I'm watching Starrcade '86: Night of the Skywalkers

I've honestly never seen the entire broadcast before, just the one hour home video version.

I can't believe how good it looks for being 28 years old. WWE really does a great job in taking care of the old footage and preserving it.

Watched a bit of Starrcade 97, One Night Stand 05 and watching the "live" WrestleMania 1 right now.

I'm watching Doink the Clown v. Koko B. Ware from a Raw in 1993. All of that content, and this is where I am.

do you think it ever bothers Vince that the lowest days of WWE ratings wise was when he became the play by play man? think it crushes his ego that gorilla and brain and jesse were adored then he stunk up the joint , then he turns It over to JR and boom biggest boom in business history?

for being as old as it is, it looks fantastic! I am still blown away at the picture quality on all these old classic shows that WWE preserved.

Last night I was watching Tuesday Night In Texas. Jake Roberts vs Randy Savage is one of my favorite feuds of all time, awesome to relive the slap to Elizabeth.

I logged on today and the first thing I see is the Repo Man stealing Macho's hat. I'm in heaven.

Haven't been able to enjoy any of the video on demand content on my PS3 yet. It usually either gives an error or loads only the rating/warning. The few times it has worked, it's been an unwatchable repeat of a few seconds of video followed by 1+ minute of frozen lag time.

Jericho has a Y2J theme at Halloween Havoc 98. I understand why, but it just looks funny.

Don't think it's on there and don't think it will be. Personally I would love the Eddie memorial shows. What the network needs is chapters if I want to watch a single match from a ppv I should be able to go straight to it

WWE picked him up after they bought WCW. He was sent down to HWA Developmental to train. They ended up releasing him in July 2002.

He ended up retiring from active competition around 2003. He now makes tights and boots for other wrestlers. He once in awhile does put on the tights and wrestle.

It bugged me they didn't do anything with him outside of shuffling him off to developmental, that's my point. I know 2001/2 was a different time but I think he could have been used..

First thing watched was Halloween Havoc 1998 (?). The one where Goldberg vs. DDP got cut off. Opening match is Raven vs. Jericho.

Next on the list is probably SummerSlam (92?), "Match made in heaven and a match made in hell" First ppv I ever watched.

Survivor Series 1990. Man I wished they would go all teams again and have a Sole Survior Match at the end with all the winners. That was the tits.

I liked Dutch Mantell. He was a good brawler imo.

He was awesome in the old Memphis territory as both face and heel. He pretty much homesteaded for most of his career in Memphis.

This was a good segment with him and Jerry Lawler from 1982.

War Games 95. How terrible was the Dungeon of Doom lol

Were the Steiner bros sloppy? Watching the old raw against two jobbers and can't tell if the guys weren't athletic enough to take the suplexes well or if the steiners mailed it in or didn'tcare ? This is when Scott was when Scott was still mobile but did they have a history of being sloppy in the ring?

They weren't sloppy to me as a kid, they were very stacked and had that collegiate wrestling look that made you look forward to their technical moves and all.

I loved the Beverly Brothers round that time too. I don't know what happened to them.

I'm not going to be home until May or June, but I plan on subscribing to WWE Network on my PS3 within the first hour of my arrival.

Is anyone using the WWE Network on their PS3? If so, how is it working? I assume any bugs will be mostly fixed by June.

Also, how is the interface? Is it like Netflix or something completely different? As a lover of old PPV's, I'm dying to get my hands on this thing.

Also makes me feel like a fool for having stacks and stacks of old WCW/WWF/ECW PPVs on VHS in my closet and refusing to get rid of them for years.

Watching Wrestlewar '91.....had no idea there was a WCW six man tag team championship.
