I was a fan of Hall back in the day, and I wanna see him come out of this alive, but the honest truth is that he's had so many relapses in the past, and looking at his past behavior in WCW, I kinda feel "meh" about it all. If he survives, good for him, and maybe one day we'll see him make some kind of appearance on WWE television. If he doesn't survive, well... "meh". He's had a much better life than most, should count himself lucky for that.

I think you are objectively wrong about this on a couple of levels. People aren't disagreeing with you because they want to be alike, they're disagreeing with you because they happen to see how wrong you are in making assumptions and claiming to be tired of his bullshit when you don't know him and can only relate to him through watching him on television.

You asked, "How many chances does a man need?" implying that you think he has run out. There is no finite number of "chances". Scott Hall has as many chances his body can survive or to put it another way, you don't dictate his actions or the actions of those around him.

Do you have the right to feel the way you do? Certainly, but it's silly and it's our right to point that out.

Alternatively, people who feel betrayed by Chris Benoit's murderous action are similarly wrong. It's certainly fine and natural to be dismayed by the horror of it all, but none of us were personally betrayed.

If you were just disgusted with Scott Hall's (alleged actions) and decided to no longer care I think that would have been an easier position for us to accept. The anger you expressed, however, seems irrational.

Scott Hall got a lot of heat after he refused to sign a card for a six-year-old fighting terminal cancer. The boy, Danny Nickerson, is from Boston and at an autograph convention in Phoenix just about everyone there signed the card. The list included Bret Hart, Edge, Christy Hemme, Candice Michelle, Angelina Love, Lita, Sean Waltman, Maria Kanellis, Lisa Marie Varon, Taryn Terrell and Brooke Tessmacher and more, many of whom went on camera to give personalized wishes. You can see the video, which includes Goldberg being particularly emotional and saying to call him any time if he wanted to talk, below.
Hall refused to sign the card, which generated a ton of heat on him. The reaction from several people was that it was not only “incomprehensible” on its face, but also that Hall is particularly in the wrong because after all of his personal demons he got fans to pay for several surgeries through crowdfunding.
