As per the dirtsheets, Brian Hebner was not aware of the decision. It is believed that the decision was that of Dixie Carter and not Magnus. The only people to know about the title change (before hand), were Dixie, Magnus and Eric. Have you guys seen the "shocked Magnus guy" yet? Top notch meme material.

Apparently Dixie missed the main event as she had gone to hospital after the previous match with Bully Ray, who had suffered a concussion and wondered why the fuck he still worked for TNA.

If I can be serious for a minute.... this was a pretty good episode of Impact Wrestling.

Eric Young has been built up as legit tough the past few weeks. In addition to still kind of crazy. I would have built him up some more before taking the title, but in a way this is good too just because of the "surprise"/"shock"/"anything can happen in TNA" factor.
I was not a fan at all of Magnus' title reign. For the first time since it began I am excited to tune into TNA next week. |

I can only think of James storm and aj styles.. They are two of the few originals.. Can't quite recall who else left is an original, or homegrown due to tapping out to sleep..:wave:

I do watch TNA, but I think they see how the WWE has HUGE ratings with a bearded guy as champ, and followed suit to see how they'd do.

If I were starting up some kind of company to be a global force in wrestling, I would probably try my absolute best to snatch up Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian.

There's no reason WWE shouldn't take Bad Influence into their tag division. You'd imagine even a low-ball offer from Vince would be better than what TNA have offered and they'd be a solid veteran presence to bring along the younger tag guys.

WWE is focusing on getting talent solely from the developmental system right now. They'll have some sort of splash in Global Force if Jeff can give the right price.

New Japan needs an infusion of some talent into the Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles division too.
