Memorable Heel turns outside of pro wrestling

I'm talking about characters or real people turning heel anywhere else besides pro-wrestling.

Watched the Great Gatsby last night and found Daisy's heel turn to be something that was very wwe-ish. List yours!

Savio 05-26-2013 09:24 AM

Might want to put a spoiler on that.

Savio 05-26-2013 09:25 AM

I remember getting pissed when I found out Ryder and Big Smoke crossed CJ

Shisen Kopf 05-26-2013 09:33 AM

The dude in the Alice Cooper song "no more mr nice guy"'. Total heel turn. no one likes him anymore. Even his reverend punched him in the nose. Shame really, he was such a nice fella opening doors for little old ladies.

Bad News Gertner 05-26-2013 10:03 AM

When Jason Collins announced he was gay

Shadrick 05-26-2013 10:49 AM

Knock yourself out.

XL 05-26-2013 11:05 AM

LOST was the best for face/heel turns. Ben seemed to turn every other episode, he was the Kane of that show. Sawyer was a close second.

Corporate CockSnogger 05-26-2013 11:15 AM

Sawyer was a tweener.

The Condor 05-26-2013 11:24 AM

Real life: Hitler
Movies: the Rock in "Get Smart"
Music: Metallica with the release of St. Anger

XL 05-26-2013 11:41 AM

That guy in 24 was a pretty big one.

XL 05-26-2013 11:42 AM

Tony Almeida.

MoFo 05-26-2013 11:48 AM

Locke had the best heel turn in Lost

Keith 05-26-2013 11:50 AM

When Jay Leno left the Tonight Show, gave it to Conan and then came back and took it away months later.

Lock Jaw 05-26-2013 12:29 PM

Anakin Skywalker

"Yep. I'm bad now. Time to kill some kids!"

Except Ben actually mattered.

I'm pretty sure their heel turn came when they started legal actions against their fans.

He should have hit Conan with a Stunner and left him laid out on the sound stage. That would have been ratings.

Rammsteinmad 05-26-2013 03:46 PM

Forgot all about those awful Botched Spot comics. I propose Lock Jaw be banned for reminding me they exist. :foc:

Lock Jaw 05-26-2013 03:51 PM

The one I posted is one of the only ones I like, though

Theo Dious 05-26-2013 04:00 PM

Barry Bonds, especially if you're from Pittsburgh.

XL 05-26-2013 04:01 PM

Tiger Woods pulled a pretty epic heel turn.

Theo Dious 05-26-2013 04:03 PM

Video games: Maya Brooks from Mass effect 3's Citadel DLC.

Kendra and Daina from Dead Space 1 and 2.

Krow 05-26-2013 10:07 PM

Metal Gear Solid. Not exactly a heel turn, but I had the same reaction as JR when I got to this point.
SPOILER: show

You mean he was like Alicia Fox, then?

Art Modell making the announcement he was moving the Browns to Maryland. Worked wonders as a heel turn because they did the dick move (unless you were a holdout Colts fan) of getting Mayflower trucks to rub salt in the wounds AND also got a championship push out of it the same year.

Oddly enough, Tiger sported that goatee after he went heel. Made him look like "Mirror, Mirror" Spock.

In a video game
SPOILER: show
Wheatley in Portal 2, also resulting in a face turn for GLaDOS. Its presumed she went back to everyone's favorite maevolent bitch after... cool heel (see Poker Night at the Inventory 2)

... this thread is giving my phone tremendous difficulty.

Watchted the Great Gatsby and realized the director pulled a heel turn by creating such a terrible movie. I want my 20.50 back.

The Condor 09-13-2013 08:55 PM

Johnny Manziel #heel

Curd 09-13-2013 10:46 PM

Nah, he's more like Wolfpac nWo. He's still getting huge face pops in spite of acting like a dick.

Shadrick 09-14-2013 01:44 AM

i just now saw kane knights response to me.

suck my dick.

glanville6 09-14-2013 02:43 AM

I'm a Bears fan, and lately, Brian Urlacher. Probably always a dick, but we loved him as a player. Now, he needs to shut up and let things go.

Chavo Classic 09-14-2013 09:04 AM

They booked the Walter White heel turn perfectly

always liked Urlacher and I think most fans, if they didn't like him, at least respected him. Except for PAckers fans. Now, however, I can see the case being made.

Benedict Arnold

Point of view thing. He turned heel on us, but we turned heel on The British Empire stable. Face pops in our own new nation, boos outside of it. Kinda like a heel Canadian in Canada. Arnold turned heel for heelish reasons and it still made him kind of a hero to England.

The Washington Redskins (management) for not considering changing the name or iconography of something racially insensitive in the same city that changed their basketball image about a decade ago because of gun violence.

Savio 10-29-2013 12:20 PM

Who was that guy who betrayed the Spartans? Was he mentioned?
