion and if you have the urge to continue on to the second season then do so.

NBC cancels The Michael J. Fox show. With Sean Saves the World getting axed last week, and Welcome to the Family getting canceled earlier in the season, NBC's Thursday night comedy block is now eliminated.

I think NBC just goes through shows until something sticks.

Fox cancels The X Factor after 3 seasons.

TNT cancels Mob City after 1 season.

CBS renews just about everything.

Two shows on the fence over there are The Mentalist and The Crazy Ones.

Checked out The Crazy Ones for like two minutes once

This thread makes me glad I largely avoid network shows. No continuity at all, everything gets cancelled and is shit.

That show had potential but I heard FOX aired episodes out of order and then they were supposed to reboot the second half.

There was no over arching plot line so the air orders didn't matter really, had so much potential though.

Revolution hasn't had a new episode in almost a month. Not looking good for the show.

Stopped watching that show mid-first season.... never bothered catching up.... I guess I will see what its fate is before I even think about bothering to....
