Bold Prediction: Cena aligns with Vince and turns heel at Summerslam
This isn't a"Cena should turn heel" thread. This is a Cena WILL turn heel thread.
I'm never wrong, so you can pretty much take this to the bank? |
I'm thinking that, or HHH, Vince, and Orton align at cash in on Bryan
|
The Corporation returns
|
He turns heel and faces Percy Watson in his first feud leading to Watson becoming the face of the company right?
|
i'll try not to get my hopes up
|
This match has a "something has to break and will break all over your kitchen floor" type feel to it. I don't see everyone involved coming out acting in the same direction and if Cena turns, that turn could usher in a new era of feels.
|
I don't see Cena turning heel but Orton/Vince/HHH are pretty logical possibilities.
|
I have a feeling everyone will end up disappointed.
|
I wish Cena brought up HHH kinda screwing him last time he was the special referee.
|
I won't be disappointed, as long as someone gets drop kicked, I'm golden
It has a feel to it, something that makes your pubes stand up. feels good on the brain |
I just hope Summer Slam isn't as predictable as Bryan winning the title, then Orton Cashing in.

I foresee The Shield taking out Triple H before the match even starts and getting replaced with Maddox by Vince and it opens the door for Orton to get an easy cash in to win the WWE Championship.
|
I hope Cena wins cleanly via STF.

ur a terrible person cocksnogger
|
I am thinking this:
Triple H seems to be going back and forth throughout match... after Bryan makes Cena tap he is celebrating and accidentally hits Triple H leading to Triple H leveling him with a punch-kind of a reflex thing. A pissed off Vince storms the ring in a ref shirt with Orton in tow. The bell rings for Orton to cash-in. Orton beats on Bryan a bit and misses an RKO. Several moves later Bryan reverses a move to the Yes Lock. Vince immediately calls for the bell. (They like reliving the screw job). Bryan and Vince leave and pose at top of ramp. Bryan is the new Corporate Champion. -For the record doesn't have to be totally logical... this is WWE isn't it? |
Guys. John Cena is heel right now.

Cena will never turn heel. If anything, Orton/HHH/Vince would align and Cena would get beaten badly so he can take time off. Then he'll come back as the triumphant hero.

After every event, no shit, briefcase fetish 4 life |
Orton siding with McMahon or Trips would really throw logic out the window (yeah go ahead give me shit)
Orton did punt Vince, and Shane, RKO'd Steph and kissed her, while Triple H was handcuffed, then he hit Trips with his own sledgehammer, while handcuffed still. (Build to WM25) |
is logic something that usually dictates the course of action in wrestling?
|
He's not turning heel. If Cena turns heel at Summerslam I will change my username to Iginfest.

I think Cena is definitely losing the title and I could some combination of Orton, HHH or McMahon turning heel and aligning.
|
I hope its not a 30 second reign for Bryan. If they are going to give the title to Orton I hope Bryan vs Cena is a DQ finish with Orton "injuring" Cena and taking the title via MITB, aligning with Vince, which allows Bryan to pursue the title he was screwed out of.
|
Orton sides with HHH, cashes in, wins.
Cena and Bryan team up and go after all of them. Cena teaming with the most over guy on the roster, to make people not boo him, as much. Cena turning heel is t happening, Bryan turning isn't happening. Only person left is Orton, who has been in limbo forever. |
If Cena turns heel, then he'll get cheered and will be a face. Woah!!

Can this be the official Summerslam Spazz out thread when the match goes down without any shenanigans and everyone flips out saying how terrible a ppv it was?
|
Feel like WWE never gives a proper payoff to anything. They always do something way off from what they obviously should do then everyone is just like "hey guys, lets just see where this goes." And then it goes nowhere.
|
Bold Prediction (Brought to you by Doritos Jacked™, the Bigger, Bolder Chip): Christian wins the WHC, then gets inserted into this match by Vince and unifies the titles.
|
Yeah me thinks Cena loses to Bryan. Vince comes out and helps Orton beat Bryan and cash in. Cena goes and gets surgery. Bryan rebels against Orton and Macmahon.

Think with Triple H suddenly getting directly involved in the match, if anyone is turning its going to be him and Orton.
If Cena didn't need to leave for surgery, then Bryan would have been more likely to turn of the two. Cena won't be turning until the WWE actually has someone ready who can match the huge numbers Cena generates as the company's cash cow. Bryan isn't there yet but is slowly becoming a possible legit option in the future. |
After the stuff on Raw my worst fear is they put Cena over Bryan so that Bryan has to respect and acknowledge Cena as a wrestler.
I'm down with HHH turning to align with Orton and Vince or anything that doesn't end in Vince vs. HHH being the bigger picture. |
Something big is going to happen that will result in multiple turns.
|
I think we are looking at Orton/HHH/Vince and maybe others down the line in a new corporation. I want that, just not this Sunday.

Could always be a swerve or doing it at the behest of his wife. They have so much history together. |
I've been getting the same feeling as Gertner. Yeah, the Cena heel turn stuff comes up a lot, but the pieces are all in place for it. Bryan is the hottest act going today and is perpetually over at this point. His act can be marketable towards the kiddies, whereas CM Punk's never really seemed to get there (although they are doing a great job keeping Punk over as a face this time). Cena's been doing the same thing and is your prototypical WWE Champion. There is no reason that Vince and Triple H would not want him as WWE Champion.
While the moment will be shocking, it'd make total sense from the storyline perspective. If Triple H screwed Bryan at SummerSlam, then Daniel Bryan could go immediately for Triple H and wrestle him at a few PPVs while Cena heels it up against some face guys. CM Punk in the short term? Then there's Randy Orton. I can see them having him be involved and become WWE Champion, keeping both Cena and Bryan face -- but that feels more predictable and actually makes less sense. Why would Vince want Orton over Cena? But I think it targets the audience they want. I think the best story would be Orton being shown unconscious during the show, preventing him from being able to cash in the briefcase regardless of what happens. Speculation abounds as to who was behind the attack and whether it was Bryan or Cena. If you turn Cena heel, then you can have Orton remain face and go against the Corporation, with the attack either being Cena or The Shield. Orton would remain a cool, renegade babyface who holds a candle of hope against Cena's reign, given that he can cash in at any time. |

People have been thinking that Cena is going to turn heel at every big PPV for the last 6 years, by the way.
|
Ok, to add on to my Orton/Briefcase pitch, he holds the damn thing in the air, proud as fuck, like he just gave birth to it, and holds that pose until everyone leaves the arena. That is dedication.
Damn Orton, sitting on a gold mine |

I think I'd probably get more entertainment from the spazz outs if Cena wins though than I would from watching the match, so hopefully they give it to Cena. |
Cena can turn heel now he's on Total Divas
|
Cena snaps and b-cums a badass submission machine

Cena would be amazing as a heel.
I was thinking the other day that it could be kind of cool if Bryan beats Cena and Orton in the same night to win and retain the WWE Championship. It would be a pretty epic moment for the guy and would cement him firmly at the top. If they choose to have Bryan not leave SummerSlam as WWE Champion and keep Cena face, I hope Triple H turns on Bryan and then Orton cashes in on Cena. Then they can do Orton vs. Cena and Triple H vs. Bryan at Night of Champions. |
HHH's interview praising Daniel Bryan makes me think he'll screw Byran.
http://www.tpww.net/2013/08/triple-h...slam-ref-role/ MATCH-WISE. :) That would follow the WWE mold of people saying exactly the opposite of what they mean when turning heel, as Christian showed us during the July 22, 2011 Smackdown: http://wrestlingclique.com/booker/15...new-era-3.html |
