Got this thread idea from another board..... let's get Jerry Springer up in here and don't hold back.



Reggaeton sucks.

There is so many new and local bands around, catering to some scene and they are skilled enough to write songs and play on stage but yet many new and local bands seem to lack the will to be creative or push limits. They just seem to enjoy playing the music that they already like or grew up on. Nobody cares about version 3.0 of some band you like. If you borrow styles/get influenced by a sound- give them your own touch.

Being heavier and faster doesn't always automatically make a band "better" than another.

KMFDM haven't had anything to grab my attention since WW3. And that was mediocre to be honest. For the most part I like them but they make Slayer jealous with the way they stick to a style.

Raymond Watts/PIG is better than KMFDM.

30 Seconds to Mars are cheesy. I like Leto better as an actor.

Metallica are good for the most part but overrated.

Slayer are cool but once you heard a few albums, you heard them all.

Metal has cool bands but as a genre/lifestyle it's over credited by the hard headed side of that fanbase.

Scenes are annoying in general.

The new Smashing Pumpkins band are still awesome.

I might like Rob Zombie a bit more than White Zombie.

It's annoying when rappers like Eminem try to sing in the choruses.

Chris Brown needs to punch more R&B singers for being annoying and then punch himself for sucking.

Pink Floyd sucked.

Skrillex is the shit.

Tiesto owns all.

Swedish House Mafia is the greatest band ever.

You know who really sucked? Korn and all those nu metal bands.

Tupac? Most shittiest and depressing rap singer ever. Lil Wayne and Kanye West are MILES ahead of Tupac in every way possible, 10 times over. Tupac was a no talented hack.

Dubstep is for noobs

Liking Tiesto is like fucking a fat chick among hardcore EDM fans. You love him but you never say it in public.

Not that I agree with that notion, but to say a genre "all sounds the same" while being an EDM fan is kind of ironic.

Basically to be good KMFDM needs at least 2 of these three people: Raymond Watts, Gunter Shultz, En Esch. Without them KMFDM is worthless. And yes Pig has always been better than KMFDM in my book.

Classic rock sucks and metal is boring as hell.

Dubstep sucks.

Hall and Oates own your ass.

So does Huey Lewis.

Gangnam Style is awesome as hell.

Prince is not the least bit interesting.

A musician does not have to be on drugs to be good, but a musician who is on drugs and quits drugs will be less good from that point forward.
