I realize and recognize that I lost interest in WWE when the new generation arrived
 

I havent watched WWE for a few months now. I look at spoilers to see if I want to watch the show and as soon as I see names like Daniel Bryan or CM Punk or The Miz or anyone else of this era I go "meh same old". I just havent been excited for wrestling with these new guys.

Anyone else or is everyone else creaming they pants over these new guys?

I feel like WWE suffered some from all the people they let go because of policy issues, budget cuts, etc.

I was watching some PPV's the other day from like 4-5 years ago. And so many guys they were working to put over are long gone. I didn't even realize it until kind of going back through these old vids. Some guys I was into before:
Shelton Benjamin, Jim Morrison, MVP, Mr. Kennedy etc

Those guys all got a lot of tv team and then were let go. They lost their transition class and now we're kind of stuck with the best of who's left.

I enjoy some of them. Daniel Bryan is good. But most of the people fighting for titles right now are a notch below some of the guys they were grooming not so long ago.

Because they had personalities.

At least in most cases. I'd love to have MVP, Kennedy and Carlito back.

Morrison wasn't exactly oozing personality but I still prefer him to most of the newer guys who all blend in with each other.

Curtis has been such a serious poster until now. I refuse to believe that he would be less than sincere.

My favorite John Morrison promo was when he was comparing Miz to Marty Jannetty and calling him "Mizzy Jannetty" with a really obnoxious, heelish whine (although Miz was supposed to be the heel, not Morrison). What's yours?

John Morrison's personality was meant to be heel. When he turned face he pretty much oozed mid-card, although there was a period where he was stealing the show constantly. It was 2011, I think, where it seemed pretty logical to have him in a few WWE Championship matches, but then his rivalry with R-Truth got canned.

I just said this in the 100,001 replies thread, but I'd love to see Morrison come back and reform his team with The Miz. As a singles face, Miz is pretty lost.

Morrisons problem was that he has -15 in mic skill stats. He sounds wooden and retarded on the mic. When he cuts a promo, it sounds like something a 4th grader memorized to recite in front of class.

Also Morisson is too busy juggling his nuts in Melina's ass crack to come back to WWE

He appeared @ WM 22 as a "mobster" or a chauffeur or something, but I don't think he officially debuted until sometime in 2007, IIRC.

He debuted in on July 4, 2006 as a part of the relaunched ECW.

To be fair, CM Punk still represents the "new guard" of things, so I can see calling him a "new guy." What surprises me is the fact that he's still employed with the company since he's been in the doghouse for 7 years.

Gertner, I've been wondering. Can you describe the feeling you get when you get negative attention? Does it make you "high" or something? Why do you feel like you need it?

I want to take all humor and all non-sense out and just have a real conversation about the mental state of people that troll. I just really need to find out why these needs need to be fulfilled in certain people. It most definitely spawns back to childhood but I want to pinpoint it.

Gertner is actually right about a fair bit. I do think he takes things to a troll extreme when it comes to some IWC favourites, however. I think that, secretly, Gertner sees the value in Daniel Bryan.

I have a chuckle and move on to something else. That's about it.

I've stated numerous times that I see the value in Daniel Bryan. Just because I don't agree with a point doesn't mean I'm trolling.

Honestly, Shisen and I just do things to make each other laugh. That's it. We both live normal lives. There's no "underlying trauma". Just for amusement. I post mainly at night on my midnight shift. Basically I get paid to troll.

Will Zack Ryder get a bit of a posse to go to war with 3MB? Santino Marella and Curt Hawkins aren't really doing anything. I'm not sure if the WWE even remembers that Hawkins & Ryder used to team, though. Might as well be Zack Ryder, Santino Marella & Justin Gabriel.

I'm SHOCKED that Ryder and Hawkins haven't been put back together by now.

As much as I love 3MB, Santino is above that.

Said it numerous times: Slater has that unique ability that he can lose every match and still get over because he's so obnoxious looking and sounding that people will watch to see him get beat up.

Kind of don't know where Santino fits at the moment. I love the guy, but he seems sort of out of place. I'd like to see him in a real feud, I guess. I kind of think that him vs. Zeb Colter could be interesting. Obviously not with Colter always playing an in-ring role, but Colter spewing off about "I-talians" could keep him on television. He'd just need a heel to put in the ring with Santino while Swagger is injured.

Santino vs. Cesaro? I know you're not big on Cesaro, but Santino's personality makes up for two wrestlers. An Italian clown vs. a serious Swiss soldier would radiate mid-card, but that's fine. Maybe even have Cesaro bring back the European Championship, not as a sanctioned title, but as a mere prop for the feud?

I'm with you on this. Hawkins has cut his hair and Ryder has switched back to similar ring attire to what Hawkins wears. The two basically look like a tag team that aren't teaming, but also happen to be a former team and were fucking champions together.

Would love to see a Ryder & Hawkins vs. Epico & Primo feud. I'm not sure how you feel about Epico & Primo, but I find Epico a solid talent and Primo one of the most underrated on the roster -- even at garnering reactions from crowds. For a guy who has had almost zero character development, he manages to get a few "Primo Sucks" chants going even after being a plucky babyface the week before.

There's a weird histroy between Zack Ryder and Primo, too. Ryder and Primo were once "Team DZP" together, and had very little success. Ryder also used to have a crush on Rosa Mendes, who is now in the corner of Epico & Primo. Neither team is really "heavy" enough to be a challenger to The Shield anytime soon, but seeing these guys fight on Superstars, Main Event and even SmackDown in a variety of matches could be entertaining and be surprisingly over.

I agree with this as well. Slater works so well in the role he is in. Don't be a Slater Hater, babaaaaaaaay!

I was of the opinion a few months ago that Slater should never, ever turn babyface, but recently I've entertained the thought that one day, Slater's "gets his ass kicked but comes back for more" attitude could really make him an endearing babyface. A series of wins out of the blue a few years from now might actually get Slater really over.

First thing I thought of when I saw this thread.

Slater's voice is pretty unbearable lol. He's perfect in where he is. I would like to see them go in deeper to the 3MB group and have them maybe do a concert on Raw and when they go to play, none of them can actually play so they sound terrible, but they think they're awesome. Kind of the whole "heels who think they are faces". Slater's run with the legends was something to look forward to every week even though you knew the end result because of the promo he'd cut and his facial expressions were funny as hell.

Here's my problem with Santino. Whoever he feuds with he drags down. Santino needs to be a heel, because as a face he just makes whatever heel he feuds with look weak and stupid. Cesaro would suffer the same thing and that has nothing to do with Cesaro and everything to do with Santino's current character. He doesn't improve the heel.

That makes sense. Santino's face character, while over, seems too fluky to ever mean anything if you beat him, and it makes you look foolish if you lose to him.

Honestly, it's like feuding with Hornswoggle. You lose either way.

Feuding with Hornswoggle, maybe; but I've always wanted to see a heel just midget toss him for heat.
