Brock Lesnar is going to win at Summerslam and it's because of the WWE Network.
 

Gut feeling. Lesnar only works a set number of dates. Lesnar goes over at Summerslam. Heyman comes out on Raw saying "my client doesn't wrestle on free T.V. You want to see Brock, you're going to have to pay to see him. Lesnar only wrestles on PPV, Heyman spends time on Raw promoting his matches and the WWE uses it to push to Network.

Probably. I can't see Lesnar not winning regardless but once he does, he'll be a PPV only attraction like he has been. Just more blatant. Whether Heyman flat out says it or not.

Then again, Seth doesn't have to go over in his cash-in. He could always lose. Imagine Lesnar getting DQ'd for destroying Cena, Rollins comes out to cash-in and loses. The look on HHH's face would be priceless.

No. Lesnar-Cena brings a rare "big fight" feel even in a rubber match. Rollins-Cena brings a "Raw main event that I may or may not fall asleep to and definitely shouldn't be paying money to see" feel.

Would be great to see Lesnar/Cena go to HIAC with Lesnar beating Cena a third straight time. Might be the only time the "multiple HIACs" format works if we also get the blowoff of Ambrose/Rollins there too

Has to win, it'd be utterly stupid to have him beat the streak and then lose his next match to someone who doesn't need it.

If Lesnar could work full time until Mania I would love to see him beat Cena, cycle through 2-3 feuds, and then drop the title to Roman at Mania.

I've got a feeling he's gonna keep it til Mania and drop it then anyway. Not sure to who. Reigns is probably the leading candidate but I've got a feeling he's gonna keep losing steam and they're gonna second guess it.

It would be cool to see Lesnar with the strap again, but I really dislike the idea of a "part time champion".
The champion should be an active member of the roster. On TV every week (or at least every other week), in matches on a semi-regular basis (even if Teddy Long makes them tag matches), and needs to be able to be the face of the company where ever the company goes.

If Lesnar does win, how does he lose it? If he has beaten The Streak and "Superman" Cena, who is big enough to take him out? I don't see anyone being able to take it from him one-on-one, so he may have to hold it until Elimination Chamber or lost it at another PPV in a multi-man clusterfuck

Bryan should not be the one to take down Lesnar. He will be (if Punk doesn't end up coming back, anyways), but he shouldn't be. But I imagine he will return and they will use a win over Lesnar for the title to slingshot him back to the top where he was and where the fans want him. The only good out of this will be watching Lesnar and Heyman flip out about losing to the goatboy.

Reigns is an outside shot imo, I know this is WWE and he is super over, but he is too green in the ring right now for it. Wyatt may have a shot at it in a few months as well, as an interim feud, but I don't think he will win it either. Wyatt will be the one to take it from Bryan eventually, I think.

Agree about Lesnar winning but think the WWE would still have done something huge for SummerSlam regardless if Lesnar was there or not. Cena keeping the title wouldn't have been it if their goal is to entice new people into the Network and keeping the existing ones.

As long as it stays at 9.99 its cool, I'm just wondering because I normally have just enough for my monthly fees (Netflix, WWE, the bank.. Ect ) and if I end up putting 60 dollars in the bank for what I assumed they want to do and it will just be the usual $9.99 a month I would end up spending that $50 on something else

Yeah, even if Bryan gets healthy he's just... not the guy. I don't know who the guy is at this point. Cena-Rock was just so far above any main events WWE could put on with their full time roster it's ridiculous. Cena is the only guy who could make a Lesnar title match seem like a huge deal. As much as certain people would hate it, Cena winning the title back from Lesnar at WrestleMania might be the best option. They just haven't done a good enough job of finding Cena's successor and going all in on him and that's the kind of guy who would be needed to make a WrestleMania match against Lesnar for the title a big enough deal.

I mean... Johnny Curtis is the guy but they've got a lot of work to do in 7 months. Assuming someone had the balls to watch him job to Diego this Monday night and finally turn around, smack Vince in the face and say "ARE YOU FUCKING RETARDED!?"

i HATE that johnny curtis has been saddled with that gimmick. guy does a great job with it, but its comedic fodder at best. wish he'd be given more things to do

He's insanely likeable and he's got so much charisma. Add to that the fact that he's great in the ring and has the look and he's a huge star waiting to happen. I didn't mind the gimmick at first. He could have at least gotten really over with it as an upper-midcarder. Especially after they put him over Jericho at WrestleMania in his debut. Now that he's just another comedy jobber though they're really just wasting a talent who seriously has face of the company potential.

For whatever reason, I'm not sold on Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns as a WrestleMania match. I just feel like they're both too stoic to really have that WWE main event dynamic. I'd like to see it teased, or done at a different PPV as a feature match, but I just can't see it being for the WWE World Title at their biggest show and doing the numbers the WWE wants.

That being said, I do feel that Daniel Bryan is the guy. Whenever the guy gets a mention, he gets "YES!" chants still. He's probably still the most over babyface they have, even though he's not active. When he comes back and starts having good matches again, I think he will get surprisingly molten again. Bring him back for the 2015 Royal Rumble and have him win the whole thing after an amazing performance. The story heading into WrestleMania is The Authority trying to help out Brock Lesnar, and Brock being all "I don't need your help, because I'm going to break Bryan's neck."

I'm holding out hope for a Rock vs. Bray Wyatt feud heading into WrestleMania next year. You can put The Usos behind The Rock and The Family. What would Reigns do? I'd either go with a Triple Threat against Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins (they haven't had all three mix it up together yet) or maybe a match against Cesaro, who would probably be Reigns' best opponent, like he is everybody's. I'd rather see the Triple Threat and then John Cena face Cesaro in a massive IC Title match. Randy Orton is probably the biggest star without a match at that point in time, but there is likely to be an act that catches on between now and then that will need to face a guy of Orton's calibre. It could be Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn, Kenta or even someone like Jack Swagger.

His mic work is being exposed. I like Reigns in the ring although I fucking hate the spear as a finisher.

Very "smarky" of me but I tend to "go for" the guys with a journey rather than the guys who the company strap a rocket to. Guys like Jericho, Punk, Bryan, Eddie, Benoit. Not because I'm a Workrate Mark but because their story is easier to get behind. They've invested their life's work into travelling the world expanding their skills and getting to the top of the biggest company in the business is their investment paying off. There's something far more relatable in that.

I do like Reigns but it's so transparent what they want to create with him. I hope they pull it off because a fresh face at the top is always good. Just don't know if they can keep the guy hot for long enough.

I felt like this after the Battleground Battle Royal. The match was very sound but I was disappointed that out of the 20 guys in the match they went back to one of 5 former champions (with 2 former champions being in the final 2).

I'd be interested in seeing Rusev move on to a feud with Sheamus after he's done with Swagger. Seeing those two brutalise each other with Rusev claiming the US Title at the end of it would be fine by me. Have Lana declare the belt as the USSR Championship and do what Lance Storm did in WCW.

Also, always liked the idea of Barrett winning the US Title and switching it out to bring back the European Championship. Then defending it in "European Rules" matches for a few months until some pro-US guy beats him and reverts it back to the United States Championship.

Rusev and Lana have been a wonderful surprises. Rusev has definitley shown he isn't a stiff as a board power guy. Fuck I love that kick he throws. It's just devastating.

Lana is growing on me. She looks amazing. I haven't been too interested in Rusev, but his original match with Ziggler was good, and his stuff with Swagger keeps me from fast-forwarding his stuff. It's not so much the performer as the character. I would love to see a Ziggler/Rusev feud with Ziggler trying to bang Lana and Rusev getting all mad.

I was initially disappointed that the company went with The Miz as Intercontinental Champion. To be honest, I'd have gone with Ambrose and Rollins being in the Battle Royal, with it coming down to Cesaro and Ambrose with Ambrose winning. The Miz has done a good job with his current persona, and he and Ziggler will surprise people at SummerSlam, I feel. I could see Ziggler Superkicking Miz to win the title or some heels aligning with The Miz and helping him retain. Would it be too hard to imagine The Miz with an entourage consisting of either RybAxel or Slater-Gator?

I think Swagger should win the Flag Match after getting a rub from Hogan on RAW this week. Where would that put Swagger? I'm not sure. Part of me would like to see Swagger's feud with Rusev continue, if only to lead up to Swagger forcing Rusev to tap-out in a big face moment.

Sheamus isn't doing much with the US Title at the moment. I had an idea a while back that the WWE could have Sheamus be forced into the reluctant position of working for The Authority. He wouldn't turn heel, but in order to keep Ambrose busy and away from Seth Rollins, they put him in a US Title program against Sheamus. Ambrose still considers the title "his," and Sheamus engages Ambrose on a "You like to get beat up, fella? Well, I like to beat people up," level. At Night of Champions, Sheamus gets Ambrose in a Texas Cloverleaf and Triple H rings the bell, screwing Ambrose. Sheamus is pissed, but not as pissed as Ambrose, who begins a feud with Triple H.

I think Swagger wins the Flag Match to tie it at 1-1. The loss doesn't look bad on Rusev at all, who I'd imagine will win the rubber match.

Miz with an entourage would be great. Love midcard stables.

I'd rather not have HHH be the centre of another feud. Keep Ambrose separate for now.
