If Silva loses this somehow, will it tarnish his legacy? Or will people just write it off as him maybe having a bum wheel?

Either way, I think Silva wins in the first round, second round at the latest.

I don't think it effects his legacy what so ever. He'll still go down as the greatest, but he's only human and time catches up with everyone.

A lot of comments are negative towards Silva's ability especially after the leg snap. If he loses they will still be saying he's washed up and if he wins the same people will say Diaz is rusty or not even that good in the first place. His doctor said the leg will be stronger than ever especially with a titanium rod inserted in there so I don't think it'll be a problem. The problem will be if he's back mentally after losing 2 in a row by a mistake and an injury. I personally hope we see the old Silva and also a new Silva get back to title contention and have one more shot at the title. If the champion is still Weidman if Silva makes that comeback then it's going to be one hell of story if he wins.

I never thought of it that far ahead, but the UFC should pray for that to happen. The story would be amazing.

There is no reason for Silva to not completely destroy Diaz. To me if he doesn't it is a sign he is nearly done. The Weidman fights do not indicate him being on a decline, this fight will if Diaz puts up a fight.
