What WWE Superstar needs to leave TV?
 

Sometimes we get in these grooves where we love a wrestler and his gimmick. After time they either wear out their welcome or get taken from us due to death or injury. Which WWE Superstar do you think can benefit from being taken off TV for awhile and explain your reasonings or dream plans if you want. There's a couple out there that are obvious to me, but I wanted to see what you all think.

Reasons could be for:

Benefit

You hate them

You want them to get repackaged

You're jelly of them

etc.

Ziggler. He's had his chance and now that there is only one World title he'll never get another.

Sandow, Ziggler and Ryder could all shoot and leave for a few weeks, come back as a faction.

I see a lot of potential in Sandow, he has the aura of Rick Rude/Macho Man mixed with a Genius gimmick.

Ziggler reminds me of young HBK/Mr. Perfect

Ryder knows how to read fans and would be great as part of the group.

Rey Mysterio. For his own good.

Kofi. I have been saying this for years now. He's just so bland.

I was hoping he'd get a refresher character-wise after his injury.

RVD. I love the guy but he's done nothing to improve himself since 2001. Jericho at least changes it up when he returns, RVD is just there.

Santino. Just not funny anymore and there are better comedy characters out there.

The Funkadactyls. They're cheerleaders for nothing. Naomi/Trinity is the goods, but Cameron is horrible.

He plays his part though and is good at manipulating the crowd. Maybe his ultimate goal is to be the next Brooklyn Brawler.

A painted face will do him some good. Glow-in-the-dark paint during his entrance and a few "wooooos" are all he needs.

ziggles needs to disappear for a while and find his place.

Yeah Mysterio is fucked, push his appearances as special events and use him off camera.

He got to hang out with the Ultimate Warrior, I think that is something of merit. Ultimate Warrior just doesn't hang out with someone unless they have the power of the Warrior running through their veins.

Emma,fucking hate her dance and gimmick. She is decent in the ring. But everything else she does detracts from that.

Curtis Axel: so that Fandango can be done away with and we can get Johnny Curtis on the main roster.

Kofi: he's just there, same thing for the last 5 years. Let him go and bring Kenny King in.

The US Title belt: looks like this is already happening. They just won't mention the belt ever again and act like it never existed.

I was going to say Alberto Del Rio, but if he is in the EPA, then he is welcomed on my screen.

Id like Sandow to be paired with some dumbass who compleley annoys him but benefits him in the ring so he keeps him around. The interactions would be great.

I agree with Ziggler. He needs to go away for awhile and come back in a fresh hot angle.

Hes on the cusp. hes been spinning his wheels for a whole year and is still over.

It would be as easy as having Evolution attack him and write him out. Keep him off TV for 6-8 weeks. Then have Ziggler attack Orton or Batista when he comes back while they are heeling it up and attacking one person, and boom, easy angle thats been done 100 times but serves its purpose. He gets a big face pop return, and a hot feud with a top star.

Or make him Evolution's 4th man. Dude looks good in a suit.

nah, I dont see how making him thr 4th option in a group elevates him. He would still just be the 4th best guy in Evolution.

They should have one of the henchmen get caught sniffing Batista's gym bag and pan in on the guy's face when he gets caught. It'd be a mystery if they left it at that.

Could do without Kofi and Rey.

Being the hand-picked 4th man to represent the future of the business.

Or

Being used as an enhancement to whichever guy is getting the push this week.

Or being the face out for revenge and sticking it to the most dominant group in WWE history.

id say ryder but hes not even on tv ever to leave it so thats moot point

I'm not saying your scenario wouldn't work. It's just they kinda did that with Cody and Goldust last year and they got real hot real quick. Now look at them.

Yeah, Ryder's pretty much the Jobber to the Stars Du Jour, so it's fine if he stays on TV as far as I'm concerned, as he doesn't make the talent they're trying to build carry him and actually looks pretty good in most of those situations.

There are a few things they could do with Dolph Ziggler. They could have him feud with Alexander Rusev. Lana could get Rusev a match against Ziggler, pointing out that Ziggler is the only man who has defeated Rusev in one-on-one combat in his life. Ziggler's a good match for Rusev, and made him look fantastic in that match they had on NXT. Actually have Ziggler win the match they had, hitting a Zig Zag out of nowhere. He then makes a pass at Lana or something -- just a bit of development there to drive the big man even more nuts.

A Rusev/Ziggler feud would give Ziggler something to do, but it also locks Rusev into a program and doesn't just have him do the "Rusev crush" thing forever. As a character, Ziggler would work best as the Roadrunner, constantly getting away from Rusev. You can get at least two PPV encounters out of it.

Another option is to put Ziggler in a tag team with Tyson Kidd. Think about that one. Both are fantastic in-ring workers, and they can do this "We're sick of being overshadowed" thing. It'd be worth it just for the matches. And if it makes people care about Tyson Kidd, then it's worth it. Call them "The Workhorses" or something like that.

I'd say Drew MacIntyre because he's better tha belonging in 3mb.Have Ryder leave for the summer n come back in the fall revamped with a manager.Same with Ziggler.Santino should call it quits.

I am still bewildered at how after defeating Ryback at WM29, Ryback somehow become #1 contender to the WWE Title while Henry just goes off to feud with Sheamus.

He's pretty good at leaving TV. That's what he does.
