Tazz Dan Presents: Money In The Bank 2013 - The whole F'N Show

This Morning, or tonight depending on your location in the world, Philadelphia comes to life for the annual MiTB PPV, and marks the return of one paritcular man......

So please, join me in this celebration in what has unofficially in my eyes, become one of the Big 4 PPV's.

Corporate CockSnogger 07-14-2013 05:00 PM

I will be joining the good people of TPWW for this PPV. It'll be the first bit of wrestling I'll have seen for a while but Money in the Bank is usually at least interesting enough to keep my attention.

P.S. RVD is boring.

Always one of the better ppvs WWE produces a year.

IMO, Money In The Bank surpassed Survivor Series as one of the 'big 4' a few years back.

Frank Drebin 07-14-2013 05:04 PM

An all heel WHC MITB match, eh?

Hope this crowd is hot.

slik 07-14-2013 05:08 PM

It's in Philly.

They'll be hot.

This thread could make or break my entire campaign!

I won't even go into how nobody in that WHC Money in the Bank match should be anywhere near a world title any time soon except maybe Ambrose... oops.

Damn straight. After that shoddy 'WWYRHSRW' (Who Would You Rather Have Sexual Relations With?) series you did, that comment could be the straw that breaks the camels back in your campaign.

slik 07-14-2013 05:16 PM

I am curious to see if the one-year ppv losing streak of The Ryback comes to a close tonight. His last ppv win was the Handicap Match against Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks.

Hope so. Been looking forward to these last two ppvs since they were in smarky cities. MITB in Philly with RVD coming back should give us the crowd we want.

Shisen Kopf 07-14-2013 05:23 PM

I like Mark Henry, so sick of Cena.

I'm a very much self-confessed RVD fan. I'm trying to imagine the reaction he's going to get, but I still think I'm going to be overwhelmed.

Frank Drebin 07-14-2013 05:25 PM

Feel like we are gonna get a huge "Let's go Henry" chant tonight.

Celebrity breasts are the foundation of my rise. I may need a new plan for this thread though.

I hope CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and Rob Van Dam all bring the case down simultaneously and agree to form a deadly trio to take down that nasty John Cena and then eventually have a triple threat iron man match to determine the winner of the belt.

I also hope Curtis Axel destroys that terrible wrestler The Miz and goes on to have a 7 year intercontinental title reign and then eventually wins the WWE title at Wrestlemania. It's what his father deserved!

mike adamle 07-14-2013 05:25 PM

Philly hasn't been a very good crowd in years.

Motherfuckin' extravaganza of competitors vying for briefcase supremacy tonight.

Title matches also going on

Plenty of other shit going on as well

Hyped up crowd that will probably be doing shit while shit is going on

slik 07-14-2013 05:27 PM

The only thing i've ever really had against is RVD is how stupid he looks when he hits his finisher.

He rolls around the ring like he just broke his ribs. If it hurts that fucking much get a different finisher.

Corporate CockSnogger 07-14-2013 05:33 PM

I don't even have a legitimate reason for disliking him, to be fair. I've just never been interested in much that he's done. Saying that I've never seen any of his ECW stuff so I can't really judge him completely.

slik 07-14-2013 05:46 PM

I am really curious to see who wins the 'all-heel MITB' match.

I'd like for it to be Sandow, but I'd be equally fine with it being Barrett.

Actually, I don't have a problem with any of the competitors involved winning, outside of Jack Swagger, because he's already 'been there, done that'.

I've never had an issue with it, purely for the fact he's acknowledging that landing on another human body does hurt. That and he's willing to put himself through pain to win a match.

Corporate CockSnogger 07-14-2013 05:53 PM

I like pretty much all the guys involved but not one of them is on "Main Event" level yet, and some probably never will be. I guess the main gripe I have though boils down to bad booking and the general state of the WHC belt currently, with it being no more than a midcard title now.

Whatever though, it'll be a fun match and I guess I don't really watch enough anymore to care all that much who wins.

I'm down to sacrifice my TIPSTERS points in hopes that Henry wins via my support and the support of others

Corporate CockSnogger 07-14-2013 06:49 PM

Dunno, Bryan vs Cena as the Summerslam main event is a huge deal for Bryan, especially if he picks up the win.

Bryan vs Henry or Cena vs Henry in a rematch as the main event doesn't really have a big feel to it.

MIZantine Empire 07-14-2013 06:54 PM

im normally not the guy who asks about this, but any available streams tonight? I don't feel like waiting for my usual site to upload the videos later on due to me having to work an 11 hour shift tomorrow. thanks in advance!

Mr. Nerfect 07-14-2013 07:03 PM

I'm not the biggest RVD mark around. Back when he was in the WWE, I got that he was "cool," but I was just never that into him. That being said, having him win Money in the Bank and cash in on John Cena to close the show would be a pretty amazing ending to a PPV. Especially if you have Brock Lesnar cost CM Punk and Daniel Bryan the match (he dumps the ladder as Punk and Bryan are fighting on top of it). You then have the added drama of RVD possibly being a Paul Heyman Guy. You put him in face vs. face matches against top guys over the next few months and enjoy the ride.

CM Punk could also win the red briefcase, because he's The Best in the World and it'd be pretty impressive for him to be the only multi-time winner of the match as well as a three-time winner. Punk cashing in in Philly on John Cena would be tremendous too. You'd probably do Punk vs. Cena vs. Lesnar for the WWE Title at SummerSlam, which is a pretty huge match and could continue the story of who Paul Heyman is going to help. He can imply it doesn't matter who wins, as long as Cena loses and then cost Punk the title to Lesnar, setting up a one-on-one match between the two for Night of Champions.

Daniel Bryan winning the WWE Championship contract would no doubt be cool. A lot of people are expecting him to announce that he will face John Cena ahead of time at SummerSlam, but I think the Philly crowd will hate the idea of John Cena retaining the WWE Title and not having to contend with anyone. If they want to do Bryan vs. Cena at SummerSlam, how about they have Henry pin Cena with a series of World's Strongest Slams to emphatically become the new WWE Champion. Henry roars in victory when Daniel Bryan's theme hits, and Bryan heads to the ring and says he doesn't want to wait any longer to be the WWE Champion. Bryan asks Philly if they want him to cash in right there and then. "YES! YES! YES!"

Henry's all mad, but stands and fights. Bryan's speed and kicks manage to allow him to get some shots in as the crowd is hopefully going nuts. Bryan cuts Henry down and begins to kick his chest, but Henry catches a leg of Bryan, picks up Bryan and backs him into the corner. He takes a second to regather himself and charges in, but Bryan dodges and goes back to the kicks, following it up with the roundhouse to the head. Bryan covers Henry, but Mark powers out at two, sending Bryan flying, but Bryan simply starts bobbing his head with his "in the zone" thing he's been doing. Bryan goes for The YES! Lock on Henry, and even manages to lock it in perhaps, but Henry just powers Bryan right out. As he's getting back to his feet, however, Bryan jumps right into a guillotine choke attempt on Henry, who manages to get to a vertical basis even with Bryan on him, and then clasps his arms around Bryan's back, locking him in a bear hug. It becomes a war of attrition, as Bryan keeps his choke in, but is clearly under the pressure from Henry, who has got the power advantage, but he's losing air fast and Henry drops to one knee as Bryan screams "YES!". The referee checks Henry's arm -- once, twice...no, Henry manages to spring to life and tosses Bryan around into a World's Strongest Slam. Henry takes in the oxygen and begins to laugh to himself, realiszing that he almost lost the WWE Championship on the night he finally won it. Henry hooks the leg, 1-2-Bryan kicks out! Henry cannot believe it. JBL, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler act like kicking out of the World's Strongest Slam is like kicking out of a nuclear explosion. Henry, in a rage, hits Bryan with a big splash and covers again. Bryan, yet again, manages to shock everybody by kicking out. Henry can't believe it. He grabs the referee and gives them a World's Strongest Slam. Hopefully the crowd is booing like crazy for that. Henry just laughs to himself but then turns around into an Attitude Adjustment from a recovered John Cena. "What a sore loser!" - JBL. Daniel Bryan, holding his ribs, manages to see the downed Henry in position for his Flying Headbutt. Bryan hits the move just as another referee has head down to the ring. Bryan gets the cover, but Henry kicks out at two. This kick-out actually shocks Bryan for a moment, as even he is taken out of his bubble for a moment. Bryan looks over at the recovering Henry, and then slaps him across the face. The announcers are confused as to why Bryan just did that, but their questions are answered when a pissed off Henry goes for The World's Strongest Slam right away, only for Bryan to float around and use Henry's own momentum to get him down and in position for The YES! Lock again. Henry goes to power out like he did earlier, but Bryan uses his leg to repeatedly kick Henry in the head. Henry may even try to power out one more time, but Bryan again goes backs to the kicks from The YES! Lock position and pulls right back. Henry has to eventually tap and Daniel Bryan has become the new WWE Champion. Bryan celebrates as Henry begins to recover and get to his feet. Bryan's music is cut and he gets a microphone. He tells Mark that it was nothing personal, but he just felt that this was his moment tonight. He offers his hand to Henry but warns him not to try and World's Strongest Slam him, because he's got a counter for it. Henry thinks about it and then shakes Bryan's hand and gives him a hug. Henry gets on the mic and says that it don't matter how long it were for -- Mark Henry was the damn WWE Champion. He swells up with tears and presumably gets a nice, respectful reaction from the WWE Universe. He then charges Bryan from behind and knocks him to the mat. He then picks Bryan up and hits the new WWE Champion with The World's Strongest Slam. "Nothing personal, Daniel. It's just what I do!"

The immediate story is Daniel Bryan vs. Mark Henry, with Henry and Cena facing each other on RAW to decide who gets to name when they get their rematch. Henry and Cena probably do the exact same match as they did at Money in the Bank, maybe with a little expanded storytelling, but Henry ends up getting frustrated and getting himself purposely disqualified. "It don't matter when I get my title match! I'm winning it back!" He proceeds to try and hurt Cena, but Daniel Bryan hits the ring and starts kicking Henry. Mark shoves Bryan off him or something and goes to charge him, but Bryan low-bridges Henry over the top rope and then hits a suicide dive on Henry before getting back in the ring and leading the fans in a "YES!" chant. Cena and Bryan then have a stare-down to close the show.

Week two sees Bryan face Henry in Henry's contractual rematch, and there Bryan cleanly retains the title, however they want to do that, and from there we head towards Bryan vs. Cena at SummerSlam.

Heisenberg 07-14-2013 07:03 PM

thank Slik as well for it, he hooked me up with it 1-2 months ago, I still have another place in case that one hits the pooper

Theo Dious 07-14-2013 07:07 PM

Needs to be a sign that says "IF CENA WINS WE RIOT 'CAUSE THAT'S WHAT WE DO"

Mr. Nerfect 07-14-2013 07:08 PM

tl;dr version:

* Mark Henry could beat John Cena cleanly, get his technical WWE Title victory, and then you could have Daniel Bryan cash-in on Henry right there and then, working a big man/little man match with tons of memorable false finishes that make both look like beasts. Bryan wins the title after kicking the living fuck out of him while he has the big man down and forces him to submit to The YES! Lock, probably only semi-consciously.

My reasoning for this:

* Philly are going to be pissed if Cena walks out of this PPV as WWE Champion. Well, maybe not the entire crowd. Maybe the WWE doesn't even care. But the best possible moment might be having Mr. Money in the Bank cash in. If it's RVD or CM Punk -- I'd have them cash in on Cena -- but a Daniel Bryan cash in on Henry could be amazing in execution, even if the idea doesn't seem that grand. The idea would be for Bryan to have a TV mini-feud with Henry to initially put Bryan over as the WWE Champion, but the test in facing the franchise comes at SummerSlam, with Bryan defending against poster boy, John Cena.

Mr. Nerfect 07-14-2013 07:10 PM

Also, not entirely sure The Shield are going to have a successful night. Something tells me that The Usos might win the Tag Team Championship. Even the announcers haven't given them much chance, so I could see them getting a token win to try and sell the shock of them getting to The Shield's level. There's like no more face teams for The Shield to face, unless you want to put Randy Orton & Sheamus together.

MIZantine Empire 07-14-2013 07:10 PM

thanks Heisenberg! your avatar makes me feel like a have to watch it or I will be broken, in a very bad way..lol

Mr. Nerfect 07-14-2013 07:17 PM

I'm also wondering that while Ryback needs a fucking win so fucking badly, that it might just be better to put Chris Jericho over and build Jericho for the next time he puts over a young gun. You know, someone that doesn't urgently need a win just to keep their head above water.

I'm not saying that Ryan Reeves the performer is ruined or anything. They seem to be trying to do things to get him super-heat with audiences -- they clearly want this "Cryback" thing to work. But putting the "Cryback" over Jericho won't really help him, because he won't need any credibility. The less he has the better, probably. Even if the idea is to show how cunning and smart Ryback can be, with this whole leg injury shit, it still won't make Ryback look that good if he wins.

I say have Jericho get the win after hitting two Codebreakers (one only stuns the big man) and a Lionsault for the pin. Ryback at least looks good absorbing all that punishment, and Jericho looks like a cagey veteran who can get it done. Then he goes on to put over Curtis Axel and the Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship.

Idea two: Ryback actually doesn't wrestle Chris Jericho. He has a doctor's note or something and says that he's not going to compete until he gets permission. Jericho is announced the winner via forfeit. Jericho gets on the mic and says he didn't come all the way to this wrestling city to win a match because his opponent is a coward. He wants to face someone here tonight, baby! You then do an impromptu match with Chris Jericho facing somebody. My mind immediately went to Bray Wyatt, although I think a mere promo would be enough to get Wyatt over at the PPV. A vanity match with Jericho facing one of his favorite opponents to work with could be fun. A Jericho vs. Regal match, or something like that, but that might be more my pipe-dream than Jericho's.

Mr. Nerfect 07-14-2013 07:21 PM

I hope AJ Lee and Kaitlyn get time at this PPV. I feel like they could have a really good match if given time, and that the Philly crowd might actually be pretty into it. I feel like a No DQ stipulation should be in place here, and I'm worried that AJ Lee will retain by disqualification. Yes, it will further the story, but I think Kaitlyn needs to have a grip here and really should get the title back. AJ can then scheme how to get it back in coming weeks, with Dolph dumping her because she only cares about herself and her title situation.

Maybe, since we are in ECW town, they can do a backstage segment where Kaitlyn shows Brad Maddox her tits to get the match changed to a No Disqualification, No Countout Match?

I've got a lot of weird predictions/fantasies for this PPV. :shifty:

Corndad 07-14-2013 07:29 PM

If Kaitlyn, Daniel Bryan, and Barrett win tonight I may cause my wife a pregnancy with the amount of juices that will be splooged but I have a feeling only one (Bryan) is actually happening.

Corporate CockSnogger 07-14-2013 07:32 PM

I'm actually quite excited for this, even though its only really the ladder matches I'm interested in. 1am, wide awake, beer in hand, and this might be the first ppv I've watched on my new big tv. Shame it's only on a stream mind you, but wrestling with a perfectly clear picture always seems weird to me now anyway lol

Wow, the main announce team on the pre-show.

Corporate CockSnogger 07-14-2013 07:36 PM
