I really need to get signs involved in my life. I think if I ever propose, it will be by using a sign that says MARRIAGE I and I just point to it from a ring.

Late entry for favorite thread of the year right here, I love when ppl point at things. It's one of the most enjoying actions I partake in.

I believe that the winner of the WWE World Championship match at WrestleMania will be the first to point. I almost typed the Royal Rumble Winner, but if the sign is there and the World Title match comes before it, I think the champion will have the opportunity to point first. And I'm going to predict that champion will be John Cena. Tempted to say Randy Orton, because I think that the tensions between Orton and The Authority could be a work to screw over John Cena, but it's also possible that we're meant to think that things are tense, but sort of okay between Orton and The Authority so if they screw him over we get shocked.

I'm liking this early build to The Road to WrestleMania (we're not really on it yet), because there seems to be a few set paths the company could take with clear lines drawn out for each one, but it depends on which one they take. It's not all a big mess (like for example when Chris Jericho returned at the end of 2007 and really needed that win against Orton but it would have muddled everything).

That being said, the WrestleMania card could be completely random right up until three weeks until the event...

Scott Hall is probably the best pointer in professional wrestling's history.

Not going to lie, no offence to the originator of the gimmick, but I think Hunico even does a better job at pointing.

I dunno, I'm kind of a fan of the point while fist is horizontal rather than vertical. I know Macho Man Randy Savage would have something to say about that as the inventor of pointing.

Triple H would be my guess for the first to point. He points quite a bit whenever a WM sign is near

Triple H does a good WrestleMania point. Not a good general point, but he makes it seem like he can't wait to rip someone's head off at the event.

I like William Regal's general pointing. Like after he does his throat slit thing. The point isn't emphasized -- it's just a generalized "I'm going to kill you" point.

"This" and "That" emphasized with the pointing gesture also goes a long way in driving the "point" into the action.

With the excitement of the relevance and irony, I'm down, or I'm an event. I'll test the theory and go print a WrestleMania sign for next year and see if ppl come in and point at that or me

Liking the energy to pointing season so far. I do think someone has to debut the Scott Hall point to the sign though.

I posted a vid of me pointing at my puppies in 100k earlier this year. Pointing is healthy and obviously warrants a contest. Especially when WrestleMania sign gets in on the action.

The only reason the 2011 Rumble was 40 men was because of the WWE wanting to do a stable war between the New Nexus and Corre during the Rumble but instead all that happened was a pre-match brawl.
