This may sound crazy coming from me but to the credit of this year's team it certainly looks different. I'm more into higher concept shooter than straight military, Battlefield being everything I want there, so I will be following this one. Awaiting the multiplayer reveal down the road.

Was about to say, at least there is much more fresh content than annual sports games.

Looks terrible. I loved COD4 MW and 2, didn't really get into 3. Will most likely avoid this one.

Loved the campaigns in MW 1 and 2. Haven't been able to match that standard since, but they were still pretty fun.

I passed on Ghosts but will get this one. Should have a new feel to it ,I'm sure there will be a bunch of new things for online.

CoD is not really my thing, but I was geeked for a second when I thought I was going to hear the syrupy-sweet southern drawl of Frank Underwood from mocap Spacey in that vid.

Looks ok, dunno whether I'll bother with it though. Never got Ghosts and didn't really enjoy Black Ops 2 that much.

Obvious comparison will be to Titanfall, but if you ask me, a CoD/Titanfall love child sounds pretty bad ass. I also like that they're bringing back Treyarch's additions to the franchise like Pick 10 Class (now Pick 13) and Scorestreaks.

I remember when CoD first came to 360 I would have to get into glitched lobbies just to get larger games with higher score requirements so they would last longer. Had a team with two other people that would wreck shit all day! God damn loved that game. Last CoD I cared for on MP was World At War.

Medal of Honor was my fav.

If I had the time I would go into the BLOPS 2 thread and find all of your whinging posts about how terrible the game was and how you returned it on something like 3 separate occasions. But I don't.

They worked on one of the expansion packs/games for CoD 2 called Big Red One (own the Gamecube version).

Think they or Activision admitted in the past that CoD 3 was extra rushed in order to make the PS3 and Wii launch dates. Something like 6 months or less they had to work on it.

No Wii U version is being made while the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions are being made by High Moon studio.

I love the fact that they're going beyond "vertical". Double jumping is SO 6 months ago, lets start hovering and dashing in the air.

The exo abilities sorta remind me of what Crysis attempted to do with their multi.

What it really means for me is the CoD twitchy pace now has players who are more interesting to shoot at. This appeals to me. I like movement options in a shooter. Way more than dolphin diving.

I fucking love this deal. I'll snag the game on 360 then head online and 'buy' the next gen version on the Xbox store online. I already have Destiny waiting for whenever I get an Xbox One.

I should be ready to go on Tuesday on 360, if anybody's even left on that platform.

I feel like rarely anyone has figured out that they can directional dash in midair. I never see anyone do it, and when I do it they seem to seriously be thrown off

I'm on the fence about getting it. I am really good at CoD. It helps with a lot of my issues. Especially the CoD 4:MW days. I was playing with a lot of guys I deployed with and nowadays they are not on the same console so I'm thinking that it was time to find a new crew to tear ppl apart with.

I went a good little while before Khuntry told me about the side/air dashing. Pretty much changed everything for me. I kept juking these two guys trying to get around my riot shield with dashes and air dashes until they were both killed by teammates. I really should have recorded that.

Can't believe people are so upset about pressing a button to complete an action in a game.

Update to PS4 version not having Share Play feature as Activision states the official reason it was disabled was due to them not having enough time to test it.

Last year's CoD Ghosts is also being reported to not use the feature either.

Early sales at least in the UK region revealed Advanced Warfare managed to sell a lot better than last year's Ghosts. Week One sales were higher than the combined Week One sales of Destiny, Titanfall, and Wolfenstein: The New Order.

After some "goading" from a coworker I finally grabbed this for PS3 and played a bit over the weekend. Seems mad fun so far. The double-jump is pretty rad, but of course it is because it was even back in UT. Regardless. The menus seem a bit contrived but I was eventually able to set my loadout and jump into some games. My first game as a rank 1 piece of shit I went like 14-10 against a bunch of rank 40/50 people and crap, did all right. Fun times.

Seems a lot of the "exo" stuff I didn't use at all. Gotta figure that crap out I guess
