WWE rumored to be in talks with the Dudley Boys for a comeback run

First thought: "More Attitude Era throwbacks on a part time contract? Meh."
Second thought: "Wait...they have pyro in their entrance! Sweet!" |
DEVON, GET THE TABLES!!!!
I can't think of any exciting programs for them, but I will say that they look better now than they ever have.
Harper/Rowan, The Ascension, Usos,
Yes in a fucking heartbeat. Love the Dudleyz.
hall of fame

I would quite enjoy The Dudleyz feuding with Stardust and Goldust for the titles.
The promos alone would be awesome. |
That could be alright.
Does Ray own Bully Ray?
I assume so, TNA doesn't seem to think about owning names.
i would definitely like to see this.
Reverend D-Von only
So my "Dudleyz running in and 3D-ing people through tables" idea could be a thing???
Surfer Bubba Biker Devon ONLY
Reverend Devon only.
DUDLEY'S!!!! Hell yes, they are still amazing.

Would love if the Dudleys, Hardys, and Angle all found their way back to the WWE.
Angle has to be the one to beat Rusev, or we're all wasting our time there.

Dudleyz in TV-PG would be kinda meh. But obvs would mark the F out (see what I did there) to see them back on TV
They should come back as the Dudley Boyz - urban camo, glasses and Spike.
Even the Bubba Ray stutter would be fun. Pair stuttering Bubba with tourettes Goldust would make things hilarious. |
if Bubba got a chance to have a bit of a run with his heel TNA character, that could produce some good/fun stuff. As a team, I don't really see it too much
Wearing Spike Dudley?

<font color=goldenrod>With all Bubba accomplished on his own in TNA, I don't really think he'd be too eager to go back to WWE as a team full-time. At most I could see a brief 3 month return run sort of like the Outlaws had. Would probably end in a HOF induction and putting people through tables.</font>
Considering they went into business for themselves at Bound for Glory trying to get attention from NJPW, WWE is probably the last place for them.
don't blame them tbh, if there's still a spot for Archer and Harry Smith there, there's definitely room for the Dudleys

So I figure he'd be willing to do a full blown schedule.
Can't wait to see people get put through some tables

I would like them to come back. The tag team "division" is so bad, they need an experienced team to guide the division to make it interesting. I used to love tag team wrestling but cant stand it right now.
They can still go, I wouldn't mind seeing a comeback at all....
Meh. The Dudleys had their time in the spotlight in the WWE. I can see a nice pop for them in the beginning, but what do they really have to accomplish as a tag team in the WWE? Why take spotlight away from guys like the Usos, Cody Rhodes and the Wyatts, as well as other up and coming tag teams that the WWE will be forced to bring in eventually?
It'd be nice name recognition addition for the Dudleys versus whoever for the WWE Tag Titles, but in the overall picture it won't really mean much. Bully Ray coming in would be kind of new and interesting to see, but I don't know if his character really hits the marks of your average WWE big time player. Mid-carder at best. |
Bubba Ray's stupid ass boring singles run in WWE was close enough to the main event then that a fully-functioning Bully Ray could undoubtedly be a main eventer now.
Would be nice if they could also find a way to bring not just D-Von and Bubba Ray back but also Spike. I fucking loved his time as “The Boss” when he was CW Champ and a major badass heel.

While I think he's jerking everyone's chains, it would be amazing if Orton/Cena was cutting a promo about Brock to Heyman, Heyman tells them to turn around, BAM 3D
That would be stupid Innovator.
EC3 to WWE? Along with Bobby Rude. |

We already got a black/white team of fatasses that suck in Henry/Show.

"Devon, get the table!" made it into Sportscenter today.

There are a lot of reasons to bring back The Dudleyz. Nostalgia, merchandise, the crowd pops, having veterans work with younger guys. It makes sense to give them a part-time deal (or something similar to what Goldust works), and have them come in and make guys.
Aren't The Usos trying to be the "best brother team ever?" Yeah, that sounds like a challenge to me. |
Meh, I just want to be entertain. The Dudleyz entertain me. Couldn't care less how old they are.
Hell you could call Rick/Scott Steiner on that one. Would be more entertaining tv for sure!
I would kill to have Scott Steiner get 5 minutes mic time in the middle of the ring.
The WWE should give Scott Steiner a talk show segment on Main Event each week, where he just rips on both faces and heels.
Lol Steiner should do commentary on Main Event. Could you even fucking imagine the amount of WWE. Network buys if this occured?

Remember that awesome feud with the New Age Outlaws that cemented The Usos as viable champions ? Good stuff.
To be fair, I just want the Dudleys to ram Cena through a table. |
