I have never seen him have a good match he wasn't dragged to by the likes of Steamboat, Savage or Hennig. Every single one of his matches are the same, including that ridiculous corner spot where he runs across the apron, climbs the buckles and gets tossed off (ahem).
Watching him on Legends of Wrestling, he comes across as an egomaniacal wankbadger.

WOOOOOOOOO!! Flair is just old school. Never been a very technically sound in ring wrestler IMO but that can be said about several wrestlers from his time period and he has opened many doors personality/character wise for the future of the business especially as a heel. But if you look at it the way you do, you could also say the same about Hulk Hogan in my opinion.

Seen one Flair match, seen them all. Also think he's incredibly overrated on the mic.

Said this before, but most guys from that era are egomaniacal, self promoting pricks. There are exceptions to the rule, like Steamboat and Terry Funk, but for the most part they were assholes.

Looking back on old video of Flair, I really enjoyed his mic work since it was so fresh and new. He's really built more on swagger and finesse than actual ring ability, similar to the Rock, although I think Rock is the superior athlete between the two.

You can hate Ric Flair but you can't hate those robes.

He bled like a bitch. But in EVERY big match. Because every match was the same. From that corner spot to that stupid delayed front bump. He was unbelievable as a title threat and surrounded himself with better wrestlers in the Horsemen to keep himself relevant. I include Paul Roma in that.
